  1. Past hour
  2. If sportsbooks want to run ads fine, I just hate how much gambling has become a part of broadcasts. I don't care to hear what parlay Terry Bradshaw has cooked up in the pregame show, or for the announcers to give me the updated live odds throughout the game.
  3. Yes, it’s just a matter of time before some players start to throw games in various ways,
  4. There's absolutely no circumstances where you can call a communist a commie. Right RoundyMao?
  5. I don’t understand. You “can’t be bothered…”? Are you in surgery?
  6. True. It's not we are gambling thousands of dollars here. We have about 30 people. Its $85 to enter for the year. If you win one week you win $100. Nothing crazy but makes the season more fun. One year I won both the halftime and final score of the Super Bowl pool. Won $550 that day. That was a fun day to come to work
  7. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nhl/nhl-expansion-race-reportedly-adds-fifth-american-city-to-list-of-contenders/ar-AA1HDrxk Five American cities in the running to get the two expansion teams in the NHL wants to have.
  8. can we talk about how a d ick is allowed to use josh allens likeness also lib t ards have been using the billionaire bs for decades... it's such a cheap but effective way to rein in losers- handout hungry voters.
  9. Not sure you can call the company office pool gambling. Technically yes, a problem no..
  10. With the exception of QB, the Eagles have a better team than the Bills.
  11. Gambling has been around forever. Why would it ruin the NFL now. I have been in my company's office pool for a long time now. We also do a Super Bowl pool every year. It's fun and it makes the games you don't really care who wins more interesting if you have money on it.
  12. Okay. That wasn't on the stat I saw but I did think he must be up there somewhere. I remember a few of those Saints - Eagles battles.
  13. Mamdani said it, then wrote it down in a flyer but we are going to pretend he doesn't mean it.
  14. If the thread has a dramatic title from a progressive troll, it must be exactly true as is and not exaggerated in any way at all.
  15. Who knew markets had ups and downs? This guy made his money back and then some. Whew! Winning! Let’s check back in around Dec 31.
  16. Mafia Con Not really my cup of tea, but looks like they’ve gotten a good haul of players who will show up. Right before camp starts.
  17. Today
  18. Yup. Some Americans think anything that happens in ‘merica means more because it’s ‘merica, despite the fact that the rest of the world has somehow been able to handle legalized gambling on sports.
  19. And then, as Andrew Sullivan (definitely gay, will leave it to you to determine if he’s self-hating) writes, the TQ2SIA+ people ruined it all. fine that this guy is “not embarrassed to admit who he is”. There’s zero need to honor it for a second, let alone a month. Nobody is stopping you though.
  20. It won't ruin the NFL or sports but it will ruin many people and their families. There should be some control: 1. Ban advertising for gambling the same way it is banned for cigarettes. This has the added advantage of not having to see Kevin Hart every 10 minutes. 2. Ban the use of credit cards for gambling. This is already true in the UK and many states. 3. Ban gambling in any event that already started. This means when an addict loses a prop bet they at least have to switch to another game to get their fix.
  21. Gambling just part of sports culture. Hell people be gambling at pee wee football games lol
  22. I don’t know why any emerging QB would not want to emulate the best QB in the NFL for the last 20 years.
  23. Sean Payton has 6 wins against Andy Reid FYI.
