  1. Are you actually complaining about the quality of talent that will be on the board? LOL.
  2. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2825008-2019-nfl-free-agency-which-players-jobs-are-in-danger-after-early-signings?share=sms#slide5 Interesting, names two Bills who could be on hot seat after FA. I don’t agree Gore signing puts McCoy on hot seat, especially since McCoy was a big reason why Gore came here. But they also named Zay ? and pretty much said everything I’ve been saying for a while now
  3. And how do you know this? Jordan played a partial year here. And they liked what they saw and made him a priority to keep him. Given his lack of time to prove his worth, they agreed on a 1 year prove it deal and he will be hungry and seems to want to earn a long term deal in Buffalo. How do you know Phillips isn't there yet? Thats easy to say, but really you have no information to say that. We aren't at practices, we don't see him in the meetings, we don't know how he has progressed because he was behind Kyle and Star last year. They didn't draft him to sit on the bench for 5 years, they drafted him to hopefully succeed Kyle. And he was one of the big favorites all through camp last year with coaches and teammates raving about him. So I have a hard time believing they are not going to give the 2nd year DT they just drafted a shot to win the job before investing a high pick in another DT. And especially since they also have Jordan who at the very least will compete with Phillips to push each other.
  4. You are going to get flack for this I am sure, but its honestly not a bad idea, its just not very likely. I don't actually think Beane sees DT as a need right now. People are grossly over looking both Jordan and Phillips. Jordan is better than people think because they forget he joined the team mid season and we already had Kyle and Star as starters. He is also on a 1 year prove it deal and will be hungry to prove he is a starter. Phillips is also a guy they drafted to be a potential Kyle replacement and who they seem to like a lot who didn't see the field a lot with guys like Kyle, Star, and then Jordan. So, I actually do not think they will sign another DT like a Suh for instance nor do I really think they will draft one. A guy like Oliver is hard to pass up, but honestly, Bills haven't been looking at any DT's in FA or trade, but have been looking around for pass rushers. So I think come draft time we are going to draft an EDGE rusher (if we dont sign one in FA still or trade for one) or a TE...possibly Metcalf (although I think with Cole and Brown, they will wait until 2nd or 3rd round to grab a WR). They don't really know what they have in Jordan and Phillips, so I think they are going to let those guys battle out for the starter job and see how they do this year and then if neither cease control they will look at DT in next years draft or free agency.
  5. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2825723-report-former-patriots-dt-malcom-brown-saints-agree-to-3-year-15m-contract Malcom Brown to Saints, prob means no Ansah now to them
  6. Saints just signed Malcom Brown, doubt they have money for Ansah now. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2825723-report-former-patriots-dt-malcom-brown-saints-agree-to-3-year-15m-contract
  7. As of right now: Cleveland has more offensive talent on the roster than KC or NE. They also have more defensive talent up front than either team too. The only real "on paper" hole with Cleveland is the secondary where they only have Ward. They also need some LB help too. But they still have the draft and rest of FA to try and address those needs. They are absolutely worthy of being talked about not only as the favorite to win their division, but also a SB contender. However talk is just talk...none of it matters come week 1 on Sunday. Their coaching staff has to get these guys to buy into a system, play together, and as a team still. But today is March 14th, so all you can do is talk right now, and there is a LOT to talk about regarding their talent level as a team right now. If Baker keeps progressing, they easily should be a top 5 offense in the AFC, and probably the NFL. I mean last year they won 5 of their last 7 and people forget all the heart break losses earlier in the year with their dud HC who got fired. They were a lot better than their record showed by years end, and that was BEFORE they added OBJ, Hunt, and Oliver.
  8. Yup I remember that game too, those bombs and that Price throw were amazing. Funny, if you watch this video you would think Losman had a pretty good career, he made some great throws and had a ton of arm talent. I actually thought his highlight video was only gonna be like 2 min ha. Makes you wonder if he could have had a better career had he been drafted by a better organization. As much as we all make fun of him, he certainly had some arm talent. He just never mentally progressed and wonder if had better coaching if he might have developed more than he did.
  9. 1. Why does that matter, it literally has NO RELEVANCE of any kind to his ability or the quality of the signing. 2. Rarely ever is the list of suitors known unless the player specifically talks about it. So this is a pointless request and the "lack of" this list has literally NO RELEVANCY on indicating what the market was for him. You might be the only person in the world not impresses with this signing. Its honestly mind blowing.
  10. Both those comments are hilarious! hahahahaha
  11. You clearly dont watch Tyrell play. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE exaggerates Tyrell the way you are. I have watched his whole career, and you talk about him like he's the next Randy Moss while he goes out every Sunday and plays like the next guy you wont remember when he retires. Does Tyrell have upside, sure. But he is no where near as good nor has no where near your exaggerations. I have watched most his games and never once did I think to myself that is a game changing player and the best WR on the market. And citing some media created rankings by no means translates to how scouts, GM's and coaches rank or value these players. So because you read a few articles by non professional football people, doesnt mean Tyrell was this or that with every team. This is about the worst Tyrell analysis I have ever seen written on him in terms of accurately describing him. His mom wouldn't even be this over the top on describing him. He has upside and potential, but wow your over exaggeration is about as bad as I have seen on any player around here in quite some time.
  12. Couldn't agree more. One of the most lasting early impressions I will never forget was seeing him in the Charges game running up the sideline firing up the defense to try and get us back in that game. I knew right there this kid was a born leader and all he did was show more and more throughout the season that he is going to be special. I never try and get to far ahead of myself (good or bad) early on with young players, but sometimes there are just so many signs that its hard to ignore. I am fully convinced that he is going to be special.
  13. Um, Dukes come in pairs...Dukes of Hazard for instance Real question would be, which one of them is Bo and which one is Luke.
  14. ...then he must be a franchise QB! Love it and loving what we are hearing from our new players about WANTING to play with Josh. Not to mention how great Josh is being as a leader and being the first to contact all these guys, and not just the receivers either.
  15. URGENT SITUATION: Someone please rush John Wawrow some Midol, he is clearly in on going need and pain.
  16. We will have to agree to disagree on that one...all good, GO BILLS
  17. Evans had excellent hands and was a great route runner. I don't think you are remembering him accurately. He was poorly used as mostly a deep threat, but he could run the whole route tree and make contested catches. But yeah, John Brown can be part of that role for Allen, super excited we signed him and Beasley to work the underneath.
  18. So the Losman thread about impressing at Clemson got me to post a Losman highlight reel for fun in it, but all it really did was remind me just how good Lee Evans was. People tend to forget how good Lee Evans was and how bad his luck was to play with crap QB's most of his career. Can you imagine who good Allen and Evans would be together? Just bringing some light back on one of the most underrated Ex-Bills players of all time.
  19. We didn't pay him to be on the mic Thats what we paid rap legend Cole Beasley for
  20. I don’t know he will be that much cheaper though, this is a secondary RB so I don’t think duke has a big price tag, but that’s also just my assumption.
