  1. Abstract touchdowns are worth 6 points
  2. Gabe had one horrendous game late in the season where he dropped everything against one of the weaker opponents, maybe falcons or panthers
  3. a very common misconception that this was Montana’s last career game. Montana played in 94, they went 9-7 and lost in the wild card round.
  4. I would say yes. The franchise hung on by a thread in Buffalo in the 2010s through the sale. On thing that saved it was the strong following by nationally dispersed fans who valued continuity and keeping the team in Buffalo. The subtle but strong national following was largely due to the success of the 90s teams. Bad play in the 90s could have easily swing the pendulum in the opposite direction.
  5. The one week added to the season last year felt more like 5 weeks.
  6. Teams combined for ELEVEN turnovers in that super bowl. Should have awarded the trophy to no one.
  7. Kay is on GMFB today. I thought she quit.
  8. His “A Football Life” on the NFL Network is going to be must-see TV. Thank you for getting Brady out of the division with that win at the season finale 2019.
  9. League wants less, not more, short yardage collisions.
  10. Free CBS sports on Pluto is fine. Has all the basic highlights.
  11. He’s a totally different kind of pass rusher than Miller, so he’s not going to learn much from Miller except how to be a pro. Rousseau does not have any bend and is not quick off the ball. He’ll have to rely on his potentially elite power, reach and play reading ability.
  12. Everybody likes it. But the league will NEVER pass a rule leading to more injuries. Nor will the players sign off to such a rule.
  13. The team is better than in any of the last 30 seasons. But the AFC competition top to bottom, right now, is better than it’s ever been.
  14. Crazy wind tunnels at the Ralph. Won’t have this problem with the Tottenham half-roof.
  15. For a guy who could not throw 5 yards downfield, his stats were amazing his last year. If his arm healed a little, he’d probably be a top 10 qb in 2022 as much as I just want him stay stay retired.
  16. I don’t know why I thought it would be possible to catch the Browns early in the season with Brissett at QB. That’s not going to happen when you’re a must-see team.
  17. He’s almost 97 and sharp as a tack. Not going to question it.
  18. Surprised this was not factored into the recent franchise valuation list.
  19. Well they just announced Titans at bills Monday night week 2. A mini bye after week one???
  20. Drafted one pick after Von. Earned a $100M contract, pulled a Haynesworth, and miraculously Beane sold the contract to the Jags for a 5th, which was the beginning of the end for the Jags as a one year contender.
  21. We exhausted everything KC had, and they swooped in and took advantage. Everyone knows this, that’s why they have no respect.
  22. Doesn’t have much short range burst when you look at the tape. Seems a little Sillsian
  23. Great. The one good player left in the NFC.
  24. It’s impossible to “hide” a McDermott developmental DB. That’s the first place you look for a cheap serviceable DB now.
  25. From pro football network: In addition to rushing and pass-catching ability, the NFL evaluates running backs on their ability to block. Cook is an extremely willing blocker both in pass protection and as a run blocker. He’s routinely tasked with chip blocking, and there were multiple examples of him getting out in front and blocking downfield in the games studied. Furthermore, he routinely looks for work in this regard, demonstrating a level of football intelligence.
