  2. Great win for the Bills, Western New York, and All Bills fans! Just WOW! Instant Classic (even more so because it's the last opener in Rich stadium)! Love this team! Josh was out of this world alien-level in the 4th quarter. But, something happened in this game that was encouraging...guys other than Josh stepping up in the right moments/clutch time. Oliver coming up with a big 3rd down sack when we desperately needed a stop, and then causing the Derrick Henry fumble---game changing plays. The big catches by Joshua Palmer and Jackson Hawes. Keon coming up with the tipped TD catch---I'm pretty sure that Josh was targeting Shakir, it was way over Knox's head, he shouldn't have reached for it, but heads up by Keon, being Johnny on the spot, with a great effort and catch. Benford with a couple of big third down tackles late in the game. And the everyone eats philosophy continues, with 9 different players catching a pass from Josh tonight (would have been 10 players if Ty Johnson could have held on to one of his two targets---that would-be TD throw from Josh was perfect). Yes, the defense looked rough at times, but a lot of that is Derrick Henry. He has been causing us problems since his Tennessee days. Just a special player who matches up well against our defensive style. The good thing is that Barkley may be the only other back in the league that could match up similarly, so... Plus, it stands to reason that this defense will improve as the year goes on: getting Tre and Hairston back, getting the suspended DTs back, getting Cole and the rookies more playing time, getting the new guys (Bosa, etc.) acclimated. Plus, they have been tweaking things a bit in the pass rush and using more man coverage, etc. Not great tonight, but give it time to gel. They did come up with the stops when they absolutely had to, in crunch time. So that's a big positive. And I think this is a great game to acclimate all of the new guys into the fold/culture. It was fun to see how excited Palmer was to make that big catch on the last drive, or to see Bosa on the sidelines at the end in joyous disbelief, or Prater smiling as his teammates hoisted him up after the game winning field goal. And Jackson Hawes making that huge, bobbled catch. This game will go a long way in the team chemistry department. Just an awesome night! Go Bills!
  3. What's this revival you keep talking about? Billy Grahm over here.
  4. I guess I'm old because I remember those games. The 1974 game was the only home game I ever attended. The Raiders were undefeated on Monday night. The Bills were only allowed on MNF because we had OJ. The Juice got off to good start but when he got hurt just before halftime, it seemed like the Raiders would continue their Monday night dominance. OJ was pretty much our entire offense the year before. But Fergy, surprisingly, came through dramatically for our first MNF victory. Amazingly, we went 0-for-the-1970s against the Fish. If I recall correctly that game had like 9 or 10 interceptions but after all those changes of possession, we ended our 20-game losing streak. The fans tore down the goalposts in celebration. Picking a favorite among these three is hard. But I'd probably choose this one because I transitioned from absolute misery when it was 40-25 to absolute jubilation just a few minutes later.
  5. Man honestly you being sensitive, you been on enough boards or seen enough revival fans come on here and REAL BE NEGATIVE. I didnt resort to any naming callling or said anything negative about the bills or the organization. I'm pretty respectful to this forum.
  6. Is this considered good? 3-5 Record, 10 TD / 7 INT, 60.5 comp%, 6 Lost Fumbles since you just ignored it and went back to the MVP bin
  7. I don’t think they would’ve overturned that spot tbh. They would’ve stuck with the call on the field with some mumbo jumbo about it being subjective when a slide starts ironically I really think mcd not challenging that saved the game despite the call on the field being sh*t
  8. The rematch in January is a good probability. No doubt both our teams will make the playoffs at least. The self destruct didnt happen though. Our team just kicked it up a gear and never count out Josh Allen. If you were referring to the fumble. That was forced. Thats not a self destruct. Defense makes plays too.
  9. Bernard was the one extension that surprised me this off-season. He wasn't good last year, then you add in the size/injury concerns and I really thought they would wait on extending him.
  10. Crazy reaction from the board here… Lamar is 150% in the wrong here. Don’t get near the fans if you are on the opposing team. He should be gone for 4 games for this, just a shockingly dirty thing for an NFL player to do.
  11. Bernard was atrocious Milano was not much better Williams played fair. D line was a sieve we won i dont know how we pulled that out but we did... awesome! But that doesn't fix the defense it be nice if Josh didn't have to wear a cape every game ... Oliver was a bright spot...
  12. As much as I'd really like to blame Lamar Jackson, I can't. He didn't start it.
  13. I don't know, seems appropriate actually
  14. Does the Ravens coach think Lamar is the league MVP? Ravens coach didn’t give him the ball to go and close it out. Ravens coach gave the ball to who all defensive coordinators in the league feel the ravens mvp is. The RB is who they try to stop first. Lamar had most of his passing yards tonight to a receiver who was open by 10 yards on each pass.
  15. The thing I noticed was he was really lumbering and slow out there. Being small, injured, and slow isn’t a good recipe
  16. Served em hot Chesapeake Bay Crow Cakes
  17. Babich is an incompetant we won but his defense has regressed to this point
  18. Or, both are right. Depends on how pussified one’s world is.
  19. Idk, defense looked like it was in mid season form to me…
  20. And arrested
  21. But Ed Oliver, though... Saw Dorian Williams out there a bunch, didn't we? Difficult to keep up in the stadium. Feel like he made a play in the 4th quarter.
  22. Fans can exhibit horrible behavior, but the league can't do a whole lot about it. Security might eject a few of the worst ones, but we would never hear about it. The league generally takes a very dim view of players retaliating.
  23. We should have started off in a base 4-3 with DW. D tightened up enough when they made that switch. Bernard gets bodied way too easily.
