  1. Past hour
  2. The logos on the helmets were supposed to look frosted but instead they looked like gray blobs. I think there was too much lead in the paint because the players looked brain damaged.
  3. Walking out of the stadium Sunday night I looked around at the sea of white out jerseys and told my son they should start a huge bonfire in the parking lot and burn them all
  4. A mysterious back ailment keeps those checks rolling in until the season is over. That sounds like a solid plan…..for self preservation.
  5. Bailey Zappe is on the PS...lol
  6. 100%. And I'm very grateful to both guys. But we are treading water here, and Allen is on the cusp of 30. I hope that they don't even make this a consideration by at least getting this team to the SB this year.
  7. They know the system and are better options than another random guy off the street in a break glass in case of emergency situation. They also know the guys from a character and chemistry standpoint, and probably feel like they can impart some of that "Bills culture" on the younger guys on the 53. Truthfully, how often does any team's practice squad hold some impactful player or diamond in the rough?
  8. It's tanking with extra steps though. There's no reason for it.
  9. A lot of people (myself included) would welcome a change, but Terry likes Beane and McDermott as his GM/HC combo. Unless the Bills completely fall apart and miss the playoffs I don't see either one in danger of losing their jobs. Even if they did miss the playoffs Terry would probably give them another year to fix the problem.
  10. Starting Flacco behind that line is tanking. He is a leader in the NFL in INT/attempts when he plays
  11. Even if Josh audibles, he is coached to audible to certain plays based on what he sees.
  12. As much as I love Sean and Beane, I strongly believe that if we miss the reaching the SB again we HAVE to move on. Things seem stagnant and nothing has changed when compared to last year. I think Beane has done a disservice to Allen by not providing better targets especially when he could have instead of drafting crappy players (Landon Jackson, Bishop, Greg Rousseau, Basham, and that one CB that was traded to Dallas). Something has got to change. What do you guys think?
  13. You're right...I stand corrected.
  14. Yea the amount is quite odd. Every team does it but 7 former players is a bit much. Surely you'd want a look at someon other guys who maybe carry traits you don't have on the roster already?
  15. Joe still getting them benjamins
  16. I know you're just joking but we have to be at least a little concerned about the Pats threatening for the division. They, like seemingly everybody else in this middling conference, have an easy schedule the rest of the way. Their toughest remaining games are at Bucs and at Ravens (assuming they are fielding a normal team by late December). And then of course their 2nd matchup against us which might decide the division, seriously. If they keep pace with our wins the rest of the season and beat us in that game, the division is theirs. I wouldn’t bet on it of course, they're still a young team and have some legit flaws on both sides of the roster. But I wouldn't bet on us running away with this thing either.
  17. I wasnt insinuating that we go get a CB for the PS. I was insinuating that our attentions are more urgent to get a corner on the 53 man roster sooner than later. We are down to 3 on the 53 man plus Dane Jackson on PS. We have a bigger supply of LB's right now on both the 53 and PS. Tre is getting torched and even Benford doesnt seem to be the same guy. To add a rostered corner plus add Hoecht and Ogunjobi next week we will need to cut 3 rostered players. Hopefully, those players can be added to the PS. But that will be harder if Spector is taking a slot already
  18. We didn't "get rid of" Tyrel Dodson. When his contract was up, he was signed by the Seahawks to be their starter, to fairly decent money. He wasn't going to give up the opportunity to start in Seattle to be a Backup here.
  19. McD overvalues his system. If the guys who we do have aren't great athletes, but know the system, and our D is terrible, how is that better than bringing in great athletes who can just make plays? It's frustrating. Our defense has not been good for several years in a row but we keep rotating these garbage role players through. OR, we sign new guys but give them zero playing time because they don't know the system. End of day, it is better in my opinion to make mistakes with great athleticism and at full speed in football, than to not make mistakes but also not have the talent to be effective at the job.
  20. Imagine the outcry from democrats if instead of wanting children dead, he said “men should not play in women’s sports”. He could never have survived such a thing.
  21. And that’s just how long it would take his car to travel 60 yards on an empty road. If you account for the speed of the cars traveling towards him it’s likely less than a second before they would’ve collided.
  22. Remember making a goofy face and your mother said “be careful, it could stick like that!” We have a bunch of people here who will never be able to wear gloves again!
  23. No stone unturned and the only LB still stuck under a stone from getting plowed is Spector.
  24. We discussed this in another thread earlier in the week. My viewpoint is in line with the OP. I get having a few vets around. I don't get having 15-20% of the roster taking away from younger talent, more athletic talent. It reeks of cowardice how much we fear the other teams offense and value protecting the D at all costs. Prevent the big play is important, but you should be able to do it without all these old players.
