  1. Past hour
  2. you miss that season where they wouldn’t let him kick anything but extra points basically, because of alleged injury
  3. Great comp 👍🏻 hopefully we don’t think of him in the same way with regards to injury. Thanks- Interesting thought. I think our pass % could tic up some, but won’t be disappointed if it doesn’t due to continued success. If the run game isn’t as effective as last year- he better pivot
  4. I think your optimistic take is probably spot on. That's if Joe Brady allows josh to throw the ball this year or if we're gonna be mostly a run heavy offense again.
  5. When we drafted him, I figured he’d be the scramble play cheat code. He had a couple big ones but I was expecting more. Most of targets should be above average in that category. So maybe that will limit him some. Especially our RBs.
  6. He’s a hot name in fantasy circles, for what that’s worth
  7. I was happy to read about all the praise hes been getting... wish we'd all been able to see it more. Im pretty optimistic all thing Buffalo, and wouldve been really happy having him as a serviceable outside WR... I've raised my expectations a bit, but not too much, prepare for the worst hope for the best seems to serve me well with a polarizing player like Keon. Man what an absolute shot in the arm it'd be to get last years offense with Kincaid snatching bodies and Keon being even a top 20-30 kinda guy in the NFL. I gotta say the absolute silence on the team since TC ended has been tough!!! Ready for real games to get back to flying around!!!
  8. Pick 11, Achane was my first pick given the only other RB for that area was CMC. WRs still had depth so the guy picking 12 and 13 was going to leave one of Amon/Nico/Nabers. He double dipped WR and took Nico/Amon. Nabers wouldn’t have been my first choice but Giants might be where they were last year and be forced to pass more often than not, Wilson/Winston/Dart is an improvement over Daniel Jones imo so I see him slotting around the same production as last year, if not better. Draft first 10 went: 1. Chase 2. Bijan 3. Gibbs 4. Jefferson 5. Saquon 6. CeeDee 7. Jeanty 8. Henry 9. Jonathon Taylor (wild) 10. Puka
  9. Just looking at what they are doing, not what they say. You pointed out they SAID they would spend more, yet what they did was lay off workers. You are just very naive and biased and will bend over backwards to believe anything. Do you think the tariffs are actually helping American businesses? That's seems to be what you are implying They are Trump's tariffs and Trump does threaten companies that say bad things about him, those are just facts. You realize the Trump tariffs are costs Ford, Deere and Caterpillar billions of dollars in lost revenue. Make the phony argument all you want that's its just politics to say that, but it is a fact
  10. I want to think of him the way I thought about say Devante Parker Solid wideout w upside
  11. I think if he stays healthy he's going to be impressive. One thing he does really well that blends with Josh, is the way he gets open when the play breaks down. He's a great "street ball" WR. I think he's going to be HUGE in those type plays. If he plays in all 17 games he would only need to average just under 59 yards a game for 1,000 yards. That's definitely possible. I'll say he ends up over that threshold.
  12. All I know is I was handed down a free 1987 Deere lawn tractor in 2018. It was almost as old as me and still ran great. It was definitely too small for my property and started giving me trouble a few years later, but the longevity caused some brand loyalty. It was time for something new in 2022. I cross shopped Kubota and a few others. With all the inventory shortages of that time, Deere was the only one with plenty of inventory on hand so I stuck with it.
  13. Not that most of them were good samaritans but as athletes I can look back and appreciate the Cowboys teams of the 90s. I actually really enjoyed watching the docuseries about them on Netflix. More colorful and more characters than the Patriots and Chiefs dynasty teams by far EDIT: After re-reading your thread title I need to clarify I wouldn't say I LOVE those teams 😂
  14. It would be very easy for the Bills to switch out another player and add a kicker any time they want.
  15. Me in the background revving up my car. How many points would that be in Death Race 2000.? A classic starring Sly Stallone and David Carridine.
  16. Fully agree. I've owned a Kubota 45 hp diesel and now own a 50 hp Deere diesel. They will be fine, and it has nothing to do with Trump. I have looked, but am unable to find out how the EU and other's tariffs and VATs Deere and countless other US manufactured products have dealt with for years. I'm not a fan of the Trump process dealing with this, but I'm quite glad somebody did something about it. In addition, I have lost any interest in any individual who expressed a view that Biden was competent for his last two years. That was a totally idiotic view, and we all knew it.
  17. I wasn’t sure how to word the poll, but settled on this one. I considered “will he breakout”, “will you regard him as a stud WR etc.. Each seemed so subjective. So I went with this. I know you’ll probably prefer some different options to vote for, but this is it. Look into the crystal ball and discuss one of the most polarizing (imo) players on the Bills. Last year I had projected a breakout into the top 5 TEs for Dalton Kincaid. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’m feeling the same about Keon this year- not too 5 or anything crazy, but a sizable improvement. I’ve been reading a lot of players and media members mentioning how Keon looks much improved when compared to last year. Is this just “players talk”, propping up their teammates? Will his added strength allow him to get off the line with ease? Has he become a better route runner? Or is it just hype? I had initially predicted he’d finish with 51- 825-6. My thoughts were that Palmer would have similar stats and Shakir would up his catches and yards by around 10%. Currently thinking Shakir will be just about the same as last season and Palmer will go for around 700 or so, leaving room for Keon to snag more targets. 9 days away, I’m thinking that 51-825 is slightly conservative. Maybe I’m just drinking all the Kool-Aid I’ve consumed, but I don’t think 1000 yards is as far fetched as I had originally thought. If he plays in 17 games, 69- 1008- 8 (flame away). Certainly a Kool Aid tainted projection, but I’m feeling it Just discuss your thoughts on our boy. He’s the guy I’m most excited about this year and I hope he’s a focal point of our offense. I’d like to see him targeted more on quick slants and dig routes. He could be Shakir 2.0 in the way he excels at running after the catch.
  18. I’m pretty sure Caden Davis is still available and wasn’t in the tryout list. Which tells me the Bills just don’t think he’s good enough to roll out there if Bass is hurt.
  19. It’s impossible for these people not to look at everything through a politically divisive lens. To them everything is about a pro or con Trump argument. Something as simple as a financial forward looking statement from a public corporation has to come back to a Trump cause or effect issue. By the way, Deere has ran into some fairly substantial trouble with recalls on their more residential focused products. A lot of zero turns and lawn tractors with Kawasaki engines were recalled for electrical issues causing spontaneous combustion. I have a lawn tractor with a Kawasaki that wasn’t on the recall list but I still worry. I heard of some reports on not recall models catching fire, and it’s a bit concerning.
  20. Exactly. In an upcapped league with a rich owner, there is no such thing as opportunity cost.
  21. I know. It was a joke. It went over everyone's head
  22. James Cook is a tough one for me bc while he is the lead back, Davis and (mainly) Ty Johnson poach a lot of touches in obvious passing situations. I expect a regression from last year in terms of rushing TDs. Particularly with JA taking a lot of the goal line touches. That said, I’d take him as a RB3/flex option in a heartbeat. The only WR I’d target in later rounds is Keon Coleman who I see an expanded role for this year. Especially RZ targets. Wait and see on Shakir.
  23. I've seen the home jerseys I'm assuming these are the away?
  24. Totally disagree and think those are two way different scenarios. The Mets needed an elite hitter in the lineup. Teams in MLB rarely win championships without at least 1 elite hitter, many of them have 2. Soto hasn't had a typical Soto season but it's only year 1. There's also no salary cap in baseball so if you have an owner like Cohen who is willing to spend whatever, signing Soto doesn't come at the expense of sacrificing other parts of the team. Parsons has some weaknesses such as being able to be run at. Soto as an offensive player really doesn't have a weakness like that. I think if your D is solid against the run overall he does offer a top quality rusher but it's different than what you can do with Soto. You can walk him but that's still putting a baserunner on for good hitters behind him. Also Soto's still pretty young in baseball years and his skill set with a generational eye at the plate suggests he'll age well. With inflation and and higher salaries, that could also even not turn out to look like an overpay just like Bryce Harper's deal doesn't look like one anymore, in fact that looks like a really good deal now. Just totally different IMO.
