There’s something different about McD this season…
TheFunPolice replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
There will be in about 6 weeks when he's sporting a SB ring -
the impact is that he makes Dawson Knox expendable for cap relief..this Hawes-Kincaid are ying-yang run-pass kings and all we need is 3rd TE depth and Knox is too expensive for 3rd string

I wonder what the perception is this week if Josh Allen doesn’t make about 5 amazing plays and Benford 1… -

there's only one left and i dont think its a coincidence all the bills media has soured on beane recently -
Has Josh Allen put himself back in the race for MVP this year??
Udubalum07 replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
If the bills win out, I think it would be a no brainer. That would mean Allen would have put together some great performances for it to happen, and teach 40 tds again. The only exception I could see happening is if Maye plays really well in the loss, and New England wins out after Buffalo, or if Stafford hits 50 touchdowns or close to it. -

Heard from the OBD coaches and coordinators: "He's allowed to do that?! Golly!"

Has Josh Allen put himself back in the race for MVP this year??
The Jokeman replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd say Cook's recent fumbles have pushed him down further on the list for possible league MVP but think he still our team MVP this season. -

No, he's been just like the team, up & down, hot & cold. -
KC fans would want Denver to lose enough that they need to care week 18 and play, but not too much that NE or BUF overtakes them for the #1 seed before week 18 kicks off. IMO the most likely outcome is KC wins out but DEN throws the week 18 game to keep them out. This all shows how thin the margin is in the NFL and the importance of every game and every snap. During the Bills/Bengals game the talk was "they're wasting Allen!" but then Benford's pick 6 swung things. Instead of it being 35-25 a handful of plays later with something like 2:50 left to play it's an epic comeback for the Bills and Beane was right all along because they are going to go on and win the Super Bowl this year. It's crazy to think that if Burrow just ate the sack on that play we might be on the outside looking in right now for the playoffs.

It would require a pretty epic set of circumstances for Josh to pass Stafford and Maye. I would love to see those circumstances unfold, but it's just not going to happen. -

Or you can be a complete and utter moron who is given a team laden with HOF talent out of the spite of the owner for his previous HOF coach who kept stepping into his spotlight. Better? -
Agree. He's got that internal clock that knows when to disengage from his assignment and make himself available as an option if the play called doesn't materialize as expected.

Week 15 games with AFC playoff implications (and my hopes for them)
Gregg replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
The only one I disagree with is the Chargers-Chiefs game. I want LA to lose as they have the same record as the Bills. Win or lose the Chiefs are dead. It's better if the Chiefs win this game. Their last stand to save their season was against Houston and they failed. -
Or Maye

Buffalo (9-4) at New England (11-2) - duh. We win and we eliminate their tiebreaker edge and are one game out with 3 to play. 3 NFC teams against AFC contenders. Go NFC! Arizona (3-10) at Houston (8-5) - Go Cards. Green Bay (9-3-1) at Denver (11-2). Go Pack. Indianapolis (9-5) at Seattle (10-3) - Go Hawks. AFC Battles Baltimore (6-7) at Cincinnati (4-9) - go Bengals. Get Ravens that much closer to official elimination, although they do host the Pats in week 16. LA Chargers (9-4) at Kansas City (6-7) - Tough one with LA officially ahead of us right now. But the note about official elimination above also applies to KC... I enjoyed KC's loss to Houston and I'd enjoy this one too I think. NY Jets (3-10) at Jacksonville (9-4) - J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets Miami (6-7) at Pittsburgh (7-6) - Some have mentioned wanting Miami to have something to play for in their week 18 finale against NE. Personally I want them dead because I hate them. Go Stillers.

What concerns me about Pete is Bor-ass. His modus operandi is to let things drag out as long as possible which means there might not be a good backup plan OR we end up overpaying.

If we beat NE and Josh plays well, he will become the betting favorite. No doubt. -
Chiefs can squeak in if Chargers lose out which is possible. it'd be hard for the Broncos to not get the #1 seed with that happening, however. but it's possible the Chiefs win against the Chargers, At Titans, Broncos, at Raiders
-
Denver does play GB this Sunday. Even though it's a Broncos home game that will still be a tough game to win.

Thankfully we have online football forums to fill in the gap some.
