  1. Just to head this off; I understand cheating concerns may prevent the tests from being copied, but the homework assignments should provide a suitable base for a tutor to see where she would need help, and areas to strengthen before the test. Even more importantly they will see areas that she is exceling in, and would be able to structure their tutoring in a way to focus on her weaknesses in a particular subject using her strenghts as a way to get around her weakness. ie she is good at music, so use neumonic devices to help her learn european history, or for fractions say something like if you have two musical pieces you want to combine, but one is in 3/4 time, and the other is in 7/8 time you can't just add them together because obviously they are not the same, so you need to make them both in some time measure that works. Something like that, I don't know, I do know it's tough, I worked with kids with autism for a year, and with them it was even more important to find a method of presenting something in a way that they will attend to the task, as well as gain something out of it, not even close to simple.
  2. John, Couldn't you make a copy of her homework assignments and provide those to her tutors, and ask that a copy of the tests are sent to the tutors? They won't be able to give an exact grade, as teachers have different criteria, but it will at the very least give them an idea as to what she needs to work on. This way who cares how long the teacher takes to grade the papers/assignments. Just a thought. Also, while I believe that teachers should care, they only have so much time to care. Many have children of their own, and obviously you care very much about your children you can see that if they needed to keep every parent(or even a handful) updated regularily this might impinge on the time they are able to spend with their children/family, and I'm not sure that that is fair either.
  3. And putting a guy like Andre Reed, or Moulds in their prime into your starting lineup at expense of Hardy as a rookie is something you don't want? It's a win now league, no?
  4. A first round draft choice next year? With Boldin the Bills might have one of the best, if not the best, receiver corps in the league. He is a player in/entering his prime and would be absolutely perfect in Buffalo. Not sure how the money works out, but you gotta think about it, eh?
  5. You could also say that if the Bills valued Losman less they would have made a trade with said teams.
  6. The entire offense sorely lacks in productivity.
  7. Wes Welker. Enough said, don't be silly.
  8. Hey I was actually thinking about writing this as well. I live in Brighton/Oak Square but I have a friend's going away party to attend but I don't know how late/early(hopefully) his party will be going. I'm hoping to be in front of a tv, be it at someones house or at a bar, so throw up some suggestions and I will talk to the other Bills fan that will be chillen with me and yea perhaps get something together.
  9. Green Bay drafted Brian Brohm out of Louisville. They probably could use a veteran backup and develop Brohm as their third QB, and probably should, but Brohm was excellent as a Junior. Maybe we could send JP and a mid/low draft choice for Brohm? I like Edwards a lot, but I know I get sad when the carosel at the amusement park stops
  10. Didn't Pace get hurt last year? How do you know he isn't as good anymore? He hasn't played in a game yet. Of course there are probably 10 articles stating this (I'd wouldn't mind seeing one), but just wondering.
  11. The Bills have Losman. Say what you want about him, but he knows the offense, and is in a contract year. If he gets his chance he has a lot of money, and more importantly a possible shot at a starting job next year on the line. He should be fine. Of course I thought the same thing before the Jax game last year .
  12. Remember the throw Edwards made to Reed in Washington? Into three defenders perfectly placed about 20-30 yards down field. Pennington can do the same thing 10 yards down field. We could run the miniature version of the offense. It will be so cute, all the pink hat pats fans will think its absolutely adorable.
  13. I thought about this last night when I heard that Farve was traded. Maybe we could trade Losman and bring in Pennington. We would get an accomplished backup, and get some value for Losman. However, I have very little confidence in Pennington coming in on a cold, rainy day and producing. He has small hands and a weak arm. The weak arm doesn't concern me as much, he places the ball really well, but the small hands in the "cold rain and snow" does.
  14. Oh and don't hate on my name, I put some real thought into that....now if I could just do the same with my postings
  15. Haha alright truce. By the way I want the same thing as you and everyone else on here, and that is for Peters to play, like right now, but on the bright side it will hopefully give us a reason to cheer before the season starts when he ends his hold out.
  16. So with the information that we have prove to me that Peters didn't grow a gigantic phalus and is out searching for a giant vag to stick it in...dude you should totally post your address! There, now I made my own day. *I don't really mean you personally, I just needed someone to be the brunt of the joke, but you can't disprove it, so don't ask me to disprove a negative anymore, because I got plenty more. It's actually quite simple I just make any wild claim or assertion and you won't be able to disprove it*
  17. You gotta be joking...Please tell me you have "faith" that Peters is hurt, because that would really make my day.
  18. That isn't all that surprising, I mean the Titans have a great wide receiver group!
  19. Goes right along with my philosophy on life. You never barely miss the bus, you always barely catch it, just sometimes the bus takes a real long time to get there. Well the bus stop is getting mighty full with people eager to catch the damn bus, and when the bus stop gets full the bus always shows up, and then there are never any seats on the bus, and everyone stands up together. Well at least I can say I've been waiting at the stop the whole time, and I can say "phew good thing I just barely caught this bus." Go Bills
