  1. Past hour
  2. Ate you arguing the border is less secure now than during the Biden administration? Laughable.
  3. I'd like to see the list...and the criteria. Then I'd like to see their offensive production and win/loss records. For example, the Bengals had arguably the best WR core in football last year. Certainly top 5. They also had a top 5 QB throwing to those receivers... Yet, they scored less points than the Bills, had lower yards per play and 3X the turnovers on offense. Oh and they had a much worse record and didn't make the playoffs. So maybe having great receivers isn't as important as you think it is...kinda like a certain GM has been saying.
  4. RBs may be coming back in vogue, but it’s still the easiest position in football to find cheap, high quality production, which is why they still rarely get second contracts.
  5. To add to the two backup QBs they already had..... seriously it's soooo bizarre. I'm pretty confident if it is a genuine competition Sanders will win the job. But I got the strong sense that the GM and HC don't want him to so I doubt it is a genuine competition.
  6. So you are correct if you are talking about a traditional golf cart, this one is set up to be street legal, with the appropriate base and tires. seat belts etc... HOWEVER, still scares me so it was I wanna see how fast this thing goes... I did, 31mph... but I dont feel good with anything over 15 - 20 on straight aways, and I am an old lady around turns LOL...
  7. agreed, but not sure you want Sanders when employing a multi-qb strategy the Bengals may be the worst. Wasting an elite QB with horrid roster management
  8. I 'm looking forward to the other 3 teams splitting with each other this year.
  9. Another one at the table, let's eat!
  10. I hope this off season Allen commits to improving long ball accuracy. Don't matter who you have with what speed if the ball is overthrown or off target.
  11. Because the NFL is paying stupid money to WRs. See the Cinn for example. At some point the pendulum will swing the other way. It always does. That change is already happening. 7/8 of the most balanced run/pass teams made the playoffs and the least pass oriented team won the SB. The NFL is a copycat league. RBs are already coming back in vogue.
  12. You are insane. The guy isn’t even good. He’s fighting for the 5th spot. Do people even watch other teams?
  13. Agree. Jeremy and his little pal have been acting like they survived an assassination attempt all week.
  14. And I have not read the entire thread, as it's growing to fast to keep up with it, but so far have not read one of the most important facts about last year, and his 8 YPC stat. His offensive coordinator last year, his third in the league, when many players start to come into their own.. was KEN DORSEY. Someone who, as I have said before the Cleveland hire, should never be an offensive coordinator in the NFL again, and that the only thing he should be permitted to do on on an NFL sideline is give Gatorade to the players. And even that is only with extensive supervision, extra training, and if he signs something saying he will never directly speak to any player ever. Or make eye contact with them.
  15. What Shenault can do at his position? Yea that's diddly squat.....
  16. They may not value running backs that way, but he is still a really good player. Schoen in NJ is from Beane’s tree and he let Saquon walk bc he didn’t think running backs were worth that much. For me I would rather pay him because I know he is good, our running game was very important last year and I don’t want to spend a high draft pick to replace him next year. But this is probably getting a little off track from the original topic, so I hope you have a great day.
  17. Yea if Beane had come in saying "guys look, I know you have been talking a lot about receiver this morning but honestly I'd love to have drafted one but I stuck the board and went in other spots and I feel good about what we have" then no issue. It was the "this is 2018", "let me speak" and "you guys wanna play fantasy football" that was the issue. I have no problem at all with him pushing back on the receiver narrative some. But he came in unnecessarily hot and actually I think if you listened to the full show as I did Jeremy and Joe had actually given quite a lot of credit for the defense moves and their conversation about receiver was a broader one about prioritisation of them, salary cap strategy, and how you factor that into draft value. Equally I actually thought Jeremy responded pretty well but then his closing after Beane had finished the call of "we are not playing fantasy football, we are smarter than that, and we are not here to be belittled" was equally unnecessary and petty. I've been there. I got the famous Sir Alex Ferguson hairdryer treatment back in 2005 when interviewing him because I asked a question he didn't like. You just have to keep your cool.
  18. And here comes the unemployment https://www.cnbc.com/2025/05/01/weekly-jobless-claims-surge-to-241000.html Initial unemployment claims posted an unexpected increase last week in a potential trouble sign for the wobbling U.S. economy. First-time filings for unemployment insurance totaled 241,000 for the week ending April 26, up 18,000 from the prior period and higher than the Dow Jones estimate for 225,000, the Labor Department reported Thursday. Continuing claims, which run a week behind and provide a broader view of layoff trends, rose to 1.92 million, up 83,000 to the highest level since Nov. 13, 2021.
  19. To me even more than the WR position, the biggest miss was not adding a LB better than Bail Inspector and I'm sure Chris Paul was the pick at 173 until the Rams snaked them. I can't think of a weaker link on the 53 based on ability and availability.
  20. That would be the politically correct thing to do. Me personally, I like that he spoke his opinion without fear. It was an honest take on his part and I prefer that to holding back what's really on his mind.
