In reading the entire article, I do agree that the players should also have to provide suggestions as to how they would improve the situation. Giving a grade without context doesn't help improve things. -
Week 11, Bucs v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
Ridgewaycynic2013 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
After short routes the last few weeks, WRs either get winded or pull up lame. At wits end, strength and conditioning coaches break out their pistols. 😳 -

Awesome! Only players who look relatively questionable to play are Shakir and Lewis! -

Well it’s not right that some teams pamper their players more than others. -
My apologies if this been posted here previously. Greg Cosell discusses the reasons he sees watching the tape why Buffalo’s pass game has issues starting around the at the 8min 15sec mark. Partial summary..l “I think the concepts, for NFL standards, are somewhat elementary. I don’t think they do a lot of things, in terms of their concepts and their route combinations. And I think that, when you combine that with the fact that Josh Allen, at times, and he’s always been like this, he will leave the pocket prematurely, and not neccessarily trust the process, and deliver the ball within structure uh, that is presented, however basic it is, then you get a combination that just makes it difficult for a pass game to have consistency.” He goes on to discuss that you still can do a lot of things tactically, even without great receivers with rooute concepts and combinations…

Are people being sarcastic, of have people seen enough of Keon over the last year and a half to know not to expect too much from him? No matter how weak people think the Bucs are outside, they are All Pros compared to what Miami trotted out last week. And even then, and then force feeding him opportunities....he was still largely unimpressive. It hardly knee jerk to think he won't produce Sunday. It's actually the safe bet.

I can’t imagine him being up already. Not this coach. He will have guys that have been here all offseason red shirting for no reason I don’t share the same concerns about the offense with everyone. It absolutely blows my mind that this defense has sucked non stop for half a decade and you get nothing but excuses. The offense can’t have 2 bad days in 2 years or it’s a 24/7 conversation. How did the defense get this exemption? You just flat out suck. Kill us, knock us out of the playoffs every single year FFS….nothing but excuses. The offense has a bad day and we are scrapping the whole thing -
I think both things are true. Allen shares some of the blame. But whatever the reason, we know it's not working. I want palmer and Gabe starting at outside wr for a few weeks. If there's big improvement then it is what it is. I honestly think Keon needs to reset regardless. There's also probably some nuance of the wr position that is above my head that keon is not picking up on. In the Steve Smith video for example when Keon Coleman was lining up he was not even looking at the defender whether he was far off or up close or his body language at all so when he caught the ball he was almost anticipating like he was going to get hit right away when nobody was there... those are the intricacies of the position at wide receiver that I think a lot of us are not noticing that Keon is failing in.... This is also something that falls on McDermott as a head coach though

Many are overly fond of Daboll. He had a horrible track record as OC pre-Josh. Daniel Jones is having a career resurgence after leaving Daboll. Daboll had success here because he had prime Josh, prime Diggs, and prime Beasley.

The first thing we have to do is swallow the pride and scrap this constant nickel and make sure we stop the run. If we can’t stop the run, Tampa is going to kill us. I’m not worried about our WRs, I’m not worried about our offense. They have more than earned the benefit of the doubt from me. The bills need to change the course here and stop the run. These TB RBs will kill us if we don’t make it difficult. It won’t get the attention it deserves but that is priority number 1. If we can’t stop them from running I like our chances. -
Shhhhhhh we have to go from the narrative that Keon is slow and can't separate because there's no way our GOAT QB can have an off day. We need a scape goat and the majority have chosen to make Keon just that.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?
Alphadawg7 replied to jaybeezee's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gruden? I don't get the infatuation with this guy. He was fired in TB because he lost the locker room. Him and his bone head GM made god awful decisions and choices in his last stint with the Raiders, and he hasn't had very many double digit win seasons. Im a hard pass on Gruden. A guy who would be very high on my list and very realistic if a change was ever made is: Brian Flores. This guy got more out of his rosters than most, he knows defense (our biggest achiles heal in the playoff losses), and is just a great coach in my eyes. Higher the right OC to pair with him, and this is the kind of coach that could really impact this team. I don't want to hear about "he is a defensive HC" nonsense, so is Vrabel and he is again killing it as a HC. And quite honestly, we are the best in the NFL since Josh arrived at scoring points, we suck at preventing points in the post season though. Also, I would be up for Belichick if he can also lure McDaniels to join him here. -
UB Basketball: 13 wins the last 2 years, just upset Big East DePaul
Augie replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall
I wouldn’t get too excited over this particular victory. DePaul was 0-20 last year in the Big East, and 3-29 overall. They are horrible at basketball and the embarrassment of the Big East. Having said that, I’d love it if UB could have a good program for a while. It’s only for a while mind you, because as soon as your coaching is doing well he gets to step up in level of play and salary. Unless you are a blue blood like Kansas, Duke or UNC, you are always on the verge of having your coach poached for the $$$. -
