  1. I love Marshawn and if it seems like he'd help I'd be all for it, but honestly I doubt he's going to be a better option than Antonio Williams after sitting out all year.
  2. Hmm, now I'm thinking about a roast beef / cheddar / horseradish stromboli, garnished with salt / caraway seeds.
  3. I've been making stromboli. Can I put Crab in there?
  4. Putting down my deposit for next year today I hope Goddamned Capitalism
  5. Yeah, for coaches there's also Joe D (O line coach)
  6. relative to kicking accuracy vs passing accuracy, kind of. His big knock coming out of college was inconsistency / inaccuracy. His Kicking percentage in 2019 was 71%, which is at least 10% lower than what you'd want to see from a kicker.
  7. Uh, we're playing the Ravens, not the Browns. Do they have any former Bills on staff?
  8. Maybe someone here snuck vegetables into his meal during a previous visit. https://defector.com/al-michaels-and-the-price-of-comfort/
  9. 1 win is a push, we need to win 1 more for him to lose.
  10. They went for it on 4th and didn't pick it up, we went for it on 4th and did - to me it's more execution than coaching.
  11. I felt like the reason we only scored 27 had more to do with Indy's Offense controlling time of possession and our poor starting field goal position. Someone posted about this in the last few days (thread was originally titled Otis Anderson and got changed I think) but they basically used the Super Bowl XXV game plan of controlling time of possession through long drives to keep our offense off the field. We were able to make some key stops on 4th down that kept points of the board and had some big explosive plays in the passive game to pull it out. Josh had a great day.
  12. It may depend on who we play - Yeldon is probably better as a receiving option, Williams might be the better option if they feel we're going to need a downhill runner more.
  13. Watch out for those rubber pellets!
  14. Any idea when the schedule will be set? Are we likely going to have to wait until Monday to see when we play?
  15. My guess is there were lots ahead of you who didn't but tickets the first time around for whatever reason and are still ahead of you on the list, but it's just a guess.
  16. I couldn't sleep this morning and am rewatching the Dolphins game. Watch him sacrifice himself on the McKenzie Punt Return TD one more time.
  17. I was up around 4, knew I wasn't getting back to sleep. Feels like Christmas morning as a kid.
  18. probably underwhelmed to be honest, although I was glad to have someone who personality-wise was the polar opposite of Rex.
  19. Any sane franchise would not trade Watson for anything short of a Ricky Williams plus sized haul (like 2 hole drafts worth of picks, including #1 or #2 overall picks) and even then it's probably not a great trade. Still, Houston has shown that they are dumb, and so who knows IF it will happen. I do know that if NE ends up with him it will suck.
  20. Yeah, good point - turnovers and red zone play were also crucial to that Super Bowl. Winning those phases of the game will certainly help.
  21. I think the Colts will absolutely try to control time of possession, as they should. We may only get 8 or 9 possessions, we'll need to make sure we score on 5 or 6 at least, and get TDs. The key to beating this gameplan is: Stopping the Colts on D - don't let them go on long drives (especially multiple in a row) Score TDs on offense Offensive gameplan should work in some longer drives to keep our D fresh
  22. I would absolutely enjoy crushing him in the Super Bowl, and I feel like that would be the likely outcome. I'd also be ok with a 4 sack game from Chase Young sending him home early (and hurting.)
  23. Maybe, but honestly don't you think he could write his own checks with pretty much any QB in the league for the next decade at least?
