McDermott giving his younger brother a job -
1. Yeah, he probably should have - at least for the last TO. Just to take the Bills out of their rhythm if nothing else. 2. It’s hard to make that call in the heat of the moment. It’s a rare enough scenario that Harbaugh may have never seen it before. 3. If Harbaugh took the first 2 right away then waited on the 3rd, the Bills probably would’ve had Allen take a shotgun snap, roll right, and huck the ball into the 200 level. That would both stop the clock and run off more time. Best case for the Ravens is 1 play from scrimmage. 4. If Harbaugh waited on the first or second TO, the Bills would’ve still had extra downs to play with. They could’ve run the play from #3 or spikes to stop the clock at a time of their choosing.

Josh can throw an incomplete pass any time to stop the clock before the field goal attempt -

Bernard and Milano both lost every battle with every blocker they saw. I'm pretty sure I saw Bernard's feet come off the ground as he was lifted up and moved by his blocker more than once. -
Hahahahaha. I love it! It's perfect!

How much better is the Ravens team on paper than the Bills?
Buffalo716 replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just said the style of the offense they run is gimmicky It's heavy play action centric and option centric ... The bills from behind doesn't hurt the offense as much because Josh Allen can take over a game with his arm... Lamar down 15 doesn't have that arm talent ability to consistently win from the pocket without the threat of a running game.. Derrick Henry and heavy play action opens up Lamar Jackson's passing more Josh Allen lines up in pro style sets, takes 3-5 step drops throws 25-30 times a game Lamar might throw 25-30 times but he's not lining up in pro style offense and just taking 3 step drops and slinging it consistently that's the difference between the offenses and the QBs... Both are insanely talented... Josh can use his arm to come back down double digits without the threat of a running game easier Lamar Jackson is not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady he's not a field general and Josh Allen is becoming that... You'll never see Lamar Jackson make that throw that Allen made to Palmer -

If I'm Bean, I'm calling up other teams right now and do a "Hockey Trade". Give me a starting vet S or CB and I'll give you a starting player that you need. Hell, I'll even throw in a fourth rounder. I don't know, but this secondary looked like a college team out there. Salary Cap $, yeah yeah, I get it, but I would be looking to upgrade this Swiss cheese secondary D as soon as possible. -

Milano played like he aged 10yrs this offseason -
As great as the game was, I don't know if it warrants a name. The Comeback, 13 Seconds, The Homerun Throwback - those were all playoff games. This game, arguably, wasn't as meaningful and won't be as memorable. But if I had to name it, I'd riff off the previous suggestions: The 15-716 Game.

Some people will disagree.. but I think the Ravens played their A- game on Sunday night. Other than the first drive and the final 4:50 of the game they were superb. The Henry fumble and the poor coverage at the end doomed them. On the flip side I feel like the Bills played mostly a C+ game till the final 4:50. They were gashed and dominated in the trenches on D. For a huge chunks of the game the O was contained. Bottom line, if/when they meet again in January I think Buffalo will give us their A game and this narrative that the Ravens have such better players will be proven to be nonsense. -
I hope they spent part of the 3 hours telling Walker to block inside-out on field goals.

I think that is McDermott's illegitimate love child. Somebody get a bucket hat on him before he burns. -
Josh's pass to Palmer that (more or less) won the game

Wasn't aware the Chiefs, Lions, 49ers, Jaguars, Cardinals, Seahawks or Titans were in the division who they also hung 30+ on and 3 of those 40+ on. I mean, you have a coach so desperate to not give Allen the ball back he tries an onside kick with 12+ minutes left in the 4th quarter. -

I hope the front office is talking about how to improve decision making on when to challenge and not challenge calls this week. We were not good at that last year. I assume someone is in a booth watching video and radioing to McD on whether to throw the challenge flag or not. But we made a big error that fortunately didn't affect the outcome of the game by not challenging where the ball was spotted on that Josh run and slide. An area the team can very much improve on that doesn't involve any of our players getting better.
