The stadium will sell every seat, that’s not what the NFL cares about. The schedule is set to maximize TV audiences, and the Bears against Allen in his new home will be enormous.

It’s a new stadium home opener - they are going to maximize the audience. No way it’s a division game, Pats are the only draw and there is too much uncertainty with the Vrabel thing. its Bears SNF week 1, or maybe the Lions. Lower odds for Ravens or Chargers but both are possible.

What’s crazy about this…. 20 years ago it was more expensive (in _real_ dollars) to watch every NFL game, because DirecTV had a monopoly and forced you into 24 month contracts for the privilege of buying Sunday Ticket. yes, it’s super annoying to buy different subscriptions and you need to be on the ball for canceling each month - but today’s landscape is far cheaper (and far better video quality) than 20 years ago.

I honestly don’t think ours was great TV, I struggled to finish it and I’ll eat up any Bills-related media. its possible the show has run its course….

Yeah nothing controversial here. McD was a good coach but the message was stale; the best player in the world trusts Brady so he’s the guy.

Vet minimum will pay under $30k for this tax, it’s not going to be an impact. High priced FA? It won’t change their lifestyle at all, I have to think it may only become a tiebreaker when they can’t decide on equal offers.

Tua is the only guy we can afford - if he wants to be a backup to save his head, why not?

I don’t think NBC would want to open 2 seasons in a row in Buffalo. My guess is it’s a 4:25 game on CBS in week 1.

Signing the RFAs on the o-line are a priority, but I’m not sure you can say it’s that high. DC is top of the list, and anything else on the defense should flow from that decision - ie Shaq may or may not be a fit. The #1 WR is the #1 player priority this offseason. I’d mortgage the future for Jefferson, we don’t need pick #26 this year and pick #32 next year….

I posted in the other thread, but my theory is Beane (and Brady) convinced Pegula that McD was the problem. After the interviews, Pegula said "Fine, you get 1 year to make the Super Bowl". If they fail, they are both gone and we can hire Kubiak next year (other jobs will be filled before the SB).
