yea im not giving a pass on the drop but im hoping it explains the overall usage for the season. Was frustrating not to see him putting more pressure on defenses given what he was drafted to be. should’ve caught that pass but statistically they will happen sometimes. Hopefully no trend but a bad play.

Stephen Miller is the architect of cruelty pretending to be patriotism. The same guy who tore families apart at the border now wants to dismantle public education and replace it with state-run indoctrination camps. This isn’t about loving America, it’s about controlling it, silencing dissent, and whitewashing history to fit his fascist fantasy. If this doesn’t terrify you, you’re not paying attention. -
Who is our worst match up in the AFC as of now?

Chiefs. The playoff games where it all matters. We all know the results. -

Bit hyperbolic innit Doesn't hold up to rigorous scrutiny, although there's no doubt some players simply haven't "fit" for whatever reason yet have performed better elsewhere. Also no doubt some players who were afterthoughts elsewhere have famously shined with the Bills. It ain't easy, but we have to truly challenge our own conclusions when we're so emotionally invested and we don't have access to so much that happens behind closed doors. -

Bills Offseason moves to date & Projected Roster
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
You got to remember there was no free agency back then so was more worthwhile for a team to draft a decent backup and hang on to him as he couldn't go anywhere. If the Bills drafted someone decent, lets say Sanders, he's hardly going to play and once his contract is up, he's going to bolt for the chance to play elsewhere. Practice time, pre-season, training camp were all longer back then too so the backup had time to actually play and develop. Read someplace that the backup gets about 6 snaps per week with the 1st team so how's a low drafted rookie ever going to get any good on a team like Buffalo? The 3rd string running the scout team has more opportunities. Available QB's are ither going to go to a team where the starter is on shaky ground so they know a couple bad weeks and that guy will be benched and I'll get my shot. Or you have a guy like Mitch who's been around the block a couple times and has come to realization, his destiny is to be a backup. Darnold is maybe an exception, but lets see how this year plays out first too. -

Decent Buffalo-specific coverage on Sirius though? I'm not much for listening to national sports coverage. I will, but would much rather find a jazz station or even WBFO's new digital all-music format called "The Bridge." (Kinda/sorta emerged out of the ashes of The Pink.)

Yes. He was extremely hesitant to throw in Diggs, Beasley, Brown, E. Sanders, Hollins, and Coleman into the starting lineup because they were "new." It's never been a mystery with McDermott. He puts in the players that he feels gives him the best chance to win. I'm guessing the offensive coordinator has the exact same philosophy. -

I say Cincinnati because they have beat us handedly. We are 0-2 against them, and likely would have been 0-3 except for what happened to Hamlin. -

I’d prefer a starting safety over a potential #3, #4 or #5 WR. Praying we’re not going into the season with the same starting safety tandem as last year 🤮. -
Nothing says 'fiscal responsibility' like gutting food aid for seniors and veterans so we can fund a birthday parade for a guy who dodged the draft and salutes himself in the mirror. Sorry to the Army for having 250 years of honorable service hijacked by one man’s ego trip.

The best part about WGR in a landslide are the drunk callers and that they still have call in shows. Our local stations don’t have callers at all. It’s pure comedy especially post game, or the morning after.

I will be very surprised if that happens. Even if he is capable and of it, I know how it is to crack the lineup for this coach. He’s incredibly frustrating and acts like nobody new is ever ready. I don’t see him getting the opportunity to outperform -
Kansas City = Doesn't really feel like a horrible match up but we can't seem to get it done in the postseason. They have championship DNA and are the most difficult to put to bed in a game Baltimore = I thought they outplayed us in the playoff game without Zay Flowers and in somewhat optimal weather to bother Lamar. We forced the key turnovers but I still see this as a bad match up for us. Cincinnati = These aren't the Bengals from yesterday, but Burrow is built to play against our scheme. I have highlighted before he has no incompletions in 3 opening drives vs us, almost 200 yards, and 3 TD's. They're dangerous Houston= They beat us up last time and produced one of the worst games in Allen's career. It's a very aggressive and physical defense. Nico Collins didn't play in the 2nd half last year either I think all 4 of these teams could give us problems. We play all four, should be absolute battles.

Buffalo716 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Palmer is a solid football player I've literally been way less on Herbert than the majority of this board over the years He's a stat stuffer who has been folding with the game on the line since college... I think Palmer will easily be putting up 700+ yards And I wouldn't be surprised to see Kincaid go up to 700 plus -

Moore and Samuel aren’t the same player. Moore can stretch the field and actually run routes, Samuel will stick to his RAC game of being a gadget guy -

Wait, was Moore awful last year? I don't ask that combatively, but I haven't heard/seen that kind of blunt indictment to date (could be blind). Isn't Romeo Doubs some kind of dumb-dumb? Without looking it up, I vaguely recall some nonsense with him last season. Like potential football character stuff. No? Watson, sure. Offers exactly what the Bills fans have been lacking. -

Mister Defense replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
i agree but he cannot be so focused on that that when a player gets hot in a game it stops him from feeding him the ball, and again and again and again... he did do that last year, but sometimes not see: AFC Championship Game Cook was on fire, not stoppable. Feed him more and then the rest would have opened up more too, as KC would change things to stop him McD seems to feel the way most of us do about that game, it seems, so that is a good sign--he is a man who does not forget and learns from the past
