Game week thread - Ravens at Bills SNF
Mikie2times replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
As much as I give him crap that I don't think he can do it, it would be even better if he is the one. He's earned it no doubt, but so have all of us after all that's happened. -

They actually weren't count on Alexander. We signed Awuzie to be CB2. They gives us Wiggins and Awuzie outside and Humphrey in the slot. Once Alexander became available it was Lamar who was Alexander's teammate at Louisville who talked him into coming. Alexander was more of a luxury than a necessity. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - On the Eve of the 2025 Season
BigAl2526 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've never been a season ticket holder. For one thing, my career did not make a season ticket a sensible option. I was a church pastor for 40 years, serving churches that were too far from the stadium to make a 1 PM kickoff. Nowadays, my health and my retirement income level combine to render a season ticket a foolish expenditure. I'm no less interested in the Bills, though. I am a diehard fan and will be until the administrators here get word that I died. -

I thought he was next to Try Johnson in line dancing footage - if so that is a good sign.

What is your X-Factor(variable) for the Bills this year?
BillsPride12 replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Keon Coleman is another good one. Kincaid to an extent as well. Guess I glossed over these guys because even if they don't elevate their level of play this season I still think the Offense will be good enough like we saw last season. But yeah Coleman is a great answer -

My fantasy team name is going to change weekly based on the bills opponent. This week, the name is "Josh is Lamar's Daddy" -
Also needs to tuck that thing in, might get caught on a trip wire.

Tommy Boy reference. Josh is a movie buff as am I!

Yea we'll keep harping on the Lamar turnovers and ignore the 5 drop passes and the Andrews fumble. Sunday will be here soon enough. Maybe they'll have an answer for Lamar this season because they didntblast season. Is that the time it took to... nevermind. -
It had to be after. There was a scene where he was on the field but not dressed or practicing. They showed him participating in most everything else, though. Didn't show his lower leg to know if he was wearing anything like a cast. Also didn't show him walking much to see if there was a limp, but didn't look like it.

The CDC’s in-your-face double standards lost America’s trust — winning it back will be tough By Glenn H. Reynolds Once again, our governing “elites” are illustrating their cluelessness about just how low the public’s opinion of them has sunk, and why. The latest example involves Demetre Daskalakis, former director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, who rage-quit his post last week after his bosses, noting the pandemic “emergency” is long over, ended special rules allowing for broad use of the COVID-19 shot. “This is where fascism lives,” Daskalakis angrily declared as he and other Centers for Disease Control officials stalked off their jobs. “Fascism” seems to be this administration’s most over-diagnosed ailment, applied with abandon to anything the left doesn’t like. But Daskalakis’, uh, fevered response is exactly what you don’t want from a public health official. In fact, given widespread public doubts about the COVID jab and the general debacle of the CDC’s COVID response, the last thing we need is a hysterical and politically extreme figure in charge of immunizations. https://nypost.com/2025/09/02/opinion/the-cdcs-in-your-face-double-standards-lost-americas-trust/ .

Trump Health Issues
The Frankish Reich replied to Roundybout's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You know who agrees with you? Trump himself. But he's afraid to say it out loud (he slipped up last week) because he doesn't want to lose that 2% who are anti-vaxx voters. And he really doesn't want to fire RFK Jr, which would just embolden him to take his 2% and launch an RFK 2028 campaign. Because it's all about winning. Not about good public policy. Well, that hand is rather puffy, no? Is that his hand-shaking hand or his carrot-waxing hand? Or both? -
Another meh episode in my opinion. Kinda glad this is over now to be honest. No talk about Turkey Burgers and no golfing at Oak Hill major missed opportunities

So were the Tre clips before or after the injury?

Finally some requisite shots of the Falls, but isn't it law you need to pair that with wings being tossed at anchor bar? Guess they like the only two captains they started last year "Head Coach Sean McDermott stated that the team felt a smaller group of captains, supported by a 10-player leadership council, was a better fit for the team's needs."

Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
mikemac2001 replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’s here to train and recover at the facility that’s why they signed him. I don’t believe this affects so why does it matter. if we need a WR later in the year we have a decent number 4/5 who can make big plays and run blocks people think we signed him to a big deal or traded for him. There are only 300ish players who could be on rosters he is probably one of them healthy -
I'll describe it in different terms. It felt like finding a jacket/pair of pants/etc that used to be your favorite but haven't worn them in so long that they just felt off. That's how it felt to me.

Let me get this straight when I point out how other than 2 plays the Bills didn't have an answer for Lamar, its but but the t he 2 turnovers. Now that we are talking about the Josh we gotta look at the whole body of work. Do you see the irony in that? -

NewEra replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Per usual- certain players being healthy for the playoffs. One of those players this season, is Joey Bosa. If he’s firing on all cylinders for playoff games, I think we’ll be champs. He turned 30 in July and, imo, is the X-Factor that we’ve been missing since that fateful thanksgiving day in 2022
