  1. Past hour
  2. Deion is probably already looking at homes in the Cleveland area. He'll be the coach in about 8 months, so that gives some time.
  3. The worst part is I didn't realize it right away. I heard them come home while I was in my room playing Madden. Then after about 30 minutes, it hit me....I was like "OOOOOOOOOOOH S***!" I went back into the living room after after I heard them walk outside to the backyard. I was like "run and grab the tissue and DVD" and we'll be good. Tissue and DVD already gone...never got the DVD back.
  4. and understanding sometimes they dont work out... but at least we aren't paying millions to OBJ or Cooper etc... and there is an upside potentially...
  5. I've really not noticed any change to this point where I live, eggs were already higher priced when Joe was in office, lumber was too and we all thought that after the so called supply chain shortage that the price of lumber would come down but it didn't and neither will the price of eggs now that the chicken farms are making some triple the price than before . Gas has actually came down in a lot of places around here, Housing is absolutely ######ed price wise because of not only the lumber but I believe the greed of more of auctioning off the houses instead of the real estate agents sticking to their suppose standards that they once expressed to me when selling a home . But we know it's all Trump every day all day and even every thing that happened with manufacturing being pushed over to china since lets say 1980 or earlier that F N Trump was behind all of that too . THAT S O A B !!!!
  6. Since the owner is dumber than the GM, the GM stays I guess.
  7. You are correct, no one really knows... but what fun would it be on an opinion speculation thread to say... we dont know ask me in 3 years... With respect to the Browns, I am also factoring in the locker room... and despite being terrible, needing to install a new offense with Dorsey gone or go back to Stephanik's... Watson still being there is a permanent stain on this team that keeps giving etc... then drafting 2 QBs , losing Brissett and bringing back Flacco at 78 years old LOL... I just think is a lot of offseason uncertainty to an offense that was very fragile to begin with... Locking up Myles Garrett was a plus... but have they encouraged players to go public to the media to express their displeasure so they can get new contracts... that is a slippery slope... all and all I think Cleveland has a greater chance of getting worse this year than better...
  8. A-oooo werewolves of London. 🎶
  9. I'm never against bringing in young, high draft picks into TC to compete. I love that we signed Shenualt and Moore instead of aging names.
  10. rumor has it that the AFC Championship game at Highmark will be the late game this January, so we'll know who we will face in the Super Bowl before kickoff!
  11. So many incredible home games this year! NFL.com cites 2, should probably be 4. It's just so nice (for once) that the games are here and not on the road!
  12. Can't narrow it down to just one song. There are so many great songs out there. I can narrow it down to one concert Cornell, Barton Hall 5/8/77. Highlighted by Scarlet/Fire.
  13. Well I wont disagree with you there... Clearly Lofton was the extreme example... but I would say lots of folks that I am reading seem to be more excited about this pick up than me, thinking he is really going to change our offensive dynamic... he might... but I dont think so... Conversely, I am seeing a lot of he just isnt that good... etc.. To that I am simply saying look maybe his one or the other... but likely he will be a fair pickup that will give us modest production he will likely not be either extreme and I don't mind taking a shot with players that may come in and over produce... like lets say a Jerry Hughes (better example than Lofton) ... who at pick up I never thought you would get that kind of production out of him.. every now and again it works...
  14. I've noticed that Beane has a different demeanor on the national shows than WGR. Probably, there's a little bit of "you guys are small potatoes AND you're going to criticize me?" going on. There's been some criticism nationally as well about asking Allen to do too much, but those guys have way bigger platforms and frankly mean more in the national sports conversation. National guys are also more measured and less repetitive about it. I will say McDermott seems the same everywhere. He's exactly the same person whether he is on local media, national media, or you bump into him at Wegmans. That's not a criticism of Beane. I think I would be annoyed at the amateur hour level of questions he gets from WGR too. It's one thing to politely go on and put up with being asked unimaginative NFL 100 level questions, but it would be another entirely to have to listen to constant criticism from the same people whose idea of a probing question is "so, did you think of drafting a WR?" I think it honestly comes from the reality that a lot of local guys on radio have a schtick. They play a character to stand out. Everyone has a personality, that's not what I mean. I mean a persona that they seem to artificially cultivate or lean into, instead of just being a guy or gal on the radio who talks sports and has something interesting to say OR at the very least acts like a professional broadcaster.
  15. You think the unemployed will occupy Wall Street again? What a mess!
  16. I don't really know that much about any of the players the Bills took this year but from what I'm hereing your grades don't match up if what I heard is true . Greg Cosell said Hawes was the BEST blocking TE in this draft and Hawes said he loves to just crush people in his interview with the Buffalo media . Listening to 1 Bills live Beane, Browny, Cosell, all said that last season Walker played through a broken bone in his back some how which was the reason for his down turn in production in 2024, but looking at his 2023 tape if he had come out then he would have been a first rounder . Then I heard Browny reference Walker and said he is HUGE but doesn't have any belly that hangs over his belt so the losing weight thing not sure about your take on that either . ALso mentioned and I can't remember which CB it was but again Cosell said from watching the tape he was one of the best press man CB in college, I'll have to go back and listen to it again to find out which one & he gave some praise to Sanders being a twitchy fast DT with good pass rush skills . I'm no football guy just a fan so sorry but I'm gonna take it that they have those guys graded a bit higher than you do . Oh and they talked about Lundt;s up side being very good too so then there's that .
  17. If not night home games, then 4:25 starts for the national Sunday afternoon game shown to the entire country.
  18. Yea across the board really. Elam was unprepared and looked terrible. Was always a handsy player, just imo doesn't have it between the ears to play in this defense. Lewis is a swiss army knife but was the main extra in dime looks this past year, and he was not very good. When TJ missed time he moved into that role as well. I think writing is on the wall with 3 corners picked (plus tre) that he's looking at a full-time safety switch to have a shot making the team. Douglas seemed to have lost a step, which usually leads to penalties and mistakes. Ingram made some plays (mostly off tipped balls), but if they didn't feel comfortable playing him in that playoff game i think writing is on the wall. Inbound Tre White - who if he can be back to what he was can be a very good player. If he can't (pretty big if), then the dead money isn't terrible Dane Jackson - knows the system, probably ends up on the PS Hairston - White's there to block him so he has to beat him out. Benford beating out elam before is a good indicator that its not just White in his way. Hancock - Projects inside Strong - Ideally he sticks as boundary depth. Tre white's an injury timebomb Like one season and they flipped the entire unit. Older players brought in, and 3 rookies. Then you don't have both... It's pretty true to say - Free agent or draft capital for your... #5 WR. Who's going to have more contributions in 2025? Plus ur not married to the free agent like you are a 3rd round pick (i know ur not "married" but it comes with a time commitment, and changes what you might do at the position a year later for example).
  19. I have a lot of questions. There is a reason that farmers shoot wildlife year round.
  20. I think Cooper ends up back in Dallas on a cheap, one year deal before TC.
  21. Right. Especially because it's obvious that Bills have very little interest in signing the next best thing. All the Bills are looking for is reliable receivers with decent speed, decent hands, and solid blocking skills. Plus, the standard for all Bills players: intense competitor, team player, growth mindset.
  22. Good luck
  23. I wouldn't immediately characterize someone who voted for Trump as MAGA. To me, to be MAGA there is a level of fandom and unabashed loyalty to the movement. I know lots of people who held their noses and voted for Trump but that wouldn't tell anyone that.
  24. This is what 1st came to mind: This one, too:
  25. I have squirrels in my attic. It drives me nuts. Unfortunately, I'm replacing my roof and soffits in about a month in a half. I say unfortunately because of the $$$$$. On the plus side, it should eliminate any access points. Until then, I found these things online which I am going to put in various spots. I just got them so I don't know if they work. According to reviews, which I take with a grain of salt, they work pretty well in attics and gardens. I'm sure a bigger challenge to make them work on trees.
