Well… part of it may be they have adjusted to what the bills are doing - part of it may be because they are good QBs are good? The defense has adjusted there asses off this year- they aren’t the best that’s been on the field since McDermott has been here but they are also a mash unit you gotta admit since McDermott got more engaged with play calls they have turned things around

My wife and I watched the first half together. At halftime, I suggested we take a nap and check the score later because the defense was playing like hammered crap and we were both tired anyways. I woke up to check the score on the computer right before Benford's pick 6.

If that’s the case, then maybe as a team with SB or bust aspirations we deserve an experienced DC instead of a puppet learning on the fly. 🤷‍♂️ Just a thought.

Denver & Houston have the best defenses. I'm definitely not sold on their QB's. But this year, they may not need to be great to get to a SB.

I feel Dolphins-Steelers is the best game tbh because Miami isn't 100% out of the playoff race. CBS's slate though is awesome.

What are you going on about - they brought extra guys starting with the very first 3rd down - just 1 minute into the game. They brought 5 guys including a LB. Then they got burned by Higgins - so they played off to come up and tackle and gave up 2 third downs with guys breaking tackles in the first drive. Then they brought extra guys a couple of times on drive 2 and Cincinnati threw a quick pass out to Chase and hit Gesicki - so again they backed off and Higgins went over the top. They tried simulating pressure with 5 and 6 guys on the line and people dropping back. Just like when Allen or Mahomes is on fire - when Burrow is hot there is little you can do and he was pinpointing passes in the first half with defenders all over the WRs and TEs. His guys were winning everything. They got more aggressive trying different blitz packages when the LBs did not get home and that was leaving Higgins and Gesicki open in the middle. The CB blitzes helped, but also put Chase on Lewis which was a mismatch. The difference in the second half was Higgins and the Cincinnati team dropping the ball and not making plays.

Drake Maye has played that elite schedule and top tier defenses like the Giants, Raiders, Steelers, Saints, injured Bucs, and hobbled Falcons... lol The Bills played Spagnola's tricky defense in KC, the Falcons playing in their superbowl with a hobbled offense, the Texans elite D, and more... the PAtriots are playing quite well but Maye is not even clsoe to the league that Allen is when it comes to overall quality. Ask any fanbase who they would rather have: Allen or Maye - i think only the PAtriots would be stupid enough to take Maye.

My go to stress move was full systems go- when defense is on field play candy crush in between plays and look up after the other team hikes the ball

The heavily invested in dline was missing three of its best guys to be fair. Even missing Oliver with hoecht and bosa in there against kc they looked significantly better. Granted bosa you kinda expect to miss some time but the other two guys being out on top of that is pretty unlucky

DAMM - It's a good thing they didn't lose or all hell would be breaking loose in B/lo ! Do you all ever see the silver lining and did any of you that are complaining celebrate that the BILLS WON !!! I guess the old adage that you can't make everybody happy is still true no matter what you do !!

Come here the day after a great win - actually two great wins - and more whining about whatever. It makes zero sense.

Why apologize? Don't. Benford wasn’t playing great at the beginning of the year and now he has been playing better and making some amazing plays. He was never really playing poorly but he did give up more yards and catches than you would expect from your #1CB. Nobody called him to be benched. Most on here never even really criticized his extension. Bernard has been terrible. If he comes back and makes some plays in the playoffs doesn't erase how bad he was earlier in the year. Rousseau has been nonexistent all year. If he gets a strip sack in the playoffs it wont change the lack of plays he has made in the season so far. And here is another one. I love Cook but his fumbles cost us one game and almost cost another. He is arguably the MVP on the team but he needs to hold onto the ball.

Josh is the better QB. No doubt. I do think Maye has been better if your sample siz is the 2025 season. It helps that he has better WRs and McDaniels/Vrabel. I do think Maye is generally a more accurate passer in general. His ball placement is incredible. Josh had that type of placement yesterday, but I don’t think he’s as consistent with it. this is my bullet proof vest: Josh is the better QB. No doubt

People discussing the decline of the Raven's as parrallel to the Chiefs and Bills is silly. The Ravens with Jackson have never approached being the favorite to go to the Super Bowl from the AFC. This has rotated between the Chiefs and the Bills. The difference is the Chiefs won some championships before the decline and the Bills did not. If anyone who watched Mahomes yesterday and Allen yesterday and Jackson yesterday, and still does not understand how much better Allen is than the others at elevating the team above the level of its roster and its coaching, there is nothing to say that will make that clearer. This is the worst Chiefs roster in several years. And Jackson is just not good this year. The problem in Baltimore is coaching / QB , not the rest of the roster. Maybe this will be the year, but Beane and McDermott have the NFL's greatest cheat code, but somehow even with the cheat code can't get to the level to even play the final boss.

Why do so many here ALWAYS find and push the bad over the WIN ??? Just be happy they won for god sake . You know they have classes for that right ?

During the first half, I wore my Josh Allen jersey. Boy, how stupid was that!? immediately took it off at halftime and we obviously won solely because of that.
