  1. Was thinking about this same game today...hope this is what you were looking for!
  2. I have loved Rian Lindell and how reliable he has been for many years here in Buffalo. I think it is obvious that it's time to move on here as well, as the coaching staff is hesitant to attempt anything from 47 or longer. You just can't handicap yourself like that, and leave possible points on the board. The one name we should be going after right now is Nate Kaeding. He has a big leg, and when released a few weeks ago was the most accurate kicker in Chargers history. The move seems logical as Buddy likes getting his Chargers guys an opportunity here in Buffalo. I wanted the Bills to draft Blair Walsh last season, and he seems to be lighting it up from deep as well. Thoughts??
  3. I have been a Wilson advocate for awhile now. The guy is the best play-action QB in draft behind Luck, and has the best accuracy and arm strength on the run. He is listed as the fourth QB behind Foles on my board. I wouldn't mind taking him with a fourth rounder, but some have him going tale end of round 3.
  4. Tannehill is just not worth a 1st round draft pick...He is athletic but still isn't polished enough for me to gamble on him with a 1st. Someone will over pick for him and I'm still all for taking Russell Wilson in the 3rd.
  5. i would like the Finnegan pick up in FA, but Williams will be a stud. Great cover skills and is rarely out of place. We've been waiting for the shutdown corner since Clements and its about time. Im not sayin he is there, but his showing this year has the odds stacked in his favor. Florence and McGee are good as gone! No need to keep McGee around, and McKelvin isnt to far behind especially if Rodgers can figure it out.
  6. I would hope a lose to keep in good draft contention, but the win today I say beat the Pats...break out the brooms in Foxboro!!
  7. Looking at the list of free agents to be, Visanthe Schiancoe is the best available tight end. Scott Chandler was a nice surprise this season, but could be resigned at a smaller priced contract. Schiancoe isn't Ponders favorite target and that has shown in his production. With Gailey's use of the tight end, I think Schiancoe would be a perfect fit. At 6'4", 250 he is a threat down the field and can seal the end for Freddie. I would take Schiancoe and Chandler at TE next season. Your thoughts?
  8. Bucs are hoping that Youboty will step in and compete for starting corner job... good luck with that Tampa Bay Signs CB
  9. Bills Draft was asked if Bills were pursuing Adam Weber, QB Minnesota. @BillsDraft Matthew Elder -- @PrimetimeBupp11 Appears that way, they are the hot team. Weber is deciding in the morning he has a few offers. Twitter Link
  10. There have been rumblings out of Michigan this week that regardless of a win or loss Rich Rodriguez will be out as head coach. The likely replacement is Harbaugh from Stanford. If Harbaugh leaves does Luck throw his name into the Draft hat, or learn a new system under a new coach and stay? Kirk Herbstreit believes Rich Rod will coach his last game Saturday. "If that does not happen, then I've got to believe -- I've called Stanford games this year, and as good as they are, they don't fill up their stadium. It's really sad to see the apathy. They just don't appreciate what they have. I could very easily see Jim Harbaugh -- I don't think he's going to be at Stanford much longer." Rich Rod On way Out
  11. With former Steelers draft specialist Doug Whaley now in Buffalo, he brings an impressive record on filling needs with players that have talent. He is known especially for his defensive signings, here is a look at what he brought to Pittsburgh: 2009- Evander Hood DL(still learning), Mike Wallace WR (breakout season and has emerged into the #3 if not #2 WR role. 2008- Rashard Mendenhall RB(Perfect fit in the Steeler offense and looks like a good move since Willie Parker fell apart.), Dennis Dixon QB (Took a gamble and Dixon has showed lots of promise.) 2007- Lawrence Timmons LB (Perfect fit in LeBeau's scheme), LaMarr Woodley (Was a depth pick then and is now a solid starter.), Daniel Sepulveda P (Grabbed Sepulveda early and has the potential to be Pro Bowler) Other notable picks - Santonio Holmes, Heath Miller, Troy Polamalu, Antwaan Randel El, Plaxicco Burress One thing that is appealing to a Bills fan is that Whaley has drafted the starting offensive line for the Steelers within 7 years. So if he continues the trend in Buffalol, we should be set in a few years. I think that Buddy and Doug can bring some promise to us, more than we think. With the transition into the 3-4 scheme, bringing in a defensive minded draft guru could be a nice move.
  12. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are expected to bring in unrestricted free agent G/C Richie Incognito for a visit next week. Jackson says that the Dolphins put in a claim for Incognito after he was cut by the Rams in December, but lost out to the Bills in the waiver process. If Incognito could control his temper, he'd fit right in with the mauling offensive front of the Dolphins and push Donald Thomas and Nate Garner for the right guard job.
  13. "league sources" I do a radio show, and a certain listener was giving me all these hints before the deals became official today, and he was correct. He told me about this trade possibility, and said more players could be involved. He called the Randle El signing this morning
  14. I was talking to league sources and they said the Bills have talked to the Browns about a trade involving Donte Whitner. The Bills would give up Whitner, and the Browns are giving up QB Derek Anderson , and a late draft pick. They told me it would be done either friday or thursday if it is done. First time hearing from these guys so I don't know if its true. Thoughts?
  15. Chris Chambers-WR-Chiefs Mar. 7 - 12:07 pm et The Chiefs are currently negotiating with unrestricted free agent Chris Chambers, a source tells Profootballtalk's Mike Florio. Chambers latched on with the Chiefs after getting cut by the Chargers last season and caught 36 passes for 608 yards with four touchdowns in nine games. He'll be 32 when the 2010 season kicks off, but would likely start opposite Dwayne Bowe if he re-signs with the Chiefs.
