  2. Think this is absolutely fair. Nabers, BTJ and Ladd had great rookie years but given we were talking ten in the first two rounds it hasn't quite lived up. Interestingly Corley (who I thought at the time was way overdrafted, never a day two pick for me) was WR11 at the top of the third round. I know the regime has changed but to be on the outs by the end of your second camp....... wowzers.
  3. Someone could go to ir.
  4. Just a thought- you don't have anything to prove on this tiny little corner of the internet. What you're coming around to is basically truth- Epstein was 'plucking' underage girls off of Trump controlled entities- there's really no debating this. BUT, what I believe is going on more and more is that the weaker-willed amongst us will generally side with what they believe is the 'winning' side. And in my lifetime I've never seen a political 'side' dominate the Executive, Judicial, and both branches of Congress simultaneously. It just hasn't happened. The good news for America is, unlike Russia, or The People's Republic of Shove That ***** Straight Up My Ass, we don't put up with this ***** for very long- we're not conditioned to accept it, and we're too varied to put up with it for very long. I fluidly consider this period akin to the Joseph McCarthy era. It'll take a battering ram for some of us to realize just how worse off they are becoming, but that battering ram is doing its work, and public opinion will change. General point- I applaud your willingness to point this all out, but like the old adage goes- make sure to secure your oxygen mask before taking care of others.
  5. This is a remarkable piece of history I stumbled upon while looking at old newspaper articles. The Buffalo Bills acquired Jack Kemp in September of 1962 due to a waiver mix-up by the San Diego Chargers. He was considered a "$50,000 property" at the time, but Buffalo obtained him for the $100 waiver fee and additionally had to win a coin toss vs. Texans, who also put in a waiver claim for Jack Kemp. Here is the article ... https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-buffalo-news-bills-steal-kemp-for-1/179809335/

  6. I mean, since Beane showed up, this is what Howie Roseman has had to work with in Round 1… 2019 - Andre Dillard (22) 2020 - Jalen Reagor (21) 2021 - Devonta Smith (10) 2022- Jordan Davis (13) 2023 - Jalen Carter (9) and Nolan Smith (30) 2024 - Quinyon Mitchell (22) Howie has picked high as often as he’s picked low, and has actually kind of sucked late. The blue chip guys were taken early. Ravens in the same timeframe 2018 - Hayden Hurst (25) and Lamar Jackson (32) 2019 - Marquise Brown (25) 2020 - Patrick Queen (28) 2021 - Rashod Bateman (27) and Odafe Oweh (31) 2022 - Kyle Hamilton (14) and Tyler Linderbaum (25) 2023 - Zay Flowers (22) 2024 - Nate Wiggins (30) Lamar and Flowers later in the draft surrounded by a bunch of crap or guys they moved on from, hardly blue chip. Hamilton was the top half of Round 1. Worth pointing out they opted for Hayden Hurst OVER Lamar Jackson with their original pick. Have you even done research or you’re just throwing ***** to see what sticks?

  8. I don't think it would be Hamlin. I think he's the first guy up after Rapp and Bishop. His contract is also guaranteed wherein a cut would cost them 750k on the general Cap and result in 2m in Dead Cap. I don't think it would be Ingram. We only kept Benford, White, Strong, and Ingram - which is generally the minimum for the Boundary. On top of that, it hasn't been said with 100% certainty that White will play Week 1. If he doesn't, that would leave us with just Benford and Strong Week 1. My money is on Cam. Like I said, they have to like what they've seen from Jordan Hancock who positionally is a clone of what Cam's been. Hancock covers that spot, Franklin covers Lewis on Special Teams, and cutting Lewis saves 1.76m on the Salary Cap - which would cover the 1.3m due on Franklin and then a little more.
  9. Gotts be for one of the DBs. Hamlin, Lewis, maybe Ingram.
  10. Here's to you, Tyrell "Earnie" Shavers.
  11. Questions I thought I’d never be asked for $200, Alex ……
  12. It's possible, but I wouldn't be too sure about that.
  13. I’m not sure if they’re necessarily an outlier here, but observing a nice little trend of this regime being able to develop talent on the practice squad. Cam Lewis (19-21), Ja’Marcus Ingram (22-23) and Tyrell Shavers (23-24) are examples of guys who have now spent multiple years on the Bills practice squad only to break through and make the 53-man roster. Alec Anderson and Ryan Van Demark spent all of 2022 on the Practice Squad. It’s what it is there for, would be very curious what this looks like for other teams since the size increases to 16 in 2020. EDIT: I’m going to dig into this out of personal curiosity. That being said, a quick glance at practice squads from 2020 - 2024 tells me that what the Bills have done with Lewis, Ingram and Shavers is actually somewhat unique.
  14. His history would suggest it's a practice squad offer....
  15. If it is a 53 man roster signing, i'd look at Cam Lewis as the guy out the door to make room. WR and Safety are the only spots where we're carrying more than the minimum. And if they feel good about Jordan Hancock stepping in right away and filling that backup Hybrid Safety/Nickel (which from what he's shown is likely) and Franklin taking his spot on Special Teams - cutting him would also save 1.76m on the Cap.
  16. That’s seriously amazing. what is it about cool bowling balls that make me have to c*ap?
  17. Is Ko Simpson available or is he still dealing with the police
  18. Your point being? What are you implying here? Help out a Bills brother and explain what you're talking about please.
  19. I do agree that it looks like he's going to the 53. However, we did play this game a couple days ago with Jordan Phillips. And like Phillips, Franklin is a vested veteran (I actually made the mistake of thinking he wasn't in another post) - that is not subjected to Waivers. So it could be a Practice Squad signing. If it is a 53 signing, I'd look at WR or Safety to make room for him. Those are the only spots on the roster where we're carrying more than the minimum. Cam Lewis could be the guy out if they feel good about Jordan Hancock stepping in right away and filling that backup Hybrid Safety/Nickel and Franklin taking his spot on Special Teams. Cutting him would also save 1.75m on the Cap.

  22. That's what I'm pinning my hopes on. I'm sure front offices saw VanDemark against the chiefs and Anderson in his year as 6th OL. Grable is concerning. He sounded like a potential starter, until this long recovery concussion.
  23. Holy smokes this season of hard knocks has been the most boring ever.
  24. I feel like they show more on embedded than they are allowing HBO to show 😂
