QB2 outside of helping Josh in the film room isn’t a position I think about for a second. If we need our backup to win games to make the playoffs, we aren’t a Super Bowl team one way or another. -
You can either rely on Medicare or pay for better than Medicare. Just like you can rely on Social Security or also have a retirement plan.

JA - top notch (just another day at the office)

If Wilkens can help the Bills win more games than what they have now and future, then they would sign him. I don't see Allen or anyone would have a problem. The Question is does he. #1 is the health. The Raiders should know better than anyone about his health, especially a projection when he'll be able to contribute. Carroll is a capable coach, not one of those dump ones. The fact they took a big dead cap to release him now make you wonder what they think of the situation. #2 is that Wilkens is going to be 30 coming December (in comparison to Oliver, while drafted in the same class, is going to be 28 in December). So if he's not able to contribute much this year, you are looking at an over-30, coming off rehab DT next season. -
On important passing downs, I hope Oliver and Sanders are side by side. Sanders isn’t huge, but I had heard he’s up to 305 at the moment. If he can maintain that, I think they’ll play next to each other on passing downs. Josh Allen being the best player on earth?

If you are under the impression that DNI Gabbard is a crusading Lone Ranger looking through boxes hidden in closets and putting out into the public all the records she is showing during her press conferences ... Please. Everything she is releasing is being coordinated with CIA, DOD, and DOJ. DNI does not have independent declassification authority. She must follow the procedures set forth in the EO to do so. The Agency that produced the classified information is where the declassification authority rests. So, for example, the House Intel Comm. Report published on Tuesday was sent by that Comm -- then under Devin Nunes -- to the CIA Inspector General in 2017. In 2020, then DNI Ratcliffe sent it to the CIA again for purposes of getting it declassified, but that didn't happen prior to the end of Trump's first term. Now CIA Director Ratcliffe declassified it and gave it to Gabbard to publish. Gabbard is just the face of this exercise. My guess is that this is an exercise of rehabbing her after she was very publicly on the wrong side of the Iran bombing issue several weeks ago. Trump likes her and isn't interested in having to replace Cabinet officials. He knows how the constant turnover in his first Administration contributed to crippling efforts to get things done. This is the perfect issue to push her forward on -- particularly as a life-long Democrat from Hawaii now busting the chops of her former party and Hawaii's Favorite Son. Somewhat ironic since Obama urged the Hawaii Democrat Party to name her to replace Daniel Inouye when he died, but they ignored him and named Brian Schatz instead. If only .... But these disclosure by her are all part of a well thought-out plan -- and I think the declassification and disclosures are only just getting started.

I hope our D really comes to life this year. It seems that we have good depth now at a lot of positions. Past few years we have been bit by the injury bug on D and it has cost us. It seems to me that we have built a solid platoon for this season. This could, should, hopefully put us over the hump and in the bowl to win it! Let's go Bills, buh buh buh buh buh buh Billllssss! -

Agreed. While I’d love for Hancock to come in and compete for his position, I don’t really see him getting up to speed with the playbook and getting accustomed to the offense fast enough to push Cam out. Cam will be playing fast and reacting while I expect Hancock to take much longer to process

THE WALLS BE CLOSING!!! 😂 The only people who believe Trump is implicated, are the people who don’t know the Trump/Epstein timeline: 2005: Trump bans Epstein from all Trump properties for hitting on underaged girl. 2006: Epstein arrested in FL after Trump helped victims go after Epstein. 2008: Epstein convicted on minimal charges and 18 month sentence from Bush-appointed judge and let off the hook by Clinton-allied FBI. 2008-2016: Obama and the Dems did absolutely nothing about Epstein. The media didn’t touch it. It was a “conspiracy theory”. 2017: Less than 3 weeks after inauguration, Trump signs EO 13773, targeting “Transnational criminal organizations and preventing criminal trafficking”. It was one of the first things Trump did as POTUS. Trump targeted not just Epstein’s operation, but others like it around the world. 2019: Trump’s DOJ arrests Epstein, seizes his island, throws him in jail for crimes against children. 2020: Trump’s DOJ arrests Maxwell, throws her in jail for crimes against children. 2021-2024: Dems under Biden don’t say a word about Epstein. Anyone who is spreading that Trump is implicated in crimes related to Epstein, is simply proving they are ignorant to the entire situation and timeline. Trump is not Epstein’s buddy. Trump used the full force of the US government to take Epstein out, shut down his operation, seized his island, and threw his ass and jail. Trump has been after Epstein for 20 years. After Trump found out the monster that he was, Trump knew what he had to do. Trump is Epstein’s #1 enemy.

I know Mougey and Glenn want to win being the new GM/HC combo but to me it feels like a throw-a-way season for the Jets. Fields is only signed for 2 years. He is on his 3rd team in 3 years so is he really the long-term answer. I don't know if the Jets will be bad enough to be in the Arch Manning race for the draft next year, but I would be surprised if they don't go QB in Rd 1. -

Defensive backs must suck 🙃 -
Well I’m sure trade compensation doesn’t matter to you because it basically proves Fields was next to worthless compared to Darnold at the same stage. Both players had failed on their rookie deals. Both teams were OBVIOUSLY moving on in the draft with top 2 picks. One was traded for a second, 4th and 6th. The other was traded for a 6th round pick that could be a fourth. I don’t know how to explain this any other way than the player who commanded a much higher trade package was perceived as a much more valuable player around the league at a similar spot. It’s really inarguable. The edge OBVIOUSLY goes to player worth a high day 2 pick + day 3 picks than a dude worth a conditional day 3 pick. I strongly suspect you argued pre-Fields trade that he was DEFINITELY going to get around the Sam Darnold package.

Hey guys: For those of you who have and like Sirius, specifically the Movin The Chains show, I looked up on their website so here you go for those who like Pat Kirwan (ex front office for the Jets, and several coaching stints) and (former QB starting and backup for several teams), Jim Miller. The camp comes to St. John Fisher on 7/29 from I believe 1-3pm. Based on on last years they do several interviews taped from that morning, or live many of the top players and of course Coach McD and Beane. My guess is they will interview Josh, Dion, maybe Cook, Beane, McD, and maybe some others. It’s a fun show, and if you go to camp that day, you can probably talk to them when off air, and probably get close to some of our stars. I know many of you don’t have Sirius, but they are the top NFL radio show in America. They love the callers, so if you’ve called in on air, let them know it, as they try to prioritize you guys. If you’ve called in have listened, you may have occasionally heard me. I’m Dan from Tampa, but I don’t often have time to wait on hold for over an hour. If you’ve miss it, but have the SiriusApp, they always record for a few days. Enjoy. I honestly don’t know how to record the taped show, or would be happy to copy for you guys. I’m sure somebody on this board. Knows how to record for it.
