  2. See. Now people are appreciating McDermott.
  3. But isn’t the victimhood narrative at the core of every political philosophy, even if the specter of oppression is simply one’s political opponent? My issue with your post is threefold: 1. Workers are most definitely the victims of wealth theft in the modern American economy. This should be so bleeping self-evident that I need not write a ten-paragraph treatise here on the twenty-first century revision of the classical economic Labor Theory of Value…though I will if you guys ask nicely… 2. MAGA is a cult-like establishment movement masquerading as a populist one because its acolytes can’t articulately identify their oppressors. 3. The actual far left (Bernie, AOC, etc.) hasn’t had any meaningful power in American national politics since the days of FDR. Getting back on topic…I like to fashion myself as an uber-rational politico who looks disdainfully down on any manner of conspiracy theory devoid of conclusive evidence. Two delightfully wicked exceptions: 1. The CIA killed JFK. 2. Mossad controlled Epstein, and they had dirt on members of both parties, politicians and megadonors, including Trump and Bill Clinton.
  4. Just wait until Brick takes over. We're good for 70 more years.
  5. As long as Woody Johnson owns the team then they will always be a clown show.
  6. It looks like a uniform they would put on an FX football movie.
  7. Both parties are complicit. Democrats spent 4 years doing nothing to release the files and now the republicans are following suit. Anyone who thinks otherwise and tries to make this a partisan issue is an absolute braindead moron who shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

  9. New Jets regime had every excuse they needed to trade them for assets before the players could ever demand one, just like when Beane came in and cleaned house. Not their guys, etc etc The whole building needs a reset, not overspending on keeping under-producing boundary players (even if they are very good). This doesnt make me any more worried about the Jets. The recent draft record is a fair point.
  10. If a production worker in Ohio is a loser in your mind, what would you consider a low level government employee in New York that spends large chunks of his workday arguing with strangers on the Internet? Rhetorical question.
  11. I’m talking about 2nd contracts, not draft status. I think they use a different scheme and don’t need a guy who commands $30mil+. As evidence I present the signing of Benford as our #1 CB at about half the price of Gardner. Sure, everyone would LOVE a lockdown CB, but I think they are happy with the approach they have shown us.
  12. These guys are already on the team and they don’t want them demanding trades when they draft a rookie QB high and start a rebuild. Theres nothing stopping the Jets from drafting a QB and then loading up on the lines next year now. They have an offensive and defensive cornerstone locked up for the foreseeable future. I think Sauce is supremely overrated and I thought he quit on the team last year. He’s still very good. Letting Wilson and or Sauce walk and then drafting their replacements high in the next year or two feels very drought Billsy. This is not ideal for the Bills imo.
  13. The Jets in recent drafts have been building the OL. Their DL is decent as well. They don't have a QB as Fields is on his 3rd team already. I guess the plan is to get one in the draft next year.
  14. Eh, not sure this is really accurate. The Bills drafted an elite CB in the first round and paid him elite CB money. They have spent 2 first round picks on CBs in the last 4 drafts to replace him. McD is very good at scheming up/hiding CB2’s. I think they really like uber expensive CBs if they are elite.
  15. why wouldn't they be released? Coaches decisions are explained after the game.
  16. He is holding wide receivers all the time! And when the refs start calling that his effectiveness goes way down
  17. Ehh, I dont think you build around WRs and CBs. If you arent going to have a QB, you start building the trenches imo.
  18. allen has a 6.25:1 TD/INT ratio in the playoffs brady is at 2.2:1 allen makes way fewer mistakes in the postseason than Brady
  19. I didn’t watch every snap or even every Jets game but I came away thinking that Gardiner was a player whose reputation was better than what I saw on the field. He didn’t exactly blow me away in year 3
  20. Am I crazy to think he's overrated? Am I also crazy to think he has an invisibility cloak that allows him to CONSTANTLY get away with committing holding and DPI penalties without the refs noticing? Is it because he has a cool nickname? If he was called Frank Smith, would he still get the accolades and the bag he just got? Whatever. Wake me when Woody Johnson is gone or they have a quarterback.
  21. I have to be honest that I chose an ebike before hitting Ventoux. It was difficult even with an ebike. I might still be pedaling with a regular road bike. One item I recall is how dry it seems going up that mountain and you have to continually drink a lot of water even though you may not be sweating much. I helped treat a couple of riders that collapsed when they reached the peak lookout. They were dehydrated. i have more respect for the condition the riders are in.
  22. GREAT news!!! I love seeing a divisional rival waste cap space like this on a corner. BRAVO!!! My thanks to the Jets GM!!!
