I rated the edge rushers 1 chandler, 2 Miller, 3 Mack in terms of run stopping, recent production and injury-proneness. Would have preferred Jones, but am okay with miller.
They had a working formula last year but it just did not work. Not one of 7-8 guys was able to get to Mahomes the one time that was needed. Need to go all in for one big time pass rusher.
Last year we basically had seven or eight guys, including Obada, that could potentially get to the QB at the critical time and none got to Mahomes at the critical time. Need to sell the farm for chandler.
With the ACL it’s fair to conjecture whether Tre will return to true number 1 corner status. In fact penciling him as “above average” for 2022 would be fair.
I can’t believe the salary these guys get for being just slightly better than average, or below average like Collinsworth. Maybe it’s because it’s so easy to be horrendous at (Witten).
Kirk had only decent 4.47 speed out of the combine and is smallish, under 6’. He still went high in the draft second round. Anyone know why he went so high? It seems there is a lot of speed at WR available in the draft this year, so why not draft a WR much faster than Kirk.
I could not believe how incredible his pocket sensing ability was right from the start. A major ingredient to great quarterbacking and something the draftniks never keyed on. He has eyes in back of his head. He’s basically great at everything you can ask a quarterback to do.
There is no reason why Allen to Diggs can’t be better than Stafford to Kupp, especially since Allen is better than Stafford and Diggs is better than Kupp.
After the $100M training facility investment we’ve been the least injured team in the league. I want our guys at the training facility. Don’t fix what’s not broken.
It was actually a second that became a first because he played the requisite number of snaps. The unbelievable part is that he didn’t totally collapse until the last two games after the first round pick vested.
