I think we were without both Rapp and Benford last year. KC typically comes into that game missing a backup DT or something.
-
First day of camp for the line. vs a sturdy interior is a good test for him. All three interior starters anchor well. Not getting rooted out is an improvement vs previous year’s DT depth. Il reserve judgement until the pre season is completed.

The concern about Walker as a run stopping 1 tech is that his size is mostly north of his waistline. He's not a typical big Dlineman with a thick lower body to give him a solid anchor. He moved around on the Dline at Kentucky playing most of his reps as a 3 tech. His strength is unusual agility for a big guy, not his ability to get low and get physical. -
Judicial Insurrection: Activist (Marxist) Federal Judges

MORE on the above Judge Enters New Order in Planned Parenthood Funding Case, and It May Be the Most Insane Yet Boston-based U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani has entered another ruling against the congressional defunding of Planned Parenthood, and this order may be the most insane yet. I don't just mean that in terms of this specific case, but in terms of the entirety of the judiciary since President Donald Trump began his second term. As reported, Talwani originally put in place a temporary restraining order while giving no reason to do so, violating the law in the process. With that, she sided with the plaintiffs and told the Trump administration it must keep providing Medicaid funds to members of the abortion mill's network. After a week, the judge finally got around to offering a reasoning, amending her TRO to claim that Congress defunding Planned Parenthood likely violated the First and Fifth Amendments. Even putting aside the absurdities involved in those claims, Talwani also clearly overstepped her bounds by providing standing to plaintiffs who didn't qualify. {snip} I think a lot of people would disagree with that assessment, but it would also seem to be irrelevant. What does access to contraceptives and a supposed "increase in unintended pregnancies" have to do with the legal questions at play? You can see Talwani's biases on full display throughout this injunction. Regardless, the viewpoint discrimination angle remains arguably ridiculous. It's one thing to make such a decision regarding an executive order, as those could theoretically violate laws passed by Congress. So it's at least conceivable that viewpoint discrimination could exist in a scenario where a president denies funding to an entity on political grounds that was receiving money already appropriated to it by Congress. But in this case, it was Congress that defunded Planned Parenthood. Are we to believe that if any political opposition exists to a private entity, then elected representatives, who constitutionally control the power of the purse, can't end funding for it? That's absurd on its face, and if that standard were consistently applied, it would mean essentially nothing that an opposing party disagrees with could ever be defunded. Does that sound right to anyone? https://redstate.com/bonchie/2025/07/28/judge-enters-new-order-in-planned-parenthood-funding-case-and-it-may-be-the-most-insane-yet-n2192170 -

It didn't really become bad. It's mostly the same show. Just with different personalities and pundits. What killed Sports Center was that if you really wanted to watch highlights in the 1990's or into the 2000's you couldn't find those highlights anywhere else but aggregated on SportsCenter. Now if you want to see highlights you can go to 30 different sites and get a bunch of different versions of highlights and punditry. Sports Center was never really known for it's hard hitting punditry. It was always a Whittman Sampler of Sports when that was the only place you could get it. -
Probably not this year; he needs to put some more mass on that big frame and master the offense. But I'm getting the sense that McDermott is finally getting a bit tired of Anderson's dumbassery. He actually threw him out of practice the other day.

I think its mostly all tick tack stuff and early camp precautionary moves more than anything. I don't think there are too much to be concerned about in terms of the injuries reported and would bet most would play if there was a game this week. Especially going into the first day with pads on. -
Probably why he missed 50% of his FG tries yesterday

Exactly, its a click bait headline and McD made it sound like it was just a common got a little banged up on a rep yesterday when he hit the ground. Nothing about it sounded like anything other than a common cautious move from general knicks guys get in camp. To paint it as if its directly tied to last year without knowing it is was just irresponsible reporting for the sake of attention. Could it be - sure - but nothing reported on it thus far suggests it is. -

In 2023 I think that was a big reason. However, I think 2023 the Bills got ***** by the field not being heated and the fact that the Bills didn't get a chance to rest starters week 18. KC had their division and seeding clinched and they got the pesudo bye week in week 18 and came into the playoffs very healthy. They also had a heated field so despite the game against Miami being super cold their field was much better and they got less injuries. The Bills had the massive snow storm and a bad icy field against the Steelers and had a bunch of injuries that game. The team also had to play week 18 so more wear and tear going into the playoffs. Then of course the Bills had 2 days less rest going into that game and it was all sorts of *****. 2024 the only injury was Benford which was a very fluky thing while KC had injuries. I think the difference for that game was that the Bills were away and got a bunch of borderline calls and a few outright bad calls go against them. -
A new q loser. Just what we need…meanwhile rfk jr is about to fire the member of USPSTF who are some of the most respected docs in their areas. Because he doesn’t like science. He likes swimming in fetid streams and claiming brain worms. But remember. When you get sick try some crystals, a diet change and some homeopathy. Don’t bother those stupid md’s you despise. Also, don’t bother buying insurance.

Any updates on Landon Jackson? I've heard next to nothing about his performance in camp thus far.

Fair, but a big reason we never get past KC is our injury list vs theirs.
