  2. The lock upon my garden gate's a snail, that's what it is The lock upon my garden gate's a snail, that's what it is First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is The caterpillar sheds his skin to find a butterfly within Caterpillar sheds his skin to find a butterfly within First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain
  3. I worry about his long term health. He's made $53 Million playing football. I would love to see him on the field but I also believe the Bills were blessed to have him for the last seven years, he has given the Bills everything he has and its time to hang it up and enjoy life after football. He has a career as a game or studio analyst just waiting for him I bet...
  4. He caused us misery for years, but a lot of teams/players got Tom Braydy'd. Philip Rivers never made a Superbowl because of him. He probably stole a few more away from Manning and Big Ben. Later on, Rodgers got Tom Brayd'd as well. I agree with yes, but only to sell and make gwop, ya dig?
  5. People that don't tell the truth, often can't see it. It's not too late to work on yourself. I now actually feel bad for you.
  6. Look to me they ae too young to even read. For all they know, it could say free cookies.
  7. So where do you get your premium position difference makers if you don't draft them early? They don't hit free agency. They get their option picked up and/or they then get franchise tagged. If Josh Allen wanted to leave Buffalo he would have had to wait 7 years(option + 2 tags) or getting in a career-disrupting p!ssing match with the team most likely. So extending him after year 3 was pretty easy. Applies to stud pass rushers, LT's and WR's all the same. Excellent guards and safeties do hit free agency every year though. In fact, even an All Pro guards and centers sometimes hit free agency. But always lot's of good one's do. And 29 starting safeties were free agents this year. I think you've been paralyzed by over-analysis.
  8. I know a few posters who might be upset if we win the Superbowl because that would mean McDermott would not get fired. They hate him THAT much.
  9. You negotiate all of the above with SDS - he’s notoriously tight.
  10. yes, I agree, I was hoping the Bills would bring him back. He can still play, if not full time, and would be a great leader of this just-coming-together- secondary.
  11. Only on a written confession about how he cheated.
  12. The more learn about these players the more I like this draft. Coleman is still only 20 and was a part time player until what 2 years ago? A lot of people are screaming because his slow 40...Dude still returned punts!!! Still a lot of time to refine those skills...Bishop...May not internally start due to how complex the D is but would love to see him go against the conventional thought and see him develop into a stalwart FS ...Carter, at first I admit I wanted Franklin around here, but after learning more about this guy. I really like his potential, I think he's going to really be a player...Davis will play and often as a rb2...VPG I see a starting center and hopefully THIS year...Solomon an under sized pass rush specialist w/ bend and speed NCAA sack leader, Nice...Hardy...Punt returner /back up slot...The rest will fight for depth spots and the P/S...Clayton is a free extra roster spot

  14. It's a Bills message board. Just because a player is now on the roster doesn't mean that the merits of how he fits, his potential or the roster construction at large shouldn't be discussed. If you don't like certain topics, don't read the threads or respond to them. Like a rational, intelligent person would do. Just pretend you are if it doesn't apply to you. The content is not being broadcast directly into your head.
  15. They are playing the hell out of "checks notes", instruments.
  16. How many players did you want that we didn’t take, and now those guys suck? I’d bet a lot more than two.
  17. Does this job pay well? 401k Health insurance? Company car?
  18. This is the year to fix everything that has been wrong the last 6 years. Not all of it is on Beane and McDermott. Life has a way of forcing you into certain situations and the only way out of them is time. Next year we have the cap money and the true help is coming. But the turn around begins in 2024 (on a budget) and amplifies in 2025.
  19. I get what you’re saying. It’s just wrong. Teams that are willing to spend absolutely can afford to pay a top QB and a top WR. The Eagles are paying a QB and TWO WRs top money.
  20. Exactly. Problem LY, we didn't have a player who could win 50/50 downfield passes.
  21. I disagree if Cook put up over 1000 yards rushing and 500 -700 yards as a receiver you don’t just replace those kind of numbers with a late round pick or undrafted free agent ,
