The Athletic: Brett Favre’s Advice to Josh Allen
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes the game has changed, but mindsets have not. Allen displays a ton of the same attributes as a Farve or Rodgers. I want Josh to protect himself so he can enjoy his life and playing career. -
Dawson Knox getting some top Rookie love!

Just think what his stats will be when he can be the every down TE. -
The only thing I hope we learn from the EJ experience is not to give up on a QB too soon. Allen is going to develop.

BH13's Q1 QB Efficiency Ratings

Mariota’s numbers remind me of Tyrod’s. I’m Probably way of base. -
The real test for this team is this weekend
atlbillsfan1975 replied to warrior9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I got to agree that how the Bills answer this weekend will tell us if this year can be special. on defense it’s going to be a different game plan. Shut down the run and keep Mariota in the pocket. No big plays over the top. If Singletary is back, this is a very winnable game. The Bills need a diverse offense if Josh is out. -
Brady interview: no props to Bills D
atlbillsfan1975 replied to TroutDog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I totally agree. I can’t wait to see how his body does around week 12. After getting hit a bunch and playing in the cold. He looked old out there on Sunday and it is early in the season. any of you guys over 40 know your body can only take so much. I know Brady takes great care of himself and all that, but no way he doesn’t feel the hits more. What Patriots board do all these Pats fans belong to? I can’t wait to be over there when the fall happens. -
Josh just doesn’t seem like the kind of guy to let that happen. Everything about his story points to a guy who doesn’t give up and who believes in himself. I don’t think lack confidence will be something that does Josh in. Let’s all hope this is but a small blip on a very long productive career for Josh. Get healthy big guy!

Belichick and Micah Hyde postgame
atlbillsfan1975 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like it. Micah isn’t baking down or afraid of NE. The entire D kicked Brady’s butt. Only a matter of time for Brady. By years end Brady will Ben onto retirement. -
Jones 100% intended to hit Allen helmet to helmet. His body language before during and after the hit clearly display Jones’ intent. Jones is another safety in the line of dirty players that Belichick has trotted out there. Rodney Harrison was a notorious head hunting cheap shot guy. People said he intimidated his opponents, he sure did. Same way Jones just did. One thing is for sure, Jones now has a bullseye on him. I hope it impacts his ability to play. Makes him second guess himself. This would be a little justice for Allen.

Jim Kubiak Analysis of Allen against Pats
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Casey D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree that a loss will typically leave players wanting to learn what happened more than a win. Belichick is a great schemer. He believes focusing on one thing and making a team beat you with something else. On Sunday with Singletary out Belichick wanted to make Allen beat him. Allen was over emotional for the first two plus quarters. It happens. Allen is going to play NE another 25-30 times hopefully, the nerves will go away. Allen will learn from this as will a lot of the younger guys. -
Roughing the passer rules
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look, I been on here the last couple days pointing out things the Pats did in this game and others that were not sportsmanlike. That play with the graze of the face mask wasn’t a penalty. To me we cross the line sounding like whiners. There was one pressure on Brady where our player actually tackled him, and the refs didn’t call anything. -
A sampling of other QB’s early career stats
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am interested in the long haul. Allen is going to be good. He just needs time. He is our QB for the next 3 years at least, probably 4. So all of you better get use to that. I think and hope Allen is here for the next 15 years. Every game is a learning experience. I personally think Allen will be our Rodgers. He will win us a Super Bowl. -
You need three TE active at least. Knox, Sweeney, and Kroft would be my choice. Murphy has been a huge disappointment this year. No health issues we know of and he is just a non impact player. Heck he is the weakest link on the entire defense .

Yes or no answer please- will you keep coming here if the Pats season falls apart and they lose to the Bills in December? -
Did Jonathan Jones purposely take out Josh Allen?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hey pal, make sure you visit here all year. Can’t wait till 12/22. The reign is over. Brady is done. All Belichicks coaching won’t matter. I’d like to say I can’t wait to go to Pats boards once you start losing, but then nobody will be there. Biggest bandwagon fan base. -
Week 5: Bills (+2.5) at Titans
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if or what Belichick can share with his old player Vrabel? Belichick knows the Bills are a serious threat, I’d think he would want to see the Bill lose. -

USA Today?! Ok. I watch the Bills and do not need someone else to think for me. -
Have You Started To Lose Faith in Josh Allen?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are bringing up EJ Manuel’s name? Good lord. Allen is the answer. Nobody and I mean nobody is perfect. Allen I believe just played his 16th game in the NFL. He is progressing. Go back and watch anyone who you think is a great quarterback. They play bad games. They get better. No I am not the least bit concerned about Allen. He is young, he is emotional, and he wants to be great. Oh and he has more physical talent than any other QB in the game. Yesterday he was too emotional. I will concede that. I think that goes away as he is presented with the situation more. I also think the emotion points to what Allen wants, to win for himself, his team, and for us. Guys it is easy to beat up on Allen today. Allen isn’t why we lost that game. He finishes it and the Bills win it. -
Great presser. Sean did an excellent job of showing his frustration but staying under control.

I was up last night with a crying 7 week old baby boy, trying to get him back to sleep. Many of you know at that moment you are trying to do whatever you can to soothe the child while not losing your own sanity. My mind wandered to Allen. i know Allen makes great money and loves the game and everything else. I thought about how he was feeling at that moment. I hope Josh was able to get some rest and is feeling better. Of course I hope this as a fan but first and foremost as a person. Concussions can be horrible, keeping you up and giving you terrible headaches. At that moment money and fame doesn’t matter, just the pain. Get better big guy!
