Not necessarily true

I thought it was a fake slide initially, but then on the last replay they showed, it looked like he hesitated, but his head never went back and his hips didn't tilt or anything... I'll watch it again, but like I said I genuinely was ready to say I thought he was fake sliding and that it's cheap, but I think all he did was pause.

Wild Card Weekend - Wild Card Weather

You do understand why the government would have a hard time preventing people from protesting though right? -

Wonder if playing a game without fans is an option? -

Oh screw getting cold for practice...I remember practicing lacrosse in high school in March in the cold in Rochester and I got slashed on the wrist and I actually felt it, lol...in a game it wouldn't have even registered. Just a totally different mindset in terms of needing to deal with adversity in practice...you're working on specific things, not proving to the world you're tough (now if he was towards the bottom of the roster, that's different)...they'll see just how tough you are in the game and there's no one tougher than JA. -
Has the team lost complete confidence in Bass???

Why, it's a valid question and a valid thread imo -
Wyatt Teller's wife dishes on her difficult, non-working life
HardyBoy replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
So they start dating, she falls deeply in love and you want her to ask him to stop the only dream he's likely ever had that like .001% of the population (if that) even has a chance of achieving?! Your dairy farmer analogy isn't a good one (I do appreciate sharing a personal story)...basically anyone can become a dairy farmer if they wanted to and can find a comparable job if they choose to do something different. -

There is a pretty decent chance her husband is going to have significant medical and potentially psychological issues after his is done playing and she is going to have to be his primary caretaker way way younger in life than if he wasn't playing football, while potentially largely raising a child by herself. You have no idea if she actually wants to have this life or if she preferred to just have him be a normal person doing a normal job. You're equating money with happiness and frankly you're doing the exact thing she is literally calling out. You don't know her, you are being judgey and doing the exact thing you are essentially accusing her of doing. -
That's what I'm saying though, they obviously think he has enough athleticism to be out there or they wouldn't be playing him...my point is let's assume they are playing him because he is showing at least the athletic floor required to play the position, so why isn't he playing at least a little bit ok?

I'm curious if this shows Miller was relying on his athletic ability and not enough on his technical skill set...or maybe everything was based on his ability to get bend and he never developed a more nuanced technical fundamental set of rush moves. It's really the only thing that makes sense...obviously they had to have seen Miller wasn't able to do the same from an athletic perspective, like elite hall of fame level athleticism, but they had to have figured he was going to be able to rely on the technical part of his game to still be impactful, but why hasn't he? Like Beane and McD aren't morons, as much as people might have issues with them, they are pro level talent evaluators maybe one or two people on this board are even close to the same range in terms of player evaluation... there has to be a reason they keep playing him...what is that reason and it's not that because they're morons, just please for the sake of respect for me typing this all out on a phone, please brainstorm a reason that isnt that to help further the discussion (though I fully support trolling me with "because they're morons moron" lol)

Omg, why did it post like 5 times?! Gonna edit this quick, not my intention

This is a bad take... without allen, they would have a ton more cap space and the rest of the roster would be significantly better.

JA can earn an extra $5 million this year by doing this
HardyBoy replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he's likely earned that already -
And those people were the most annoying entitled people I've ever met and I didn't realize the bills fanbase is suddenly brimming with that type of negativity and scapegoating... it was gross, it made for a very unenjoyable stretch...bunch of whiners

I think a lot matters if the Dolphins beat the Ravens. Assuming the Dolphins win, Bills win and the Bills get a playoff spot because other stuff happens, I still don’t see a situation where Allen ends his game streak to rest, which means you have the oline starting. Dolphins could be wild card opponent too, so not sure if that changes things, but you might try and set up plays for the following week?

Albany/Clifton Park NY - Where to Watch? (also my 40th bday)
HardyBoy replied to HardyBoy's topic in The Stadium Wall
My wife basically said too many potential dangerous drivers out tonight and it's either Pam's Pub, which is less than 5 min from their place, or watch it at my in laws.. she's right I guess -

I got a peacock subscription for $20 for the year during black Friday, being able to watch isn't the issue... it's more I'd ideally watch the game with other bills fans, especially on my birthday -

I've been to Pam's Pub before, it's right around the corner from their place...I like it, but looking for somewhere a bit bigger I think. -
Normally wouldn't post something like this, but a bit of a unique circumstance. Up visiting my in-laws in Clifton Park and wondering if there is anywhere cool to watch the game with other bills fans? It's also my 40th birthday tomorrow (Dec 23rd)... I'm originally from Rochester, so don't have friends in this area really and the idea of sitting just sitting in my in laws house all night (like I do basically every year on birthday) sounds pretty lame for my 40th. I can't guarentee I can get out of the house, but looking for options. Would be cool to get adult only options, but also someplace I could potentially bring my six year old for the first half and then have one of his grandparents drive him home (the kid is legit die hard already and knows all about rules and strategy and is a lot of fun to watch sports with already and he's cool, but my in-laws could also watch both my kids and give the wife and I a chance to get out for a night). Anyway, I'm more fun at parties than I am at being good at keeping my posts short!

Don't look now...Von looked somewhat Von like...

Well, if you're just looking for the final outcomes, then you're going to miss the steps required to get there. Was gonna make a you gotta make sure to be emotionally available and supportive type joke here, but it didn't come together -
Yeah, but he had those on just 7 completions...they were tearing up the passing game too, they just didn't need to throw. Dak had something like 135 passing yards I believe...on 21 completions! Josh Allen played really well, both in the plays he made and the plays he threw away. Cook's vision looks like it's starting to become consistently elite. He's flashed it before, but i can't wait to see the all 22 breakdown to see his vision and how he's setting up blocks... looks like it might have slowed down for him...I really liked the thought of ETN, but...they didn't even have to show off the playaction game off this yet either...

Feels angry in here the last couple pages... like maybe deep breath and it's a game and remember back after Hamlin got hurt if you said it would change the way you cared about what really mattered... now would be a good time to channel that
