The third story at cnn.com right now is headlined: The next superbug threat is already here. It’s going to be even harder to overcome Sadly, it is for subscribers only. Just because I don’t know the details is not reason to not panic. Redhawk and Frankish - the experts have spoken, I think. I’m not a subscriber. Who is our worst match up in the AFC as of now?
Gregg replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
One player no matter how great cannot carry a team to a Super Bowl. It's impossible. The Bills are going to get over the hump with Allen continuing to play well and having the defense step up and doing their part. If that happens then the Bills will get over the hump and get to a Super Bowl. Barring any serious injuries, they will most likely face the Eagles or Lions if they do. I think this is the year Detroit represents the NFC in the Super Bowl. -
My thoughts exactly or Miami or Cleveland...

Who is our worst match up in the AFC as of now?

I think this Bills team, with a better secondary and d-line and a settled identity on offense, can beat anyone. On the other hand, even with this new team, I can also see them losing to Chiefs, Ravens, and Bengals in the playoffs, with the advantage of having Allen once again neutralized by the disadvantage of having McDermott. My hope for the season rests on this: I think Allen is finally going to prevail over the ineptitude of his head coach. I don't think he can play much better than he has, but I sense he is finally fed up. This is a fully realized, enormously talented player at the absolute peak of his career who will not longer tolerate losing. McDermott will haplessly steer this team to second- or third-best every year if Allen lets him. But I don't think Allen will, not anymore. -
No skin in this game. But I do find it amusing that libs want to pretend to be offended on behalf of romanists after: Covington kids Mocking of the sacrament by dem politicians "Unlimited baby murder is good, akshually" Forcing toddler boys to wear dresses Perpetual indulgence Suing nuns into the ground gay "marriage" etc. etc.

I do not think that they are going to take their best players out on the offensive line to put him in.... Nor do I think that they should... but this line has been remarkably healthy for several years... I would think he might be one of the backups that would fill in... If so would be interested to see how he has progressed...

Not one RB drafted or undrafted FA signed

It’s pretty simple… the top 3 is set. Nobody drafted or brought in now will take their spot. Maybe bring in one more for camp that’s about it -
Ranking The Last 25 Years of Week 1 Opening Games

I should have added this subnote on this game. After the coin toss for OT my dad stepped away in the kitchen to use the bathroom and figured he had time. He heard me start yelling oh no this isn't good they might score and it changed quickly from semi joking to oh crap this is happening. He came out and I was like "we blew it the Jets ran another one back" and he goes "yea I could hear in the bathroom your tone changed quickly" lol. If there is one thing during the bad years I get a smile is the amount of good memories I have with my dad and later on my wife with all of these games. Luckily he is still kicking well, but I do not take it for granted. -
Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL

Just keep in mind that RAS is calculated using only the data available. Anything missing isn’t factored in. For example, Jackson didn’t do the 3 cone or 20 yard shuttle drills so his agility isn’t part of his RAS score. Obviously agents want players to maximize their scores so they would tell them to avoid any testing that would lower it substantially. The other popular tactic is to split up different measurements. For example, put on some weight for the combine but run the 40 and other agility drills at the pro day (after you shed that extra weight). -
Ive been negative about my job since I graduated. Been doing for 20 years. People have come and gone. Still doing it as I dont know what else I would do. Having children adds another level of stress to the equation as it makes me feel like Im locked in until they are launched.

I heard Beane on one of his many interviews recently. I forget which media this was with but the interviewer was really pressing him on James Cook. Beane just calmly shut it down and said..."Look, James Cook is our running back. He's under contract and he will be playing for the Buffalo Bills this season. There's nothing else to talk about". It does not sound like Beane is entertaining all the off the field nonsense that Cook and his team are putting out there.

I’d prefer we play KC and Baltimore mid season vs end of season. I’m not a fan of beating up on each other right before the playoffs.

thanks for pointing that out! It did make me feel a bit better seeing Boston and Philly both get knocked back 2 spots too. Especially Boston. That knocks them back to #7 and Philly out of the top 5. 😁 lol I am actually happy for the NYI fan base too. I’m glad to see a new team win the draft lottery for a change and NYI fans are die-hards. They deserve the excitement. As for the Sabres, I’m hoping they can trade the pick for a good player to help them now. Being at #9 likely means being into the 3rd tier of prospects in this draft as the top 2 tiers are said to be only about 6 players deep this year (assuming the top 6 are gone by pick 9). I was hoping a guy like McQueen might fall to 7 but I’m not sure he makes it to 9. I don’t want to see Buffalo trade the pick just for the sake of making a “win now” trade. But if the right player is available I’d trade the pick in a heartbeat.

Stupid Panthers. Need a better effort in game 2. BOB needs to play better in the net. I don't want the Leafs advancing to the ECF.

Said another way … “I know I create confusion in a community where many people spend time reading here and listening to a podcast. However, I’m unconcerned about that because I’m butt hurt about some perceived slight from years ago that’s important to me, and no one else. The confusion will arise from time to time among people investing time and energy here. That matters not to me. In my universe this is clever and self gratifying. The rest be damned.”

Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL
HaldimandBills replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
I doubt it. It doesn't really work like that. Dropping 15 pounds doesn't up your RAS score from a 4 to a 9. One is an elite athlete and one isn't. Watching their college tape it is no contest. Landon Jackson is much more fluid than Epenesa.
