  1. We'll see, but I would be surprised if Beasley and Sanders were both on the team next year, and I would not be surprised if neither is. I think between some young guys (Hodgins, Stevenson) and new guys brought in through FA and the draft the receivers room will look pretty different next year.
  2. I hope we swept for bugs after he left. Seriously, my guess would be to maybe congratulate Daboll and wish him well in the playoffs and in his head coaching interviews.
  3. I think that job would be Daboll's if he wants it. The 3 questions that need to be answered - 1. Is Daniel Jones better than any of the QBs that would be available in this year's draft (I think probably yes) 2. Does Daboll think he can turn around the career of Jones? 3. Is there a job on the table for Daboll with a better situation coming in (maybe Chicago?)
  4. From now on I am starting all my crazy idea threads with "Not a crazy idea, but..."
  5. huh Oh, sorry, did I miss the email address for us to share our gameplanning tips with the coaching staff? Luckily, as a fan I'm allowed to think about the future of the team, us winning this week doesn't depend on me focusing on this week's opponent. As for bad juju, we've had our share, and now it's ass kicking time (including the juju, it can get the ***** out.)
  6. I'm not looking past the Chiefs, I know they are slight favorites (and after the shellacking they gave the Steelers, and having earned the #2 seed and playing at home, they deserve to be.) With that said, if we do win, do you have a team you'd rather play next week? Why? Personally I'm rooting for Cincinnati, mostly just because I'd rather play at home. I think they have a more dangerous offense, but it's not more dangerous than the Chiefs, so I feel like if we can handle our business there we should be good against the Bengals.
  7. Yeah, I needed Gabe Davis to have one more reception to hit on a +1500 parlay, fire his ass!
  8. I was at both games, the Raiders game may have been better because it sent us to the Super Bowl, but last night was close because it was the Pats.
  9. Food / Meatball subs are allowed
  10. I took a video of the final kneel down if you want to get more of a sense of what it was like
  11. Daboll was absolutely masterful last night, and I will be shocked if he doesn't end up elsewhere after the season.
  12. Sorry - I did a search for Fitzpatrick in the last 24 hours and nothing came up, any guidance on which thread to look in?
  13. I saw on Twitter someone talking about Fitzpatrick being in the stands last night as a fan, did anyone see it on the broadcast or see any pictures anywhere?
  14. Yeah, it was as wonderful as you could imagine. We didn’t tailgate, and benefited from being out in it for less than a lot of folks, but properly dressed I wasn’t really cold. My toes were starting to feel it a bit when we stuck around to cheer Josh’s victory lap after the game.
  15. On the thruway and seeing way too many Massholes
  16. A few years ago when I was going to lots of concerts / shows, I used Facebook as a de facto Calendar, and most events would have a page, and on that page there would be people selling tickets, and after a while, it turned into 90% of the tickets being sold there were fraudulent.
  17. They are not allowed in. You may be able to get away with it if the battery is not in the clothing when you go through security, but they are in the list of disallowed items. There's no rule against rocks (and depending on the rock it's not getting flagged in the metal detector.) I've hear people speculate that it's due to the fire risk of batteries, but again I've been able to bring in battery power packs / handwarmers, so not sure if that's it (or if it was just missed.) I was wondering if it's just due too the difficulty of getting clothing with batteries sewn into it through metal detectors.
  18. It's not - the first item listed is battery powered clothing - a handwarmer is not clothing. I've actually brought mine in (during the Colts game) and didn't have an issue, but wondering if it was lax enforcement or if they are allowed. My guess is it will depend on who is at the gate and their interpretation, like so much else.
  19. I think you may get away with it if the battery is not in the clothing when you enter the stadium and you can explain it away as something else (e.g. a phone battery), I was thinking maybe the reason clothing is specifically banned is because it's hard to confirm with the metal detectors what is inside a coat, etc...
  20. I asked this in another thread (maybe the weather one?) but has anyone ever had a problem bringing in a battery powered handwarmer?
  21. Really getting serious about that Bills Mafia thing, huh This is my first year of season tickets, it was a pleasant surprise to find him in our section. I tried pointing him out to my son, but he has no idea who Elvis is (and cares even less.)
  22. Any team can beat any team, and the Steelers Defense could steal a game, but it seems like the least likely upset of this weekend. If I were guessing I'd say maybe they win this game 1 in 6 or 7 (which is pretty close to the Vegas odds of +500)
