I would have like to have signed Jesse James. But there are two other intriguing TEs I would like: Harris - KC Brate - TB Brate is rumored to be available by trade or possibly cut since they have OJ Howard. He’s a better TE than James IMO too.

I’m willing to bet Bills cut Ivory. Otherwise don’t really understand the move. Breaking: Bills talking to both Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders to come out of retirement and backup Gores backing up of McCoy.

I still hate this thread title. It suggests there is something linking him to Bills when there isn’t. Now if REAL rumors pop up, I won’t even read them because I will still think it stems from this massive leap in assumption over snow.

He played for the Colts the 3 years prior to last year and never averaged 4 ypc. So I can’t over value the one year and also ignore he’s another year older. Just can’t see the value here of how he makes the room better than what we already have.

This seems like a false rumor. I mean how ancient are they trying to be at RB. The only way this would make sense to me is if they are planning to trade McCoy and draft a RB in first 4 rounds. That has more to do with how bad our OL was than how good Frank Gore still is. He would not have done much better than McCoy or Ivory here last year. And at his age, another year older is a big deal.

Yes and if anyone remembers, we got very thin during the season the last 2 years due to injuries. Very pleased with this signing and now we really don’t have to address corner anymore this offseason. We are set pretty nicely now

Not excuses, the rebuild of the foundation is what is done. Now its time to build around this new foundation this year. And yes, I do agree there needs to be measured progress this year, but I also fully expect it.

Thats where short memory is needed. I dont care about any past regimes when a new one is in town. They get a clean slate each time, wallowing over past owners and past regimes is a waste of energy and time. All I care about is who is here now and what they are doing to bring us to a better place. And so far, I am very very very pleased with the McD and Beane combo. Both garner a LOT more respect around the NFL than even the war scorned fans here. Its understandable even though it really makes no sense to pile on the past mistakes to this current team. McD has a great reputation around the NFL as a young rising HC and so does Beane as a GM. If either of them were let go tomorrow, they would have no shortage of suitors. Some fans see the same here too while others are convinced the Bills and everyone associated with the Bills suck, are wrong, and are losers until one day they are not. Fine either way, I choose to evaluate them on their own merits and not be punished by the road littered with past failures before their arrival. HA, you must be new here.
