Colts to bring in ….. Philip Rivers for workout
Tanoros replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I understand having Flacco over Browning. But what are the Bengals doing in the post season without Burrow? That’s almost a guarantee first round exit. I suppose winning the division is good for a pat on the back. But you’re right, they wouldn’t let go of Flacco, as much as it would be nice for Flacco to have that opportunity. -
Same here but instead of college, “spreading freedom” to one place or another 😁 The jokes / fun was still likely the same lol Seems like entertainment, the internet and just about everything went from awesome, fun and free (90’s - early 2000’s) to…tedious maybe? Contrived? Inauthentic? Crap, sorry, grrr angry about fumbles from our top two playmakers!!

The Pats will probably win the division but if the Bills win on Sunday, then it will get interesting. The Bills remaining schedule after NE is at Cleveland, Philly and the Jets. The Bills should handle business against the Browns and Jets. That Eagles game isn't looking to tough right now as they have been struggling lately. If the Bills can beat the Pats, then there is a good chance, they run the table and finish 13-4.

Wow. Just wow. If you think that anyone on these teams is now "free" to speak out, I've got a bridge to sell you. . -

Just get as healthy as possible for the postseason for once. AFC is wide open and it would be nice to have a home game but I am not worried about seeding let the chips fall where they will. If there is any year for this team to finally do it and reach the Super Bowl it is now. -
I don't want to belabor the point over and over again but I feel casual hockey fans have no idea how crazy this is. Like, no idea. This is his 6th year. 6 years. Six. He still hasn't found a goaltender. Terry cannot even attend a home game anymore. They would have to use cleaning carts to sneak him in like Taylor Swift.

Trump ❤️ Tariffs
Niagara Bill replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So more tariffs, now on Canadian potassium fertilizer. Now this will increase food prices....oh but wait, the wizard just pulled a socialist solution from his butt and helped to subsidize farmers with 12 billion, partially because their sales are down because Canada has stopped buying US food products. So socialism is alive and well in the maga plan. But wait, a real solution is possible. If a tariff on potash creates all this bs, the contracts that US companies freely bargained with Canadian suppliers should be ripped up and the Canadian suppliers should just increase prices by 25%. It stops socialism creeping into America...thank you, you are welcome, just trying to help maga boys understand actual economics. -
Is this based on area (square miles) or number of people?

Thank you my friend 🍻

Yeah that is just crazy. Beane chose to spend $30M on three C+ receivers instead of one A receiver. Obviously that strategy has turned out to be disastrous. Partly because he just refuses to consistently spend draft capital on them. Most teams have their version of Josh Palmer playing on a 3rd-5th round rookie contract. We waste $10M on him then we get lectured by the GM that it's not his fault he can't afford better WR talent.

Game week thread - Bills at Patriots*

I have Henderson in a FF league so I have taken more interest in NE games this year. The team that came into Buffalo and delivered a win is legit. They should be considered top tier in the AFC and their fans who are puffing their chests have a valid case to do so. I love our Bills, but I am not blind. The defense will have its hands full once again. Maye is cerebral, strong-armed and athletic. He doesn’t make many mistakes. The run game behind a good OL can be explosive. Rhamondre can still play too loose with the ball so that is an opportunity. We know the prick at WR1 all to well and he knows McD’s vaunted defense just as well. Henry is a solid TE1. The Pats defense is stout and disciplined and they have a strong secondary anchored by Gonzalez who has a case for top 3 cb in the league. We should wish that Josh was surrounded by the talent they have assembled in NE. The Pats fans should be confident this year. All that being said, ***** New England and ***** *Pats fans. Every last one of them. -
I believe I said full slow fade, but yeah. The Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers are a combined 10-14 in their last 8 games each, which includes wins against each other and that little win streak that the Ravens were on. Please lets not make them into something more than what they are, which is a group of not very good teams where someone has to win. Additionally the Bucs have been decimated by certain injuries, but regardless they are 2-6 in their last 8 for a total of 7-17 for the Phins opponents in the next few games. If they don't win, then they don't win. However, that is still a schedule that a team could take advantage.

Well by looking at the difference between the 2 half of the game good or decent teams/coaching staffs see what the opposition is ***** and make adjustments to their game plan during half time which is what the Bills have done 2 weeks in a row but that is all but forgotten in this fan base . The main emphasis of every out come of every game is put on the negative twist to it no matter what or seemingly how much they win by, even last season when the Bills were the highest scoring team in the league the only thing the fan base did was B word about the D .
-
I don't think this is an unreasonable take. The Bills do lack weapons on offense. They don't really have offensive stars that teams fear. Allen and Cook maybe a healthy Kincaid. I'm not getting all giddy about this offense because of the Bengals game. The Bengals D stinks and Allen was unbelievable. The Bills defense made a couple of plays that flipped and changed the game. That's likely not sustainable but at the same time give them credit. The Pats aren't the Bengals. Maye looks like a young version of Allen. He's still learning and of course in that process he makes young mistakes. However, he makes plays too. Just look at the previous meeting. He shredded the Bills defense with his arm and legs with his mobility. The Pats have a great coaching staff and they will be prepared. I expect a close hard fought game. Regardless of the outcome of this game, the Pats will win the division. They earned it. Yet, the Bills have as good as a shot to make a super bowl appearance as any team in the AFC. It's wide open... Go Bills!!!!

My point is that fans will turn on most players quickly regardless of regular season performance…especially those who follow a team with a history of heartbreak.

MNF: Eagles vs. Chargers (no Bills stuff please)
Gregg replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
It has to suck for the Chargers to have no fans in LA. That stadium sounded like an Eagles home game. When all of this relocating was being done it should have been the Raiders and Rams in LA with the Chargers going to Vegas.
