Tibs is the ultimate guy who knows just enough to be proud to be stupid, Galileo is certainly a time the Church failed but it has been correct much more often in promoting science and prosperity to the world. Galileo was 400 years ago and Christianity has done more to bring peace and prosperity to more of the world than any other religion, or do you want show some other religion that is so willing to allow others to keep their beliefs when they are in the majority?

https://www.newsweek.com/florida-rent-drops-people-flee-state-1901951 People are fleeing the state according to the headline, but they admit later on that the state is experience a net influx. Honestly I am assuming the lower cost is due to it being more one bedrooms vs larger apartments because I have spoken to several people who are still seeing increase in cost of anything decent. -

I like the 90 we have currently. Help at corner will come post June 1 with a veteran signing. Hopefully someone younger than Booker Eggerson (love you Booker!) There seems to be a real discount of Casey Toohill had 5.5 sacks in limited last year. Even DeShawn Williams had 4.5 in 22 playing some end. I see the Bills as sneaky good in this area; assuming natural growth from AJ and Groot. Miller is pure bonus and who knows Solomon may be a surprise contributor. I am already 100% in with our receiver group. More and more I see Samuel going back outside where he was very successful OSU and early in his pro career. Psyched for the season. I was watching x-files the night before the schedule came out. The resulting smoking man fueled paranoia has me convinced the league is doing its best to get the Jets a division title. Our schedule is brutal. Luckily they have Rodgers and we—-the Josh. -

My sons are both golfers and my middle, was on a highly competitive on a golf team through HS. im sure they can borrow my Dad’s clubs. My son Tyan will have to rent as he golfs as a lefty. just let me know where. We’ll be at my Dad’s in Hamburg. I wouldn’t mind hanging with the TBD crowd for a morning. -
Harrison Butker…oy vey…what a commencement “speech”
Bob Jones replied to eball's topic in Off the Wall
One thing that was very interesting to me was the NFL's need to come out with a (puzzling) response for this. First off, is there EVER a time when a player speaks on behalf of the NFL? Or for that matter, even on behalf of their respective teams? I don’t think so, although maybe somebody can correct me. Both the NFL and all teams have PR departments that speak for them. My belief is that players ALWAYS speak just for themselves. Secondly, the NFL made a point to say that they are "inclusive" to everybody. My reading of Butker's speech sees nothing that says certain people shouldn't be NFL fans, or NFL refs, or NFL/team employees. The main complaint was that he wants women to be "barefoot and pregnant, and in the kitchen." I'm pretty sure that even if the latter accusation was true (it's not), he'd still want them to be NFL fans, and watch games on Sundays, Mondays, Thursday, Saturdays, and Christmas, or buy NFL gear. LOL Also, you can opine that transgenderism is wrong and is a mental illness, but that doesn’t mean you dislike those folks, or that you don't want them to be fans. Finally, the biggest criticism of the NFL was that were very quick to respond to this while they stay silent on many other cases where their players are doing things FAR WORSE than what Butker did. IMO, that criticism is justly deserved. -

Kelce is a master at finding a soft spot in a zone defense... McDermott loves running a soft zone ... It's no surprise Kelce has good games against the Bills. -

Predictively I think you're right as I don't think they are gonna add another one. But I hope they do as I don't think the DE room is nearly good enough. Now admittedly I don't know who's out there in free agency now as I haven't really checked -

I can get on board with a pass rusher, but we all recognize that they let more physicality go in the playoffs, right? That doesn’t excuse our DL for never making a play. Chris Jones won the game for KC by beating Dawkins clean when Allen needed a split second more to hit Shakir for a TD. But overall, ever since that KC/Tampa Super Bowl, nobody really touches Mahomes in the Playoffs. CIN beat him in the postseason because Anarumo went mad scientist and out-schemed KC. -

That Goff contract was way higher than most thought he was gonna get and it screwed the phins big time. Goff was supposed to be on Cousins-tier, instead, he set the new top tier. Bravo Detroit. Lol.

I was there in ‘93, Chandler, for the first championship on home field (‘92 championship at Philly was unreal). I wish I had been there last night, but watched it on ESPN+. So happy for the team, the fans and the city. I have a church commitment today, will someone please go to the celebration at the plaza today at noon and have a beer for me? Thank you. Congrats on #6 in I believe 13 Finals, Banditland! -
Yea agree would be interesting. Boogie I think was just a flat out misevaluation. My theory is they needed edge badly that year and were talking themselves into guys to take at the end of round 1. They expected Groot to be gone and they were convincing themselves "there are still guys after Groot, Phillips and Paye (conensus top 3 that year) who can play." So they had grades on the 2nd tier edge guys that were artificially inflated because of their need. So when Boogie got to the end of round 2 he looked like he was sticking out, when in reality he shouldn't have been. Elam I think they thought they could take the clay and mould him to their scheme. Ultimately that has failed.
