Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?
NoSaint replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Call me crazy but I still think that Coleman was drafted to let Shakir walk and now our pass catching resource allocations are all kinds of messed up with a million slot guys, the leagues richest backup tight end and prayers Elijah Moore can get behind a corner occasionally if you gave beane truth serum I think the hope was Keon, Samuel and a higher end WR addition - see something like Devante, DK but Keon hasn’t shown to be a real starter, and Samuel struggled and now that high end salary has to split between Palmer and Shakir to fill multiple roles. -

RB and WR markets are actually insane.

Maybe you should spend some time reading up on the contracts and how they work. Rookie contracts have PPE clauses for non 1st rd players to earn additional money based on performance. Cook was one a a handful of players to earn PPE level 3. Shakir earned a PPE Level 1. https://operations.nfl.com/inside-football-ops/nfl-operations/2025-nfl-free-agency/contract-language/ I hope this helps. -
How many wins do the Bills get without Josh?
foreboding replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Based on the 20 years before Josh...I'd say 6-8. -
You’ll need a jointer, planer, clamps, wood glue, orbital sander (80, 120 and 220 grit discs), food grade oil. I’d suggest finding some pieces of cherry or oak to give it some character/color.

Okay list all the nfl teams that you think have worse WR groups than the Bills. I will expect a definitive answer of AT LEAST 13 to consider us decent/average. -
I’ve made charcuterie boards in the sense of cutting up assorted meats, cheeses, and olives and displaying them on a serving dish. I also did some high school wood shop projects to made decorative cutting boards, but I’ve never combined the two.

How many wins do the Bills get without Josh?
folz replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
We'll have to agree to disagree on the WRs and win total without Josh. I think the WR group is decent/average rather than garbage and I think the RBs and TEs with the WRs give Josh plenty of weapons. Just mo. And it is a very fair point that Josh makes both the O-line and receiving targets better. He avoids sacks that many QBs wouldn't be able to. He is accurate, can make all of the throws, and as you said, makes a lot of off-script plays. He definitely makes those groups better, I just don't think that they would be completely terrible without him. I think there is still a lot of talent on the offense, particularly the offensive line and RBs. It's just so hard to quantify how much better Josh makes them, or what they would look like with a different QB. - Today

1994 - Kelly & Reed vs Favre & Sharpe - NFL Throwback
2003Contenders replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall
IIRC that was the “hug and make up” game for Kelly and Reed. The previous game, the offense struggled, and Jim and Andre had a very public and heated altercation on the sideline. This GB game showed them clicking on all cylinders, and I believe Andre set the record (at that time) for the most receptions in a game. Showed what a leader Jim was. Such a shame that Jim went down with a knee injury a few weeks later in a comeback attempt against the Vikings. The Bills lost the remaining 3 games without him and failed to make the playoffs for the first time since 1987.
