SNF - Houston @ KC Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)

Just checked in...read post sporadically. It's halftime so general comment. .... I love the Chiefs struggling at home. Texans are dangerous, but I don't care. Chiefs and their fans need to go away. -

I mean Josh was still trying to be super human with two hurt tackles lol Look at Josh break off his 40-yard touchdown run today Patrick mahomes does not have that explosiveness still.. Pat could move around and make some plays he doesn't have that anymore Sure that defense beat us up too but if you watch the Chiefs over the last 16 games and watched the bills their body language is not the same one guy is a lot more beat up consistently -

Maybe just don't go all in unless you have a great quarterback. Going all in with Daniel Jones is never a good idea. -

Good points, but I maintain the decline of Kelce has a lot to do with it. Mahomes looked like a candidate for GOAT his first few seasons. He was unstoppable, the likes of which were never seen. He was a very lucky guy, he was gifted Reid, Kelce, and Tyreek Hill to begin his career. Then he lucked into guys like Sammy Watkins randomly dominating playoff games. -
Good throw but let’s not get ridiculous on all time throws here

I dont know about all that. When the Bills played the Texans people on social media were saying that about Allen. That he looks old, slower and not confident. Maybe it’s just the Houston defense ?!? -

I think today's game is kind of what we are going to see from the Bills defense. They aren't elite and they will be exposed by good offenses. However, if they can make some big plays and some keys stops the team should be ok with Allen on offense. -

Of course it's advancing It's very plain to see... Obviously still terrific but he looks like a guy whose body's not going to hold up another 9 or 10 years in the league There was an interview with Brady back in the day when he was like already 30 plus .. they were talking about him and Manning's legacy And he basically said.. just watch.. I'm not close to done and I know he does not have much time left... Basically said he knows the way he takes care of his body is much better than Manning and he's not breaking down -

"team", I fixed it -
This is also my favorite Allen play.

That was pure awesomeness. He’s got so many great moments that overshadow almost every other QB in this leagues greatest moment

Can anyone explain the logic of not going for an onside kick at the end for the Bengals? I see two scenarios: 1. You kick it away and if the Bills get a first down the game is over. 2. You kick an onside kick, and if the Bills recover they need a first down to end the game. Seems like both scenarios are the same, with scenario 2 having the benefit of maybe recovering the onside (especially considering the snowy slippery weather). -
Santa. Can you pair #17 with #1 or #5 (Cin). Uuuhhhggg.

I thought his weird body started breaking down on him about a year or two ago. That breakdown is advancing more slowly than I thought it would, but it is advancing, imo. -

In truth, I would have preferred Stroud when we played them. Mills is more poised and accurate, IMO. -
Milton Williams and Will Campbell are on IR. I believe they have another starting guard on IR as well
-
Phenomenal throw. Reminiscent of the throw to Diggs on Thansgiving Day.
-
Lamar is clearly injured and is not playing well. As you said it is not crapping on him to realize that since 2020 Josh has been the better QB.

Texans should’ve immediately called a TO when they picked up the first. Just totally botched the end of the half. -

I am struggling big time. KC, in the playoffs, has been a nightmare. But I hate the Texans. Really hoping for a tie. -

I'm going to get flamed but I think mahomes is way closer to the end than the beginning Everybody talks about Allen and how long he's going to play... Josh takes care of his body much better.. carries himself much better on the field.. Pat is always limping around Just like Tom stuck around for years after Manning and cemented himself I think Josh does the same Pat looks 30 going on 35 sometimes
