  1. I agree with you... but do you believe it stops there though? There is smoke, and a history. Who knows how many "small" advantages they take... summed up becomes a huge advantage. Like 40 straight meaningful AFC wins at home with a team that isn't really good on paper in a league with parity. I would say the enormously high percentage of "fortunate" play calling in games I saw this season vs Cincinnati, Denver, and Indy 2x... even Baltimore can and should and could raise skepticism.
  2. http://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/news/2014/12/08/pegulas-open-up-about-vision-for-one-buffalo.html?page=2 I would assume that is the parking areas to the east of the Harbor Center?
  3. yeah, wait until the renewal cutoff happens. Keep your eyes open though. Im thinking with Pegulas and Rex, Seasons are going to fly off the shelf. It wont hurt to contact a ticket rep now and express interest. Again, keep your eyes open for when they become available.
  4. it reminded me a great deal of the Bills/Cowboys MNF game. I It was soul crushing and required a specific sequence of poor game management combined with odd plays that all played out a certain way to squeak out the result. I couldnt imagine losing like that in a Conference Championship game.
  5. here is a good article from before he got hurt that runs a (crude) comparison between Crosby's last year with Rimouski and McDavid's season. Itll get the "want" flowing. http://www.lfpress.com/2014/11/04/erie-otters-star-connor-mcdavid-may-be-better-than-sidney-crosby-at-age-17
  6. I want to hang them over this... but the fact is, seeing how bad the team has been, it would be tough to corral his personality in Buffalo. Even with a Championship Caliber team, Seattle has their hands full. The overall fact that they kept churning these Running Backs without enriching the rest of the team is what is maddening. Henry, McGahee, Lynch, Spiller. Also, wasnt there a report that Green Bay wanted to bid on him but Buddy sent him to Seattle without allowing Green Bay to maybe offer a 3rd or a 2nd?
  7. makes me very happy we have Rex Ryan
  8. Yes. He is better than Eichel. He is the complete package. Motor, compete, hands, head, and skating speed. His size is also coming along nicely. As far as the WJC, you had McDavid who was 17, coming off an injury and months off... facing 19-20 year olds. The top ones in the world. Domi was drafted 2 years ago and dominated. Set him back 2 years ago and he isnt even on the roster. McDavid also picked it up later when he got his legs back under him. Reinhart was awesome, but he also is a year older (a year from 15-19 is major developmentally), and he wasnt coming off months injury. The word on McDavid from fans to media to unnamed scouts and NHL executives is that he is a Crosby-like player and possibly even better. Worst case is he is a top 5 Center in the NHL.
  9. the Pegulas put out a statement that basically said "thanks but we got this"... making this study a waste of time and money
  10. to me.... if these things are still happening, Im sure it extends very much elsewhere in that outfit. The team overall really hasnt been that good, especially when you look at the injuries. Almost 40 straight meaningful home wins against the AFC. In a capped league with a good deal of parity... that seems pretty fishy. The recent cheating allegations ripped the bandaid off the old wound and I am again questioning all results. Part of it is hatred for the Patriots, but I think I would be really angry if I were different rivals. I have many Broncos and Eagles fans on my facebook feed and I see a lot of venting from them as well.
  11. im sick of the whole "they would have won anyway" or "oh well" attitude. This is just what they (apparently) got caught doing. God knows what goes on week-to-week for these advantages. People wonder why this team gathers misfits, botches draft picks, suffers giant injuries, yet still can get 1st round byes and win playoff games. Their home record also raises red flags IMO. you just watch and its all choreographed plays that seem to do the exact opposite of what the defense is going for. Last night it was at like a 95% clip. Nobody guesses right with that much efficiency.
  12. who knows how the game would have went though? They got to gameplan for it, and practice with the changed physics.
  13. the shout song is great. Almost everyone bellows it out and dances in unison. Its unique. Scrap that and you lose it forever
  14. we will be told "everybody does it" or "its not explicitly against the rulebook" or "youre just a biased Pats hater".... or "they won the game easily anyways" any one or more of those mantras will be fed and are already being fed. The NFL is in its best interest to make this go away and not taint the Superbowl so nothing will happen. No doubt. Our best hope is Irsay gets liquored up and makes a big deal out of it. I would be irate if I were the Colts. and yes, people wonder how the Patriots "do it" with all new casts of characters and misfits like Blount and plug and play on defense. No matter what injuries, FA losses, botched draft picks, here they are. I wonder how they do it..... hmmm.....
  15. I'm so sick of this. I would be furious if I were a Colts fan. With the knowledge of deflated fout balls the patriots could plan to pound it with Blount and throw short passes to edelman 500 times and also do things like dump it off to a tackle. Meanwhile that completely undermines indy's offense let alone they didn't have knowledge to plan for it. I'm sure the patriots also practiced all week for the change in physics (and also have likely done it before) Belichick should be out a year and also draft pix gone due to the recurrence of these things
  16. I'll be on the back 9 of my 40s by that point. The adjustment won't be completely unwelcome
  17. During the afternoon in autumn and winter, the sun typically appears toward the south, no? LookING at the current rws. The sun always seems to be over the southern upper deck there which would put it in the end zone of the cobblestone site
  18. Yup. It was sawyer. I believe it may have been the exchange street site?
  19. It's nice to be able to have the discussion without the relocation cloud
  20. Wow. No niagara falls. Big surprise. Not at all
  21. Renovating the Ralph is my 1st choice. Open stadium exchange street is number 2. If they are set on enclosed, Buffalo river is interesting
  22. I hope whatever "trends" that have gone into this "thing" and the anus-dome in Atlanta are done by the time the new Bills stadium is designed
  23. It looks like someone crudely photoshopted a roof onto joe robbie stadium
  24. I had friends in from Massachusetts who went and said that was one of the coolest moments they ever witnessed
