The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Mod_Squad_Reject replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Based on what was possible at the time I’d take neither. I would have rather had McConkey at least he’s a dependable WR2/3; Coleman was a lower-volume, with possible higher upside WR3/4 that hasn’t materialized. Worthy is really just a faster gadget guy and about as productive as Coleman and that’s with Mahomes & Andy at KC. -
Game week thread - Bills at Patriots*

Yeah the very thought that something like that could happen is ridiculous. It would be like a 9-3 Dolphins team a couple of years ago losing to a team like the Will Levis led Titans. -

Scenarios for winning the division; scenarios for winning the #1 seed
MDH replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think it’s a crazy thought that the Bengals can still win that division with a 8-9 record. What it takes… Cincy wins out vs. Balt @Mia Ariz Clev Steelers loses 3 of 4 vs. Mia Det Clev Balt Baltimore loses this week to Cincy and 1 more vs. NE GB Pitt The most likely way this happens is if Pitt loses to Miami & Detroit then at Baltimore in the season finally while Balt stumbles vs NE or GB. I don’t trust this Steelers team at all…which is why I hope they win the division and the Bills get the 5 seed. -
Against Miami??? Didnt that one get called back due to a Robert James holding call... like 8 minutes after he scored the TD LOL

If New England wins (Next Week), they officially win the East.

Who they are is a Mike Vrabel team. There is an old saying that says something to the effect of , “ he can take a hissin and beat a yoursin and he can take a yoursin and beat a hissin”. Zak Keefer of the Athletic wrote an article at the beginning of the season that talked about, among other things, how some coaches have one playbook and some coaches adapt their book to whatever their team can do. Vrabel is the latter. He took 90 some odd players, thanks to injuries how far in Tennessee? He has his teams ready and he is probably on par with Parcells when it comes to respect in the locker room. The turn around in NE is huge, which begs the question were they that bad or just not well coached? History says good teams with late season bye equals playoff run. And I don’t believe in jinxes. They happen, but probability and possibility are two different things. I’ll see myself out. -
I just had a crazy week 18 scenario: Chargers/Denver Chargers either win the game and the division or miss the playoff entirely Denver either wins and wins the division and is the 2 seed or if they lose they're the 5 seed In that scenario if the Chargers win all of DEN,LA and KC get in and the Colts and Texans are out. If Denver wins DEN and KC are in and the Colts replace the Texans. I also think in playing with multiple scenarios that Baltimore has a great shot at their division still.

Yeah, Worthy isnt Tyreek, but he is serviceable and makes you account for him... Coleman... they could care less... they cover him with a LB... they are fine... there is really no specific attention paid to Coleman on the other teams defense... -

I know, I was hoping we’d have him back for a week or two before the seasons ends, just to get him back up to speed, but yes, playoffs at least.

Appeals court hands Trump win in lawsuit over transgender military ban Kaelan Deese A federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday cleared the way for President Donald Trump’s ban on military service by individuals who identify as transgender or have gender dysphoria, staying a lower-court order that blocked War Secretary Pete Hegseth from enforcing the policy. The 2–1 decision by a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit sharply rebuked U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes, concluding that her ruling in March overrode military judgment and applied a standard of review the courts are not entitled to use when second-guessing force-readiness decisions. The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
LeviF replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
All this bitching and moaning about Worthy being as bad as Coleman (he's not) is just sophistry designed to distract the entire world from one simple fact: Mahomes is not playing well this year. Josh is a bit up and down but Bills fans have way more to complain about with Coleman because 1. the plan was for him to be our best WR and he's not, even though the entire room is stocked with JAGs and 2. Josh, while a bit up and down, is having a slightly better year than Mahomes in spite of having lesser talent at the WR position. -

They’re both not good, but I’d take Worthy over Coleman 10/10 times. -

It’s good you were able to select seats to your liking, but I find the whole “coverage” discussion hilarious. Nobody cares about being out in the windy cold at the current stadium but suddenly are afraid they are exposed in the new palace. The concourses and entire experience are going to be so great at the new digs and those in the lower bowl got those seats because they want to be outside. -

If they are not they have deep issues. Quite honestly, I take Gabe over Palmer at this point...

Moulds had an RAC knack I do not see in Coleman... He was a bit aloof like Coleman ... bottom line to me is no... I dont see Coleman getting the chance to develop into Moulds at least here... I think they are done with him after this year unless there is a massive turnaround that is way out of character...

And they're both averaging about the same yards receiving per game, too, if I remember correctly. -
I think we’ll win, and maybe even comfortably, but to this point - it’s a bit hilarious that we just excuse the Defense allowing themselves to be dominated in first halves because “we need to get a look at what the opponent is doing” No other playoff teams have this issue and it puts insane stress on the offense right out the gate.

Josh definitely played himself into ‘most unbiased people know he’s the mvp but he won’t get it for technicality reasons’ territory but I’m not sure he’ll get much further than that Football is so crazy, we’re probably a Devon Achane toe away from us winning the division and Josh being the other guy neck and neck with Stafford in the mvp race lol it really is a game of inches. Achane just stepped out of bounds on what coulda been a game winning td against the pats a few months ago then the dolphins ended up turning it over on downs 😂

A lot of good, and I'm sure correct, answers here regarding the turf and what happens when we try to remove snow. However, one aspect I havent seen mentioned is cleats. The players have different cleats for playing in snow than on a clear field. If you are clearing snow, but then it is also accumulating over the quarter/half, then the players will have the wrong cleats on for part of the time no matter which way you go. I think it's easier for them to say "ok, we're playing in a a couple inches of snow so wear those cleats" and stay consistent, then having to go back and forth on a clear field. But I just made this up so who knows.
