As most of you accept, Pegula will not likely terminate McBeane any time soon, if ever. These are the two individuals responsible for ending the 17 year playoff drought and turning the program into a near-model franchise with multiple and consecutive divisional titles. In addition the team is opening a new stadium next year and stability and proven track record are infinitely more important than the unknown quantity and uncertainty of a new administration. Moreover, Pegula enjoys a strong relationship with McBeane and works with them on what seems like a daily basis... he might even view them as the sons that he never had or at least, he might feel that he is a mentor to the younger men. So realistically, the only hope for those wishing that we can finally get over the hump and win a Super Bowl are based on who the Bills would hire as OC and DC to move on from the underwhelming performances of Brady and Babich. I think back to Buddy Ryan's defense making Mike Ditka a "Super Bowl-winning coach" and hope that improvement at the Coordinator level could pull us over the finish line in a similar way. Who will realistically be available for the Bills to recruit into what are really plumb jobs? What are the ascending programs? Whose coaching tree can the Bills harvest from? Who are the next hot coordinator prospects? Go Bills!

I'd love to see Dabol come right in as the pass coordinator. Then we can see him and Brady fightin in the booth.🤪

Thats because they overpay for depth pieces. You can take Samuel’s contract, Palmers contract, the contract of one other overpaid worthless player and add a premium player plus some cheap depth that aren’t really much worse than the overpaid guys.
