I feel like this isn't factored in enough when we talk about the defense in practice. They line up against Josh Freaking Allen every day. Of course they are gonna get their tail kicked. When it comes to a guy like Max, going against our all universe, MVP, Superman of a QB day in and day out is going to help him in the long run. Come time for the regular season, yes we have Lamar first...but that's followed up with games against Justin Fields, Tua and whomever is the winner of the Saints job. Even if he's taking some lumps now...I think he will feast come game time against the lesser QBs of the league. Get him all the experience we can in time for him to be razor sharp for January.

It would have been nice if the Bills new stadium was like Sofi. Roof over head but open air to enter the stadium. In a perfect world a retractable roof is what Buffalo needs. Sept thru Nov there really isn't to many issues with the weather. Maybe a game here or there when it's raining or windy out so then use the roof. For the most part its only Dec and Jan when they need a roof in Buffalo. But I am sure the new stadium will be nice as its presently being built.

I actually think the wind thing is more about the quality of play than it is about fan comfort. I remember so many games in the current stadium where wind had a significant impact on game strategy and it didn’t always help the Bills. The fact that the new stadium is completely encircled with a consistent height grandstand and cantilevered roof (coupled with a more favorable orientation) should greatly cut down on those type of games. Far more than any metal panels they erect on the exterior.
