I took a look at the WR FA market for next year and it's BLEAK. George Pickens and a bunch of has been and never was. If he's going to remake the WR room like we hope, he's going to have to move up a bit in the draft AND swing a major trade.

All jokes aside there are teams that had him scouted when he came out. They could view him as a guy that would do better in their system. I could see his trade value being anything from a 4th rounder at very best to a late round pick swap at very worst. I don't think he requests a trade. But I do see him possibly retiring a lot earlier than most anticipate to start his post NFL life as healthy as possible. The rumor I heard a few different places was that the 2026 first was wrapped up in Beanes offer to the Jets for Q. Williams.

Christ, McConkey isnt and dont need to be a slot WR. Is Diggs a slot WR? Same height and weight but faster and played much better competition in College. As for McDuffie, and all pro corner is MUCH more important and impactful than Betnard. He isnt one of them.

He hasn't neglected the WR position. Just hasn't chosen the right guys. Last season he signed Samuel for decent $ and used his 1st pick on Coleman, and this season signed Palmer for decent $. That's not neglect, if anything just bad judgement-big difference.

McD has said more than once that Coleman has not been good enough. When that’s the case and he is not responding appropriately to coaching you can certainly call that disciplinary, but regardless, I am sure they know it’s not good enough, and so does he.

If Thompson is healthy he needs to start. The LBs are a major issue here but it can be fixed in house. 45 and 42 should be the LBs going forward. I love Milano and if he’s out there with Thompson, I can live with it. I’d strongly prefer Dorian Williams out there at this stage of their careers. In a perfect world we’d just play a base defense and maybe actually be good but I can’t ever expect this coach to get that. 42 45 58 on the field all at the same time really changes the physicality of the defense. With Bishop making strides I feel like I trust the back end. The one certainty is 8 needs to come off the field. I’m willing to believe he’s hurt. That’s fine. I don’t care. It’s nothing personal. He just sucks right now and I need him off the field. It’s time to start trimming the fat. It’s not really an issue of labeling why you aren’t playing well. It’s a matter of, the better guys need to be playing. It’s very simple

Beanie is terrible at drafting WR’s

Mariota does not look like he belongs in the NFL. He can hand off and dump it off, but even his scrambles often result in little gains

OL, namely Guard is considered "low value", as is TE. Not an opinion, just look at how infrequently teams use first round picks on these players. CB1 is not, it's a very high value position based on the draft. Hopefully he hits on Max because he took a massive whiff on Elam. He has no history in football player evaluation until Dave Gettleman tried taking him under his wing in 2013. He was a Cap guy and administrator for the bulk of his career. It matters that he has a role where only 32 jobs of his exist in the world and what is probably the biggest focus of that role is something he had zero experience in until 2013. It shows up in the roster everywhere with our middling talent.

Ending those drive with two FGs for Miami is bad. It assured it will be a close game into the 3rd Qtr at least
