The Frankish Reich replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
https://nypost.com/2025/07/01/us-news/idaho-firefighter-shooter-wess-roley-had-nazi-tendencies-ex-classmates-say/ Troubled kid with a major Nazi infatuation. No, that doesn't mean it's Trump's fault. But don't we need to think about what's going on here? Why are boys obsessed with Call of Duty and Nazi crap? And why do at least a few of them turn into senseless killers? What role do absentee fathers play? We could ask those questions or we could just go full catturd and desperately suggest transgenderism is at fault just to deflect blame. -
Alex Smith - 6 years later showing how remarkable his comeback was
JohnNord replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I always thought his comeback was way more impressive that people give him credit for. Actually if you’ve ever been injured yourself, it’s astounding how fast NFL players return from injury. of course, it probably helps to have to have a team of doctors, athletic trainers, nutritionists at your disposal but still…. -

It's not a precedent set by Goodell; it's in the CBA between the NFL and NFLPA. -

FireChans replied to 14774's topic in The Stadium Wall
You could have just agreed lol. I even said the point was to find common ground. I think that BB would have an excellent winning record with a Patrick Mahomes or Joe Montana at QB. Probably not as good as with Brady because he is the better QB imo. What is the point you are trying to make? See how easy it is to answer a question and advance the conversation without having a defensive meltdown? (No McDermott pun intended) -

Royale with Cheese replied to 14774's topic in The Stadium Wall
You probably should give up. Asking specific questions, in this case, asking why I think McDermott would have a .600% winning percentage without Allen is eluding to something. I never once never gave indication that McDermott would be as successful without Allen. Okay, I will ask questions then since it's not assuming or eluding to something. Why do you FireChans, believe that the GOAT Coach would have a .300 winning % without the GOAT QB? Why would he have a .300% winning percentage if he had the Second best QB of all time? I'm not eluding to anything. I'm just asking a question. And great example of using an objective topic for a subjective topic. A firetruck is red because it's red. You don't have to elude to it. It's a fact which makes it objective. How good a coach will be or would be without an elite QB is subjective. -
Par for the course during the Biden administration huh? But now it's a cause for concern? Got it.

Assuming the Bills had all the information available to them, I don’t understand why they would draft this guy. Especially in the 1st round. It’s just not worth it to me. -

Mr. WEO replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Describe all of the facts of the case as you know them (hint: the decision by a DA to not press charge on an assault case is not a "fact" of a case, it's the outcome). You already know that (according to DOJ data) of the 310/1000 cases that are reported, only 50 lead to arrest. It's obvious that there often is not enough hard evidence for a DA to charge--they don't want to take anything to trial except slam dunk cases. She reported it to the cops (which less than half of victims do). It didn't go anywhere. If I'm her, I'm absolutely going to wait until the perp comes into some money and then sue--why not? Now she is guaranteed his response, unless he settles before he is deposed/discovery. If he settles then he's guilty. How many times has Watson been charged with assault, despite over 20 women suing him civily for it? That's right, zero---yet we are pretty sure he is guilty of it (because he plays for another team). -

holy smokes bro. Asking you questions is not assuming you "eluded" to something. "do you think that fire truck is red?" "I NEVER EVEN ALLUDED TO THINKING THAT FIRETRUCK WAS RED." I give up. -
Hi Mup- I'm not sure why my note to Fergie prompted this note to me, but I'm glad you shared your thoughs and how you feel. I respect you for fighting for the things you believe in, for things that are important to you, and for helping to guide your daughter through this maze of madness that represents our political process. I am uncertain why people feel I should not do the same, or that I should subvert my opinions or things that are important to me. I recognize that's not the point of your note to me, but I see it here all the time. I was chastised earlier today for my beliefs ironically enough. I agree with your daughter, btw, about concerns about people generally. However, I am completely and irrevocably cynical as to exactly how these bills play out, what really happens at the street level, and which politicians are shilling for what special interests at any given point in time. I'd suggest to my daughter (a recovering empath btw) figure about half of what is published is false, incorrect , deliberately misleading or partially true.

You go to extremes with everything lol. I never said McDermott would be a .600 winning percentage without Josh. Never even eluded to it. I never said that I think McDermott could be the greatest of all time. Never even eluded to it. I also think McDermott would be a mediocre coach without a franchise QB. I think that applies to every head coach. Belicheck is a below average coach without Brady and his record states that. Do you think you're bringing up a unique point or something? Its obvious that the QB is like the Queen on a chess board...it's the most important piece. I don't understand what you're really arguing now because you're adding in assumptions I never made. -

I just read the complaint linked in the article in the OP. the gist is he suddenly came into her room uninvited and said he was “high as F,” and then raped her. That is obviously egregious, If true. The common SA cases on college campuses seem to involve both parties being intoxicated and disagreements over consent. That’s not how this one is being framed. -
