I mean… the offense is kinda why the Texans scored over 20 (Shakir’s fumble in field goal range, for example). -

There isn’t enough media in Buffalo to run McClappy out of town. McClappy will stay just like what happened in Cincy with Marvin Lewis. Losing franchises that were just content with playoff berths. Crazy to think the NY media already ran Dabol out of town after winning COTY in 2022 and how the Philly media also got Andy Reid canned. -

I worked late in LA and drove home to watch the second half. First half I listened on the radio. My wife was invited to dinner and a Christmas kick retail off in our town in Clovis, CA. We decided to not travel to away games this year. $$$ spent and frustration to watch a team that I know wants to win. But not more than we as Bills fans want to. So we are still huge fans and always will be .. but we are just exasperated from the experiences of close but no go each year. Until they change out McB we need to place the Bills where they belong. Entertaining but not as invested. As I sit here pissed off after another lost year🤷🏻♂️..wish we felt different! -

Good thing there are TWO halves in a football game. TWO. What did they do that second half? What did the offense do? The losses have been on the offense. -
23 is the average score of an NFL game lol, how is that an automatic win

It depends on how bad these injuries are but yeah I'm not giving up on this season cuz as bad as the offense was that game was winnable at the end. A testament to our coaches and backups and even as bad he was to Josh. -
You think the defense is top third in the NFL, middle third, or bottom third?

I’ve officially reached the point where I’m more interested in the offseason than the rest of this current season -

oh well. I am not torturing myself over this loss like the atlanta and miami games. its who the team is. Just started a rewatch of breaking bad so I am going to the crystall palace to watch jesse pinkman eat rice and beans. -
You have to keep in mind those contract values don't completely come off the cap if the player is released. There's Dead Cap figures that come into play that effect the amount of cap space we'll get. For example, Dawson Knox's cap hit next season is 17.068m. But if we release him, we only save approximately 9.6m on the cap while taking on approximately 7.4m in Dead Cap. The entire 17m doesn't come off our Cap.

I'd argue they'd be more successful than the stale staff we have.

It would have given us a 4th and 16, so it matters some, but I doubt they’re falling for the hook and ladder again. This is exactly what I felt like I was watching.. Mahomes in the Super Bowl against TB or Philly. Houston also did this to KC last year in the playoffs but they couldn’t score on KC either. -
About time for us to pay for a fire McBeane billboard right in front of the new stadium
-
Heck you can add Bernard and Benford to this list. It's insane that 2024 was a "cap reset" year where we purged a ton of older players and traded Diggs away resulting in about 90 mil deadcap and our cap situation is ALREADY back in the crapper. Beane has done an awful job on recent contracts and managing the cap

Yeah this is the one game this year I will give the offense a mulligan. Playing a physical fast defense on the road on a short week. Gotta hold Davis Mills below 20 points. That's how you win this kind of game. -

I'm more worried about the Bills joining them. They are a 1/2 game ahead of the Jaguars and only a game ahead of Houston. -
McBeane has been making hires for 7+ years and in all that time the only legitimate NFL coordinator they've hired was a 60 year old milquetoast Leslie Frazier. In 7 freaking years. What on Earth would make anybody think these guys are going to bring a dynamic coordinator in here on either side of the ball?
-
That's kinda been the problem. Beane will sign guys, give extensions with void years and create a massive salary cap problem for players that don't really make much of an impact for us.

When you're going up against an elite Defense you need an elite Offensive gameplan... Not necessarily an elite Offense... But you better have an elite gameplan. I think the Bills just did what they always seem to do.. They respect their opponents, but they also look at it like they are elite too, and that means we're going to do what we do...good on good...and we'll see if you can beat us... I call it stubborn... Some might call it over confident, or something else... I think a smart coaching staff realizes this is a game that will be low scoring and physical. A game you can't let their best players beat you... This is yet another game the Bills get beat by an inferior team with a couple elite players when their elite players just absolutely go off against us. That is poor coaching IMHO... You have to make sure those players don't beat you and if that means you change what you normally do for a week so be it... But not the Bills, they are too good for that... -

But but but who would replace them? Josh makes people look way better than what they are. Middling coaches and gms would be every bit as successful. People are scared of change. But you know what doesn’t change? Gut wrenching playoff losses. News flash. This isn’t changing any time soon. This organization needs a reset from top to bottom. -
Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard
Dafan replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Pats lose this weekend...division is still on the table. They beat the Bengals...would be a miracle for Bills to take it with NE's remaining schedule.
