  1. Past hour
  2. You don’t even make an argument half the time. Back to the license plate stamping line with you!
  3. Mike Schopp hates it so I love it
  4. One - Keon wasn't a first round pick because of a technicality we moved back 1 spot when Beane already said he was going to take Keon if no, even so it was still our first pick in the draft that we used on a pass catching weapon. Second - I love BTJ, wanted him in the draft too as I thought he was more realistic than Odunze wasn't - BUT...BTJ was not on the board when we picked so doesn't matter. Third - Kincaid was drafted be a receiving threat, his designation on paper is irrelevant, we used that first round pick on a pass catching weapon. Fourth - 3 of the last 6 drafts we used our first pick on a receiving weapon for Allen (Diggs, Kincaid, Keon). Fifth - 4 of our 6 picks in the first 2 rounds for 3 consecutive drafts prior to this year were offensive picks, including Cook who has become a major weapon for us we just extended. All of which are key starters for this offense heading into this season.
  5. To each his own. The next QB that succeeds after going to his mommy and crying in the stands after a loss will be the first. I’m excluding 8-12 year olds of course. Williams was in a D1 university.
  6. i mean Mahomes was the best a few yrs back now it's pretty clearly Allen and Lamar
  7. But we could at least start by packaging those 2 picks. Which in fairness means we're looking at the WRs in the 2023 draft, not BTJ and 2024. So 2023 #25 and our 2024 1st (which was #28). Maybe we couldve moved up and got Zay Flowers or Jaxon Smith-Njigba. I realize this. My point was packaging (at least) 2 picks to move up to get him. Would have been worth trading both those 1sts to get him imo, compared to what we ended up with. Maybe, but BTJ has impressed on the crappy Jags with Lawrence throwing to him. Sky is the limit in Buffalo compared to that. Either way, just sayin...
  8. DaQuan Jones is not from Buffalo ... You also forgot to list Isaiah McDuffie who starred at Boston college , and Bennett high School in Buffalo and is now starting with the Packers You also forgot Jim Dombrowski who is a college football Hall of famer and on the saints Wall of Fame Even comparing Wyoming as a HS football state to Buffalo as a high school football city is really not comparable Buffalo area has ties to Major division 1 schools like Pittsburgh and Penn State and Syracuse and Boston college and has helped step up New York State as a high school football state into the top 25 Buffalo area put out like four or five division one players last year Wyoming put out like 5 the entire state One city and its surrounding suburbs puts out as many division 1 football players as a state
  9. Yes, let's give up on our second round pick because of some minor injuries early in his career.
  10. The story has been updated. Robinson is fine.
  11. Eh your saying in 4 years your profit is 100 mil just by existing. That is pretty dang good.
  12. The many expressions of James Cook: "James, sorry we can't extend you right now" "Okay, 4 years, 40 million. Happy?" "Land ahoy!!!"
  13. That's a different stat than the fourth quarter one. Regardless, you'll get no argument from me that Mahomes isn't the best.
  14. Beane would trade Kincaid and Coleman for BTJ faster than you can say Orenthal James Simpson.
  15. Bishop needs to ride off into the sunset with Spector.
  16. I thought he’d be great, but you need a trade partner go get up there and get him. There is no guarantee that you will have any takers on draft day.
  17. Winning the Potato Bowl is not without its rewards
  18. We'll see what they need after this year. Could be WR or could be something else.
  19. He’ll be in the Pro Football HOF when his career is done. Which is hopefully not for another 10 years.
  20. it's not a QB stat as much as it's a defense/does your team know how to win stat because you are never going to come back regardless of deficit unless you get the requisite punts per drive on defense
  21. Pretty sure Keon was #2 in the NfL last season in yards per reception. Palmer was 15th in the same stat. I would regard both players as fine playmakers, maybe not “big time”. They just aren’t consistent in their production….which is fine, especially for a team that spreads the ball out so much. Shakir is a big time playmaker imo, albeit for a slot/gadget guy that makes most of his living after the catch. Samuel is a solid playmaker as well, when healthy. We’ll see about Moore, jury still out. our TE and RB room are both solid in terms of playmakers as well. lacking in having one “go to guy”…. Whom we had (diggs) but decided to move on from because they didn’t want to run an offense focused on one guy (especially a guy that had chances to, but didn’t deliver in season ending losses). I think Kincaid + Coleman stats in 2025 > what BTj’s stats would be in Buffalo but who knows
  22. Yeah Coleman was about as wrong as a pick gets at this point. I can’t imagine it would’ve taken a kings ransom to jump the Jags for Brian Thomas, the guy many of us had our sights set on. Then Worthy seems exactly what this team needs, no no no, KC you take the field stretching burner, I’m sure we won’t regret that in the AFC Championship… It means Ladd must be our guy, I mean the skill set is a bit similar to Shakir, but I can’t see the problem with having two guys who get consistent separation… Nope, its the guy with sloppy route running and no separation, but he can high point a ball…yay… Don't get me wrong, I love this team, but drafting weapons for Josh has not been exactly Brandon Beane’s forte.
  23. Thomas Jr was off the board when the Bills picked.
