But you didn’t prove that. All you did is show that you are ridiculously impatient (taking a victory lap after 2 games), and are blaming Ben Johnson for a roster he didn’t build.

saw what coming? the wave of of homosexual crime? my point of all of this is to show how maybe your feeds, your social media, etc is really starting to pick away at you. look at of the to do about one poster. one poster that almost no one will likely notice, unless someone is looking for a controversy. being upset over this is to me becoming the new group of snowflakes.

Week 3 Survivor Pool.......who ya got??

As long Rattler is starting on the road for the saints it’s Seattle all day -
Rams was a relocation fee, not new franchise fee. The average team valuation in 2023 when the Commanders were bought for 6B was 5.1B. All values go up each year. So...7B is the most common figure sited in search.. The last new franchise in the NFL was 23 years ago. Pegula bought the team over 10 years ago--and obviously the price he paid had nothing to due with the AVERAGE team valuation, as the Bills had the lowest team value at that time.

Feels like Derrick Henry has that many against the Bills alone, but I like your point!

Ben Johnson?? Ben Johnson?? LOL

You guys have gone way too far into the weeds on this thread. The purpose of the original post and follow up is to demonstrate Ben Johnson is NOT the answer to the Buffalo Bills / McDermott when you consider McDermott's record as head coach and players genuinely enjoy playing for him. Vs. Those on this Board who were clamoring for BJ last season because he was a "genius". 31 other teams would be on the phone to hire McDermott immediately if he was let go. -
I watched both Bears games, and aside from not telling his kicker to kick the ball out of bounds (which he should have done), the losses were certainly not on Ben Johnson. 1) Caleb Williams just isnt that good yet (if he ever will be). 2) The Bears roster is rough at several positions. So you speaking of the nice situation he had in Detroit is ironic, because if we are having this conversation in the context of what he could have done in Buffalo, it would be wise to mention that he would have had an equally rich situation in Buffalo as he did in Detroit, thanks to Josh Allen (who is worth about 5x what Goff is) and James Cook. That being said, I never wanted McDermott fired ,so its a moot point. But your argument doesnt hold water.

More in the sense that I don’t trust guys like Milano and Johnson to stay healthy. Just seems like we have a bunch of guys on the Back 7 that hold a 20% chance every game, to miss the next game.

I'm torn between saving the Bills for later, or just going with this one. I feel like if the Bills keep winning, they may eventually get tripped up by a team that should be an easy win.

One thing is for sure: GM Beane has to go heavy on defense again in next Summer's draft and free agency. -

Any concern about the visor causing some glare and vision differences for Josh? Simply, he's not use to it and IMO it has to cause some differences for him. -
Who he is is this: Goff with Rams (5 years): 42-27, 18171 yards, 107 TD, 55 INT, 63.4%, rating 91.5 Stafford with Rams (5 years): 36-23, 15243 yards, 98 TD, 45 INT, 65.9% rating 95.6 Goff with Detroit: (5 years): 40-26, 17446, 121 TDs, 40 INT, 68.3%, rating 101.2.

This is exactly the sort of word salad you'd expect from a very intelligent person who can't figure out why they suck. -
Josh will be wearing a visor this week
hondo in seattle replied to UConn James's topic in The Stadium Wall
We wore leather helmets back when I played football (or something like that) - a great thing because, as a receiver and safety, I hated anything obscuring my vision even in the smallest way. Weirdly, I had poor eyesight and wore glasses yet I didn't like wearing glasses in games because I didn't like the rims obstructing my sight. A visor would have driven me crazy with the hint of glare. So I'm glad for #1 because Josh has already adjusted to the way the visor affects his vision. #2 and #3 remain problems. But I don't think heat or reverberation will bother him when he's in the pocket, scanning the field, in the flow, and entirely focused on the play. -
This, more than anything, tells you what Lions players think of Ben Johnson

We have a mini bye coming up and then another in a few weeks. Perhaps everything works out for the stretch after that. So far, nothing looks long term. -
Any thoughts on Dorian Williams about to be starting again?
Beck Water replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kirby, respect your ball knowledge, but Williams had an 11 game chance last season and he didn't "take off" as far as I can tell. Bills were still adjusting their D to cover for him. He's athletic and he can *thump*, but as someone said upthread: "when he can play a downfield, attacking style he's a playmaker. But when he has to read and react, he's illiterate." Bernard had a much better year in 2023. Why? Well, in 2023, Bernard started next to Milano and looked great for 4 games. After a 2 game Dorian Williams experiment, the Bills started Dodson platooned with Poyer on passing downs. Dodson not nearly as athletic as Williams, but could read and react. That's one difference. Last year IMO, Bernard spent 12 games thinking for 2 people, himself and Dorian Williams. He's a quiet guy who takes responsibility on himself, but when Milano came back he said something that I thought spoke volumes. It was something like "it's nice to play next to someone who sees the game the same way I do." But then Milano was rusty AF and many thought Williams had been playing better, so there was that. I think Williams has improved, but curious how many games we need to see this "taking off" phenomenon? He looked fine against the Jets, but their QB didn't seem to make us have to think too much. -
That run against SF in the snow last year is up there.
