I say this every flipping year. The healthiest BEST team is winning the SB. The Saints can be fully healthy they ain’t winning anything. But of the Eagles, Bills, Chiefs, Ravens, etc - whoever is healthiest will win. The second Aiden Hutchinson got hurt I said the Lions were done. You can’t lose a guy like that for as long as they’d be without him and win it all. Then, their entire defense was massacred. The 1 seed Lions looked helpless vs Washington. There is only 1 thing that can cover your injuries in the NFL. Elite QB play. They have to be near perfect to win the 3 or 4 games needed to win a SB if you are dealing with multiple significant injuries. We have not had ONE Bills post season run under Allen not down at least 1 significant starter on defense. It’s exhausting.

Bolton was the one guy I commented on here about appointments in Trump's first term. Don't like him at all. Never have. He is a loudmouthed, me first, get me in front of a camera, war monger who wants to bomb and invade everyone, including Iran when it was still Persia. I have no idea about this recent episode with him, but the less heard from him and his views, the better.

PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion
Kirby Jackson replied to Spiderweb's topic in The Stadium Wall
That looks crazy steep!! MetLife is like that. Sat up there for that Aaron Rodgers game a couple years ago and it was TERRIBLE!! -
Tell that to my tenants who are scraping by and could use a slice of that $600m. Look, I would have voted for the stadium monies, too. I get why Terry asked, and I get why the state paid. It’s still not a good look to get $600m in tax monies and then build a $100m boat. We agree to disagree.

So what do you think of Terry's new yacht?
Kirby Jackson replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some really weird/sad/jealous responses on here. Newsflash, almost all new stadiums are public/private partnerships. Newsflash, almost all pro sports owners have yachts and other lavish toys. They’re billionaires!! That’s reality. Don’t hate the player. Hate the game. -

I like your point, but it also shines a light on the problem of putting it in OP and leaving it open-air. By doing those 2 things, they've basically relegated it to Pegula/Bills-use only. Had they put it downtown, and made it a dome, there is a whole list of events it could have hosted to generate even more revenue. Heck, the state is about to spend $150M-$200M on a new stadium for UB. Could have just had the Bulls play in the new dome downtown and saved that money, which is practically 25% of the stadium budget. Not to mention things like xgames, flag football tournaments, conventions, etc, etc. Even with the extra money it would have cost to put a dome downtown, it could have been recouped pretty quickly. -

By the time he finished, he paid half the sticker price, the dealer ate the 'undercoating' cost, and the salesman had to work as an usher at War Memorial for two years. -

The 2025-2026 NY state budget is $254,000,000B. $850 million is approximately 0.3346% of 254 billion. Hardly a dent for some happy voters with Buffalos on their caps. Meanwhile, NYC budget in 2024 was $106B with tax revenue collections of $28B. Think about that subsidy. -
Well I wasn't going to bump an 18 year old thread, but I see that NC has already done it, so, Another mortgage fraud...............................rules are for the little people.

Tre is like an old car that keeps breaking down. Is anyone surprised he is already injured? No good reason that the Bills resigned him and Dane Jackson. For whatever reason Beane can’t get over guys who played for us, once they leave. Everyone has their shelf life. Tre’s has expired. Need some young veteran talent at CB. Hopefully we can put some semblance of a competent secondary on the field when the bullets start to fly🙏🙏

I am just literally waiting for the update... I am not sure the tea leaves are gonna do it... However, the fact that they let him walk back out to the field to me isnt a bad sign... but who knows... we all want to speculate and hope its ok ... but really need some kind of an update... and who knows when that comes...

Any boat that large should have cannons on it and be manned by a crew of unscrupulous but lovable seafaring scallywags. That's a hill I'll die on. Since Pegula probably has neither, I'm against it.
-
That’s good. I still like that people of your beliefs will fight for her to use the restroom of her choosing.
-
Maybe Josh and Hailee should've asked Terry to use the boat for their rendezvous in Mexico so that no Paparazzi will be near them. Maybe they did now because there is not much news about them any more.

Ogunjobi really needs to go to Baltimore just to complete the AFC North set. Just like Fitz needs to unretire and take a snap in New England. Gotta catch 'em all! -
I have no idea who this is because I’m not completely obsessed with trans people like others on this board

Looking back -- Davante Adams vs Amari Cooper
Thurman#1 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can we stop with the "Of course Beane is going to say that," crap. Because that's what it is, it's crap. Beane is a guy who says what he means. Ask anyone in the media, they know this by now. And yeah, sometime he's put in a position where many GMs would just tell a polite lie. But Beane is media-savvy, he just says he can't answer that right now or passes some Crash Davis pabulum. "Which did we want more, A or B? Well, you know, A will run through a wall for the team, and B always gives 110%. We love both guys, really. Next question." As a rule of thumb, if you think that Beane lied because you can't believe he'd really disagree with you that much ... you're wrong. He did feel that way. If he didn't feel that way, he wouldn't have said it. Beane does disagree with people on this board sometimes, believe it or not. If he said it, he meant it. And it's totally possible that he thought that Cooper was a better solution to the problem than Adams. 100% possible, even if he thought that Adams was a better player than Cooper, which he likely did think. Beane's job isn't to acquire the best player regardless of other considerations. It's to acquire the best solution to making the team better, which means he is forced to include other factors such as whether he is willing to give away more draft capital than another team is, and how much each guy will count against the cap. -
Is the stadium owned by Terry Pegula? Is it to be used exclusively by Terry Pegula and the NFL team that he owns? If the answer to both questions is no, then I don't see the issue.
