Absolutely dirty hit by the Chargers. Reminded me of the Carson Palmer injury from years back against the Steelers. As much as i can’t stand the Chiefs, i don’t like seeing anyone get hurt like that.

Has Josh Allen put himself back in the race for MVP this year??

And you don’t need them when you play bad teams. -

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
Victory Formation replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love your optimism brother, but I think you are detracting from what Josh Allen and the Bills were able to do.. That was a superhuman feat for us to claw our way out from a 21pt hole.. I hate New England as much as you do, but what Buffalo was able to do was incredible.. -
And without the D in the 2nd half, Allen is pointless. This is such a stupid argument. Allen played great. The D played great. The ST played great. Obviously Josh is our franchise and we aren’t much without him, but this discrediting everything but Josh Allen is ridiculous. The D balled out the entire 2nd half minus one play. They deserve their flowers too

HOW THE BUFFALO BILLS ACTUALLY WIN (X’s & O’s) THE JOSH ALLEN PROBLEM (STRUCTURAL ADVANTAGE) Why defenses struggle: Josh Allen creates a numbers advantage every snap. Defense must: Rush 4? Allen has time. Rush 5? Coverage breaks. Spy Allen? One fewer defender in coverage. Result: Somebody is always wrong The math Normal offense: 10 vs 11 Bills offense: 11 vs 11 because Allen is a run threat That changes: Red zone defense 3rd down defense Goal-line packages Buffalo doesn’t need perfect play design — Allen fixes broken plays OFFENSIVE IDENTITY: CONTROLLED CHAOS Base concepts Buffalo lives on Spread formations (force defense to declare) Option routes (WR reads leverage) QB run game (designed + scramble) Key plays: QB power QB draw Flood concepts off rollouts Dig / comeback combos vs zone Why it works Defenses hesitate for half a second That half second = first down Against man coverage, Allen punishes blitzes Against zone, he attacks seams and scrambles Buffalo wins by forcing defenses to play honest, then breaking honesty THE RUN GAME (MISUNDERSTOOD BUT IMPORTANT) Buffalo does not need to dominate rushing yards. What they need: 4 yards on 1st down Successful short-yardage Enough threat to freeze linebackers How they do it: Inside zone Duo Split flow with motion QB run keeps edges honest The run game exists to unlock Allen, not replace him PASS PROTECTION ADJUSTMENTS (THE KEY DIFFERENCE) When Buffalo loses, it’s usually: Interior pressure A-gap blitzes Immediate disruption When Buffalo wins: Quick game early (slants, hitches) RB chip help Moving the pocket Empty sets after establishing rhythm Buffalo protects Allen by not letting defenses tee off DEFENSE: BEND, DON’T BREAK — THEN STRIKE Defensive philosophy Light boxes Two-high shells Force long drives Clamp in the red zone Why it works in playoffs: Long drives increase mistake probability One sack or penalty kills momentum Field goals > touchdowns Key stats that matter: -3rd down % -Red zone TD % -Turnover timing (not volume) Buffalo’s defense is built to survive early and close late TURNOVERS: TIMING OVER TOTALS Buffalo doesn’t always win the turnover battle numerically. They win it situationally: Late-half INTs 3rd-down sacks Forced throws when trailing Josh Allen’s aggression is calculated: Risk early to establish pressure Smarter decisions late with the lead One turnover at the right time > three meaningless ones SPECIAL TEAMS & FIELD POSITION (QUIET EDGE) Buffalo consistently: Starts drives near the 25+ Pins opponents deep Avoids disastrous returns In cold games: Field position = hidden points One short field = game swing Bills win ugly games by winning invisible yards HOW BUFFALO WINS IN JANUARY (THE FORMULA) If you simplify it: 1. Don’t panic early 2. Let Allen create pressure 3. Force defenses into bad math 4. Protect the middle 5. Clamp in the red zone 6. Win one swing moment Control the chaos better than the opponent WHY THIS SCARES OTHER TEAMS You can’t simulate Josh Allen Game plans break after first contact Cold weather amplifies physical mistakes Buffalo doesn’t need script — they need opportunity If the Bills are in the playoffs: They don’t need to be the best team They need to be the hardest problem

Love's deep passes is pretty darn good. -
are you going to hang at the water cooler and be like, hey you know we almost had them but that damn Josh Allen and the bills, they let me down. I was, you know, basing this off your "predict the score" take "Pats 21 -12 Bills Maye has Brady DNA Genetic blends with uncertain ends On a fortune hunt that's far too fleet" enjoy your monday morning in beautiful new england!

Without Allen the play of D in the second half is pointless. Yeah he made adjustments and the D played a lot better but WTF are they in this situation week after week. I look back at our schedule and we face 4 really good QBs playing at a high level, Lamar, Baker, Mahommes(?), Burrow and Maye. All of them except Mahommes made our first half D look like Swiss Cheese. Turning the blind eye to another problem on this team because the final score.

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
IMO I think Maye is going to be on a Marcus Stroud/ Trevor Lawrence level. I don’t think he’ll ever be good enough to take over games consistently, but you give him a good supporting cast and he’s going to flourish. The only thing that separates him from those guys is his big frame and athleticism. Vrabel would be smart to use him more as a dual threat -

Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap
PatsFanNH replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ok let’s be realistic he didn’t have a terrible game! Second he is in his 2nd season and his first full season.. he has never played this many games before in 1 year.. Also the game plan wasn’t for him to air it out it was to run the ball which they did fine at.. scoring 31 points wins 9 out of 10 games the issue wasn’t the Pats O it was the second half D unable to get off the field.. if we are honest both D look scary bad today.. the Bills D was gashed by the run and the Pats D couldn’t stop it either in the second half or the throws to the TE (which oi stated was a weakness) -
They will need to be better to win the Championship… Need to clean up the starts … which seems to have extended to them looking anaemic the whole first half … The in game management and offensive play calling needs to improve The first is likely doable …. Not so sure about the second …

Matt Milano weighs like 230 and powered through a double team. That was unbelievable. He is back.
