I have a tendency to agree with you but I would love to see Josh get to the big game and bring him the trophy for him, the city and the team but there are those here that think the sky is falling every time a game is lost and forget the resilience of this team and it's staff . I don't understand at times what some of the coaches are thinking Brady being 1 !! He had the highest scoring offend win the league last season and instead of tweaking it he has forgotten what made last year such a success & calls plays like that jet sweep on 3rd & 2 when he has what Josh calls the best 3rd down back in the league in Ty & Cook was getting 5 yds a carry WTF is up with that ??? The weapons are there USE THEM CORRECTLY or remember what you did last season and this to will pass !! The one thing I think our fan base forgets with all of this "Fire McD he's not worth a flip" is what happened to Philly when they fired Reid ? Sure they went back to the play offs but like when the Bills hired rex changes were made by the new coach and they had a losing season and it took time to find another winning coach that fit . And in this fan base the B**CHING would be 10 fold what it is now ! This fan base is like the wife that is never happy during menopause, always complaining no matter what you give them or how nice something is they gotta B**CH about it !! I think they all have sand in their mangina !!

It's insane that Cook isn't on the field in the critical moments. If I remember correctly, he wasn't on the field during the last drive in the AFCCG last year vs KC. Fans say he isn't a good blocker but who cares about that. When the game is on the line Cook isn't out there to block. He is the one player on offense who can take it to the house from anywhere on the field. They should want Cook with the ball in open space so he can go make a big play. He is not out there to block especially when its crunch time.

My thing is they are blitzing hard, you have a game breaker at RB, why not line him up in the slot and just let him work against LBs on some quick slants or wheel routes? Why do the Bills not run common sense routes against blitzes like slants?

Same thing I said all season to the "But Cook doesnt play 3rd down" statements: That's a coaching issue, not a Cook issue.

As @Kirby Jackson already mentioned, he just has to have a 1:1 chat with Pegula and, as Terry's highest paid, most important employee, let him know he doesnt have confidence in the current regime and feels they are wasting his career. That's it really. That should be enough to get the wheels in motion. Depending on what happens from there will determine the next steps. But for the most part, it's just conversations with the owner. Shouldnt be any hold outs or hold ins or anything public at all. At worst, he let's Terry know if things dont change then he's unlikely to re-sign, or will start pushing for a trade. But that would likely be the most extreme extent.

I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often with the way athletes fill themselves up with NSAIDs and alcohol to play through the pain. I remember Alonzo Mourning talking about punch bowls of Advil in the locker room after he needed a very young kidney transplant.

Josh Allen. Your turn. Show me the evidence that firing McBeane will bring about a new drought. When in the history of the NFL has a QB of Allen's caliber gone on a long streak of missing the playoffs? Josh is a buoy, you see. We're going to make the playoffs with him no matter who is the coach. The question is more, which GM will give him the talent to win in the playoffs? Which coach will be able to match wits against playoff winners like Andy Reid, Spags, Fangio, etc?

I think it would be a pretty horrible sign about the team if he had to, so no, I hope he doesn't start playing "hardball". What would that even look like? Is he going to hold out unless the changes he wants implemented are made a reality? A large portion of the fanbase (and this board) eviscerates players for doing that. Cook did it for like 4 days and people here were losing their minds over it.

I would say not much truth at all to that. I do believe he had a big say in Dorsey, which was obviously not a good judgement call.
