  2. I appreciate the dialogue. and Leo knows I ask his thoughts with a sincere heart. I don't know all the answers. But he makes it plain for me and I appreciate HIM muppy I am working will check back to read more later. @leh-nerd skin-erd
  3. I trust Powell more than any human being in the Trump administration. He’s the only one who knows what he’s doing.
  4. Didn’t stop him from cutting in September. Were we at the “target level” then? The FED:
  5. alternet is the google of the mwww (mostly world wide web). Cash money.
  6. I agree, and I hear the banter of the all star team... and who knows with these things. Maybe they are right, Rocky Marciano may have beat Ali... lol... but here is why i believe dominate the all stars. 1. You are taking a group of players that many have never played together in their first year as a team and pitting them against a cohesive team that perennially advances in the playoffs... that rarely works out well for the allstars 2. Your head coaching despite the mixed MCDermott reviews would be quite inferior thinking Jauron, Rex, Mularkey, St Doug, Gailey et all... 3. The QB situation means everything to me and the difference is drastic... Extolling the virtues of a statue in Bledsoe doesnt help 4. This current team goes for about 13 wins in the current NFL with current players and current team... Best all drought team won 9 games. Why we would we expect a different performance against a Bills all star team that really would be their first year together in many instances 5. Non quantifiable but many believe that the performance of athletes trend up over time as they incorporate diet, training methods etc... they become faster stronger etc.... I am not sure athletes from 15-20 years ago perform in todays NFL in the same manner... but who knows... 6. Lastly, this team knows how to win at least in the regular season... those drought teams averaged about 6 or 7 mins. This to me as far as team, locker room, handling of pressure etc... is big... So, I know there are differences here, I think one person called me absurd lol for thinking the Bills would have a similar regulars season record as they do typically in their performance against a newly formed Bills all star team... who knows maybe they are right... they would be worse... but I just dont see it.
  7. It’s an interesting theory but I’m not sure it’s borne out. Josh threw 13 picks targeting Diggs over 4 seasons. On extremely high volume, 644 targets. Josh threw 20 INTs targeting Gabe, on less than half that volume, 299 targets. I was a big Gabe fan but I think the narrative of him being responsible for a lot of the miscues and TO’s bear weight.
  8. I had bacon flavored beer once. Two of my favorite things on the planet. It was horrible.
  9. Overall testing scores have plummeted since the creation of the department. We are lagging behind so many countries in key areas. I'd say it's a complete failure.
  10. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that drug companies are marketing to patients. The commercials always end with "ask your doctor if [insert drug name here - I'll use 'crack' as it's appropriate for this drill], if Crack is right for you." If I go to my doctor and ask, "hey doc, is Crack right for me?" And he says, "You know, you're right.....Crack is right for you. It's absolutely what you need." Well, guess who's finding a new doctor?! And while I'm at it......every new drug has every side affect known to man.
  11. The Bills 2004 defense and special teams combined with some hodge podge of the best offensive players (Jason Peters at LT, Lee Evan, Fred Jackson/Lynch, etc) from the drought era would probably at best make for a team that in their era could probably win 11-13 regular season games and with some luck get to the AFCCG. That's how terrible this organization was. The 2004 defense was a top 3 unit in the NFL and the best offensive talent from a 16 year period could probably put together an above average to good unit. I would genuinely take this years team over the drought all stars it was that bad.
  12. i just spoke with someone that is moving to the tampa area on friday. they've had a place, but now their daughters are in the area, so they'll be completely out of rochester. he made the comment that he thinks that people are going to wait one more hurricane season to see what the patterns are, and that could really determine the market. i really don't want to spend the money, but i'm not sure when the next dip would come.
  13. Controversial topic for first episode of Hard Knocks!
  14. WTH, can't this man's (and his family's) life be free of some major obstacles for once? Heard Jim on Robert Wood's podcast recently speaking about his soon to arrive first grandchild, looking and sounding so healthy, so happy. Put me in a great mood. As I was thinking of all of the tragedy and huge obstacles he has had in his post football life, and how he/they have overcome them. I realized how amazing this new life would be for Jim and his family. Hopefully that still becomes the case. Not fair.
  15. I love chocolate and I love Crown. I also love peanut butter and love mustard. But never the twain shall meet.
  16. I think the progression candidates are likely the 2023/24 draft classes. I think a bounce back from Kincaid and further progression from D.Wiliams and Torrence are likely. Then the 2024 class is just ripe for guys to breakout of limited roles or build on top of their rookie seasons. The regression candidates are likely the veteran guys. Knox, Milano, Dawkins, Taron, even Rapp and some other younger vets are the guys you think could regress. Obviously guys go up and down every year but the Bills season is likely going to be determined by the progression of the previous two draft classes.
  17. OK - go ahead and tell the Carlton story
  18. 3 episodes in so far...it's starting to get pretty good
  19. Also, I think this also contributed to Josh's major improvement in the turnover department last season as he was no longer trying to force the ball to a "WR1" target a la Diggs.
