  1. Past hour
  2. Oh no, the current coaching staff brought in a guy as a "consultant" (prestigious!)... one that theyre familiar with/have previous work history together. Dude cant coach an offense, but hes well-liked by the guys hes coached. Easy transition for both parties, that helps both sides out. Its a role that really only makes sense to hire a guy whos coached in the NFL before, and the only people accepting the job are coming from a pool of current unemployed guys. Its a nothing-burger
  3. He needs to learn to play to space out there not play off contact.
  4. If he can get better at eating off of DB's heads, he can play out there. If he can't, he probably won't. His ball-tracking can be suspect at times and that's not usually an easy thing to overcome.
  5. If there is one thing I trust McD on, it’s CB’s. If McD signed off on the trade, it was time for Elam to go.
  6. He was in college too. I just think he is miscast trying to force him as an X receiver.
  7. Right now he's much more dangerous horizontally than he is vertically.
  8. I would guess that his guys are so protective of Allen that it might be an even bigger problem with the rest of the locker room than it would be with Josh himself.
  9. No pads on so the tweets about the d-line doing well is a bit ridiculous Allen was absolutely on fire though. Only a couple off target passes the entire practice.
  10. I hear ya!
  11. Mine is not hate. But he is a non-separator outside. That is just a factual statement. He was in college and he was last year. I think he has a role in this league but it is not the role I think the Bills want him to play. Keon's best attribute is his run after catch ability. You gotta get the ball in his hands close to or around the line of scrimmage and then let him use his power, agility and vision to make defenders miss in the open field.
  12. Fare enough…
  13. As you can tell from my username...I am all for anything Game of Thrones.
  14. HOUSE, in more prosperous times...
  15. There is supposed to be good and bad in training camp. It's called practice for a reason.
  16. Maybe we can unveil them out on Lake Erie...I volunteer to jump in
  17. Yep, exactly what I was getting at. It would require Josh's approval, I'd love to know what his real answer is.
  18. That was Dan Patricks best line while at SportsCenter
  19. If you are interested in the guy you give Josh the final approval. Sometimes a lot of these rival players like to "have that guy on my side" mentality. But given that Josh is who the whole franchise is built around and Wilkinson is a fringe acquisition Josh gets to have "veto power" on the signing.
  20. Pretty sure it's the same all white throwbacks for both. They can choose to wear white at home.
  21. Look, man, I’m not busting anyone’s balls for the making the pick. The fact is that it was a horrible pick. And so was Elam. It happens. All the time. I can opine that a player was a horrible pick (which I did) and still not criticize the GM (I did not). Luv ya! 😘
  22. I don't think Elam or Maybin were considered massive reaches at the time. McCargo was considered a massive reach at the time for example. He was drafted in the late 1st and many pundits and evaluators had him as a early to mid 3rd round talent. Elam was considered by most to be a firm top 30ish talent in the draft at a decently valued position. He went 24th that's right in that range. Maybin was considered a late 1st rounder very early 2nd rounder early in the process and then roster up into the "mid-1st" range in the evaluation process. Maybin was drafted 10th not that far off from a mid-1st round position. I didn't like the Elam pick at the time because I thought he might not be a scheme fit and I thought go offensive line protect Josh but let's not pretend it was a McCargo level reach either.
