Prater hurt? Might miss Browns game
finn replied to Slippery Rubber Mats's topic in The Stadium Wall
My worry here is that it might be a field goal kind of game. The Bills tend to play down to the level of its opponent, especially on the road, and the Browns defense could easily slow them down, leaving them to kick long field goals. With a shaky kicker, that might be a problem. -
Yeah Hoecht's 6'4" height also means QB's have to sometimes change their target to avoid a batted ball and int.

How many rule changes do we need to win a Super Bowl

I agree with everything here. I have a lot of respect for Houston. Excellent defense I still think buffalo would surprise some and outclass them in the playoffs. Similar to what KC did on the road vs Baltimore in the AFC championship... Our tackles were both hurt and I believe we would live that game in 2-3 te sets. I do believe we would pull it out and Allen would play at a much higher level in that particular playoff matchup Montana did the same thing in 1988, where they lost in similar fashion to the bears in the regular season 10-9 I believe. But won in Chicago in the nfc championship 28-3 I believe the Kelly Bills did the same thing to Miami in 1992

The Steelers winning last night makes it even better to root for the Patriots, at least in my mind. Haha, it's funny how people can think so differently on this topic. (Hopefully nobody gets mad since it's just a dumb discussion, not life or death)

Now that Mahomes, Burrow, and possibly Lamar are out of the playoffs, this just might be the year where we catch some break on call in the playoffs. -
What's not common sense about the better team hosting a playoff game? How do you not agree with it?

https://democracyjournal.org/magazine/79/what-my-party-needs-to-do/ Good on the democrat senator from Delaware for doing some reflecting. The opening lines: “When did Democrats stop caring about working people?” I hear that question a lot from Delawareans—nurses and cops, dental hygienists and mechanics.” Harsh medicine for the unhinged and melodramatic roundy’s, Redhawk’s, and C-section’s of the internet.

Where is this Replay assist. Isn’t that the exact play it is for? -
Didn't we crush them less than a year ago? 31-7. I don't see that playoff team as much better than this year's. They have a good D, but they did last year too. If we play the right strategy we run it down their throats and mix in a lot of play action. Nix is one year more mature, but he's not exactly lighting it on fire and their run O has not been great.

The Bills have to come out and make this a statement game........they need to punch Cleveland in the mouth early and often. I think for the Bills to strike any kind of fear into teams going forward, they need to come out sharp. That is all........carry on

I mean, do you really trust a running back to be able to kick off properly? I guess he could just try and boot it in the endzone every kick, but man that could be a disaster -

The broadcast didn't provide a replay before the next play. So, if our coaching booth only had the same feed we were all watching at home they would not have had any more to go off of then what we had. That said, watching from home we all still wanted a challenge flag so one still should have been radio downed to be thrown. -
I agree with this. I know people get frustrated and pissed off when we're running and not gaining any yards or only minimal yardage. People want to see a wide opened attack through the air and JA dropping dimes all over the field, however, i see what Brady is doing with our run game.........keep running up the gut or let Cook bounce it outside cause eventually he has the talent to get some meaningful yards. I think of it like this.......in boxing, you go for the knockout by punching to the head, however, the tougher and longer fights are won with body shots where you eventually wear your opponent down. Our run game are the body shots and we're wearing out D's, grinding it out and making them tired as the game progresses. I know it's sometimes frustrating to watch, however, i'm old school so give me running backs all day long.

8 conference winners? Nobody wants to see a first round game between the #2 SEC or BIG 10 team and the MAC winner. I actually have nothing against the way they select the college playoff teams. It's about a good way to go as any. There will always be controversy.

Sadly, he also appears to be the same guy who doesn’t finish routes I’m curious what you saw or AJ on that play. From my vantage point, he didn’t hold his contain and allowed the cutback to happen. He didn’t stay back of the pile and started to sneak ahead of it, which left the entire weak side of the field open.

These "pot luck" Christmas parties really seem like bottom of the barrel to me. Hey, bring your own food and we'll all share, like a family.......i have no idea if Linda washed her hands when she was making the crab dip and i don't know if ole Carl was "special saucing" his tuna salad and i can only imagine how Pete made his famous chili (the same Pete who eats cheese and crackers for lunch every day). I've seen other people's kitchens and other people's interpretation of cleanliness and if i have to share food with people i don't even like, i'm out.
