I would rather have Myles Garrett. He’s the best player in this scenario and the best DE in football. The Bosa’s both have extensive injury history. Do I think the Browns are going to move Garrett no I don’t. I think scenario 2 is more feasible because I assume both would want to play together and Buffalo does seem like their type of city.

I am with you on this and good points. I do think that Jordan Philips had 10 sacks one year then got the big money deal from Arizona. But he was not a DE obviously. I think when Hoeth comes back next year also with the two Bosa's it would be good. I am a Garrett fan also don't get me wrong he is awesome. But with all of our above average contracts for mediocre players it would tie our hands for getting free agents and Bean hasn't shown that he can draft great players to fill the void if we were to get Garrett. I honestly would be good either way, but McD's Defense is where DE's come to die just like Brady's offense is where WR come to die.

Sure you can. In this case, I assume equal will, and still give the Bills a 90% win rate in each game.

I think many Bills fans have officially jumped the shark. The number of people who are regularly pissed about how we win is absurd. I get the vitriol over some of the losses and knowing we aren't a perfectly built squad. And, we could be much better had Beane in particular, done some things differently. But, it's time to enjoy the win and hope for some good fortune going forward. If they win I'll be ecstatic!!!!

"Pittsburgh knows they're defeated. That's what happens when you run the ball down somebody's throat" One thing nobody I've seen mention is the at the lineman trying to block Bosa actually has him around the neck and lets go to avoid the holding call. That's why Bosa was able to get back at Rogers from behind. Lineman decided getting his star QB destroyed was worth 10 yards.

I was hoping he'd be ....in addition to, not in lieu of.

Yeah the Hoecht injury was tragic because he was looking like a huge difference maker for them the rest of this season. But roids are notoriously hard on tendons. Never a surprise when a juicer pops a tendon. The bummer is that NOW he's in the "real" testing program so his PED options will be limited. Typically the cheats tend to get a year of carry over performance before the bottom falls out. So Beane has to figure on getting the shell version of Hoecht after a year and a half of having to be cleaner than those players who haven't gotten themselves caught. I don't think you can count on him for too much next season. As for Joey Bosa.......I think we need to realize that the very slim chance that Bosa had a full-on "second act" coming and hopes that he could turn into one of those guys who figures out how to stay healthy late-career should have gone out the window with all the nagging, performance limiting injuries he's had this season. Now he's got a pulled hammy going into THE game where, on paper, everyone knew they would need pass rush more than any this season. If he misses the next couple games that will be gross. I think at best he is just going to be a week-to-week journeyman pass-rush-only guy for the rest of his NFL career. Maybe in the offseason they can get a package deal with him and his former teammate Khalil Mack. Instead of bookends they could share a spot. More likely, they go back to the DE well in round 1.

The entire $7.2M cap hit gets added into the new contract. The Bills have options where to put that.

He looked good yesterday. Was aggressive and was reading plays fast. Hopefully he is full go in the playoffs.
-
he looked great, I think he did last week also. But man, he's made of glass. I'd still be in for a LB in the 1st-2nd. Caveat: the Steelers offense is a total joke besides Rodgers who is likely questioning why he came to the Steelers. (so are their coaches, FO and owners). Like they didn't start throwing to Washington till the end of the game against our smaller LBs. Steelers were also missing a OT and Guard. Can Bernard be moved to backup safety? We look much better with Thompson and others there.

None of these. I'll be happy to be wrong and for the Bills to be Champions . Not going to say I'll never criticize him again. We all watch a lot of football. We can see when a player, particularly our QB, has the "it" factor that looks like he can win a SB championship. Many of us also see that despite McD being a very good coach, who has substantially improved the team, he often comes up short in the game management and game prep in the biggest games. We see that "it" factor in guys like McVey, Reid, Payton, Siriani,... and coaches of the past such as Parcels, Shanahan, Gibbs, Walsh.... who often make the difference for their team in the biggest situations. These coaches always make the right challenges, manage their TOs perfectly and are bold in play calling in the biggest situations. We have a QB who should be able to win 3-4 SBs, needs to be paired with a coach who can get him there.

Week 13, Bills v. Squeelers, GAME BALLS!
Walking Tall replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess I didn’t see him because, according to Sal, he only played 13 snaps. But nothing went wrong in those 13 so he still gets a gameball from me. Just this ball is made of nerf. -
Did anyone else see the switch flip with Josh Allen?

I gave him unsolicited feedback before the game. I hope he took my constructive notes thoughtfully with grace and aplomb.
