It’s time to have an uncomfortable conversation about Taron
boyst replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
At this point I wish we could go to more of a strategic dime. I don't think we need to do that against the Panthers because they can run the ball and we don't want to go to that dime package putting Taron and Lewis on the field. However if we did a hybrid dime were Shaq Thompson is on the field with Bernard at will linebacker and someone decent can play will that isn't named Dorian Williams.... Sure Against the Chiefs we found success in the playoff game once we finally woke TF up and the coaches realized we weren't going to get anywhere having a hybrid nickel in AJ Klein on a tight end. Putting cam Lewis in with Johnson is what got it done That may be the way to ride the rest of the year against teams that can't run the ball, which isn't a big deal until we face Philadelphia. Putting in those two with Shaq Thompson at will linebacker enables us to keep linebacker traits of Shaq Thompson, who is playing successfully and our best defender right now. -

You have anything other than epstein files? -
Ewing and the 90’s Knicks is more relatable to the current Bills. There was a team and a guy that was in their way. Sounds familiar?

That, and keep him on the field for more than 56 percent of the offensive snaps. Seems kind of obvious after our defense got shredded by a top tier RB, who got a lot of snaps, touches, and particularly, touches in space. It was a script for what we should be doing with Cook. -
I can still sing the entire theme song.
-
That glass of half full water is 40% Josh Allen water. 10% James Cook and the rest of the offense falls in line there. The defense is about 10%. The coaching is the ice cubes that take up more mass than adding in volume.
-
I'd sure as s*** get them some game time in against the Panthers. God forbid, we actually need one of them to play against KC.

What's funny is the people who not support Trump didn't always support him in the beginning, and those who supported the beginning no longer support him. The confusion is that he has grown his base during the same time I did not do it for him the first two elections. Yeah when you're holding up the values of bush as your token conservative compared to what's been going on in the Democratic field you really just have a token because of the same coin and just the opposite side. When you're talking about accountability as what you hold as a judgment it is impossible to give any credit to any president in the last 30 years a true outstanding mark. Trump might be the most accountable over the last 30 years because he has done exactly what he has said or at least try to. Obama went in changing his position with the wind every single time, holding no true value and pushing the country and to further divide. Bush relegated our country to elevate the security State and the Federal overreach. Clinton alienated the United States people for overseas interests. Biden, will anyone who thinks Biden did anything seriously I don't think should be taken seriously. Trump is done exactly what he's talked about doing since he got in office. He hasn't gotten the results because of overreach by the judiciary, and other complications such as not being politically Sharp throughout maneuver people especially in his first term. But yeah I'm going to stand by it and say he's the only one that has stood out to do what he promised with unwavering deterrence

Being forced to justify the wasted draft pick 😡 -
No, I’m not questioning you or anyone’s loyalty/fandom. We’re all here talking the Bills because we love this team and all it represents in our hearts. I just think some folks are seeing an empty glass, when it’s easily more than half full. This team has more talent than you want to see. The notion that they’ll tank the season, bottom out and Pegula makes a clean sweep is ..remote.. to say the least. So why not enjoy the team we have and dream of another playoff run, as opposed to hope for a complete collapse and top 5 draft pick? I’m certain the former is much more likely than the later.

Anything to deflect from the Trump-Epstein files. -
Watch the tape. Rousseau does his job very well. He goes above his 1/11th. Roos had deep bone bruise that affected his play the first 3 rounds. Still he played well. hoecht and Larry O are going to elevate the whole DL, the whole D. Watch Roos Sunday. Roos has a big game Sunday IMO

I don’t understand why people are afraid of that. Look how bad we have been on the backend. What’s the worst that can happen? You try him in practice…if he sucks then cut him. He’s on the team. You owe it to yourself to see if he can be of use. He can’t play corner. See if he can be used before you dump him. It’s a low steaks thing. There is zero downside -
Howzabout Billy Joe Hobert, and no playbook? 🤔

maybe his final season in the NFL with us when he can barely throw the ball downfield, we’ll finally get some decent WRs. -
I’m in 100% agreement with the bolded. We are saying the same thing. I’m more disappointed in the people that bought in as if that was a good idea. 🤣🤣 I get why the Bills tried get people to “look over here and see the birdie.” The Bills process has been flawed. The results are obviously not good at WR but it’s because they didn’t really try. Swinging and missing happens but missing without swinging is the bigger issue.

Like, my hope is that they finish last and draft Manning... I think Arch isnt a franchise guy and that will be another 3 or 4 year set back...

It would be like that if the Knicks had prime Michael Jordan and couldn't get over the hump. Just kept getting bounced by Patrick Ewing and his Chicago Bulls. -
New coaches added this year - any impact?
Ray Finkel replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I get it but sometimes out of the coach’s control. Ex. Matt Milano gets hurt this year and comes back for a half and misses more games for the same injury.
