  1. Past hour
  2. Well, I think I said just that in my post, your first sentence.. But, have patience.... Because if this run defense does not improve, soon and dramatically, (and Tre White ever covers a fast wideout again), what you say in your last sentence may be coming soon too. We have seen the beginnings of that in the high completion percentage of QBs. Because if the Bills can't stop the run with their lineman, they will need to change their pass defense too.
  3. I want that to be true but it’s certainly not showing up in the stats. He has one tackle for all the playing time he’s had thus far. Jordan Phillips, who was just called up and played in one game, has the same amount. Walker on the other hand has made a noticeable difference and impact with similar playing time.
  4. Efficiency and government should never be in the same sentence.
  5. He and Ty Johnson have definitely not looked as good so far, but I think that is primarily due to a lack of snaps and in preseason there really weren't many holes. I do think that he and Ty look more hesitant, I wouldn't give up on them yet.
  6. Wow what a nightmare! These people. They’re only going to get dumber. There is nowhere left for them to go. Idiocracy actually turned out to be a cautionary tale about the Democrat party and their voters.
  7. Coaches need players. The Tenn offense was built around "pick your poison". Run over you with Derrick Henry; if you sell out to stop Henry, throw over the top to AJ Brown. Replacing AJ Brown with Bobby Trees absolutely lopped off one of their main branches (see what I did there?) and losing their starting QB 6 games in to 2023 sealed the deal. Vrabel absolutely got screwed on personnel by his GM and we have to mind that.
  8. I’d be all about this if he still has it Or the packers who draft a couple every year…
  9. Agree. Outside of Lamar, the Bills franchise has always struggles against rushing QB's and good to great Tight ends. Its like it is in the DNA of the franchise. Go back to Blake Bortles in the Jags playoff game...arghh he passed for 87 yards and rushed for 88!
  10. Can’t really fault the defense against Baltimore in the playoffs tbh…I think they rescued the offense both times. The other ones are fair though
  11. Peter Drucker: "There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently what should not be done at all" .
  12. So Ray Davis said he dropped about 15 lbs and wanted to be more elusive. However, that is not what brought him to the big leagues and so far this year we are seeing a much less productive Ray Davis. In the preseason he looked awful and so far this year he has looked awful. So I am curious as to if the staff will use a call up soon on Frank Gore Jr, put him in Davis role, make Davis inactive and see if that is an upgrade. We have 3 call ups, so at one point would you say, ok let's see what Gore can do for us this year? After all, Gore ran behind the same backups that Davis did in preseason and looked much better. Goes stats in 2025 11 carries, 29 yards, 2.6 yards per attempt. We will need someone to spell Cook... So if you had a say, would you give Gore a call up and make Ray inactive to see if this helps. And if so, how long a leash are you giving Davis before you do this? https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/gamelog/_/id/4429501/ray-davis We can't expect Cook or any running back to have almost 400 touches....
  13. I think the Bills broke them week one
  14. Did he contract AIDS? Was this our staff giving him the Epenesa make over? If not, did he inform the team? Its bizarre. Limited plays, but he looks slower, which doesn't make sense for dropping weight. Wtf happened here??? Buffalo blow isn't even any good, and i don't think hes that type of dude either
  15. It's not the coach... It's the young secondary, specifically the safeties. Less coverage disguise + soft defense = more break, especially on third down. That said, they can and will get better over time. The goal is to win for now and to peak at the end of the season.
  16. But he didn't win a "HIMMY" award yet, so he sucks
  17. I still say, "Let 'em walk" Don't give in and then let the other players think they can 'hold us hostage too' Easily replaceable Dime a dozen Be crazy to play a running back who cannot pass block Davis will do just fine, just as well We should not be running this much anyway, need a passing game to finally fix this awful offense... Trade him for a 3rd round draft pick. Or a 4th if that is all we can get. NEVER pay a running back, ever... Etcetera One day when I have some time I will go back to a Cook thread or so and have some real fun..
  18. Efficient government benefits everyone. Not this let's fire everyone then hire most of them back cause we dont know how to do anything BS.
  19. Hey westy, do you want a shovel with a longer handle? I’m thinking you’re gonna need it…,
  20. 17th right now, looks like.
  21. Hendrickson just signed a deal, was it a pay bump just for this season? Maybe we can interest them in some kind of combo of: draft pick(s?), Trubisky, Epenesa, Alec Anderson. Just riffing names/positions i think they could possibly have an interest in? Obv some of those names are more valuable than others, so the draft pick from us would be of a sliding value, depending.
  22. Carolina ran all over the Pats on the first 2 drives of the game, then were shut down almost completely with everything they tried. Pats also shut down the Steelers run game the week before and held them to 200 yards total offense, which was more impressive. In their first 2 games vs LV and Miami, they got run on pretty good. They have a very good front 4 of Barmore, Tonga, Milton Williams, and Harold Landry (none of them played last year for NE), and good depth rotating in. They're a real team compared to the last few years. Will likely win 9-10 games.
  23. When an illegal receives health care at an ER due to a serious accident - MRI, then say surgery, etc……who’s paying for that?
  24. I'm not sure what some youse expect anymore. They're winning games and there's so much "yeah, but..." about everything. They have flaws like any team. Offensively I feel like they have the best of both worlds right now. Jimbo and the OL are killing it and have created one of the best rushing attacks in the league. And then if they struggle with the run there's this Jorsh Allen guy at QB, handsome, 6'5", rocket for a right arm, you know, that fella is pretty good. He can sling it to a pretty diverse group of skill players who can have their number called at anytime. I don't much care that they don't have a "true #1 WR" or if the plays aren't exciting enough, or even if some of the play calls have seemed a little wonky, they're winning games. And despite some folks thinking they should just be obliterating every opponent, I guess they need reminded that most opponents are also comprised of professional players, a lot of whom have something to prove and especially wanna show that against a perennial contender like the Bills. They're always gonna get everyone's best shot. Most teams are gonna play inspired football against the Bills. Except maybe Miami. For years now it looks like their team spirit is about as lively as a little worm danglin' on a hook in some little Florida pond. I'm sure we'll see plenty more exciting plays. I think we also might see a fair amount of games where most starters are punched out and kicked back on the bench early in the 4th quarter.
  25. I was originally thinking that this might be close, or even a Pat*s win. The mroe I think about it, the more I'm convinced that the Bills are going to win big: Bills: 34 Pat*s: 10
