  1. Past hour
  2. I will come out of my hole to evangelize for NFL+ Premium (for however long that lasts) because honestly it gives me way more for my money at $100 for the year. I have been an out of market fan for over a decade now so the struggle is real. I did NFL Sunday ticket when it (finally!) was offered as a separate package and it worked out to ~$100 per Bills game I watched on it. Between the sheer number of Primetime games I get all of them between services I already use (Sling for NBC & ESPN exclusively when it's football season and Amazon Prime because it's worth the money) and that the Bills are a main draw making free local broadcast a thing, more than half the season is already available for me to watch NFL Premium doesn't let you see out of market games live. What is *does* do is give you NFL Red Zone and have the official streams to the WGR broadcast and...I'm not going to lie, I enjoying listening to the local radio team a whole lot more than Chris Collingsworth. There is a slight time delay where I will see a play on RedZone before I hear it, but the radio commenters give me the leadup and context to understand the play. Then, by bedtime, there is a full replay of the game for me to watch every minute over. Plus, as we hit the doldrums of summer, I can go back and rewatch my favorite games from last year. Unfortunately, I think that's something that out of country fans only get.
  3. He wouldn't give top of the market money for sure. However, Beane's stated in the past that he wouldn't be opposed to drafting a first round running back (I disagree with him) and that line of thinking would pry extend to giving productive backs second contracts. Just the mere fact that their appeared to be talks between Beane and Cook's agent makes me think the Bills want to re-sign him. I think I remember correctly that Beane sigend Breida in 2021 even though they had Singletary and Moss because of Breida's home run potential. Cook has that. They pry have Cook's value around $8m given his age, work load, efficiency, and work ethic. Far away from the $15m though that Cook seems to want. Beane pry won't move off that price so he could pry draft a RB next year that's maybe 85 to 90% the player that James Cook is at a fifth of the cost. Still somewhat rolling the dice though even if RB is one of the safer day two picks compared to other positions.
  4. 95% of the games I watch are free OTA. I am extreme northern WNY, on a clear day I can see Toronto from my deck, most Bills games are broadcast on local channels and I pick up Canadian CTV that broadcasts many primetime games. All HD perfect picture over my antenna. On rare occasion I resort to nflbite.
  5. I never understood these generalities- that somehow, MAGA is a monolith… I consider myself to be MAGA, and I have disagreements with other conservatives all the time… We are not just some backwoods, Duck Dynasty, hillbillies that the media and the Left tries to portray us as… I never really cared about Teslas- but I never hated them either…
  6. He’s washed up. He’s not doing anything for the Steelers.
  7. “I’ll tell you why: you won’t always have a calculator in your pocket when you need to do division, or any math!” “Lady, have you seen my math scores? I’m not growing up doing something that requires math.”
  8. Trump deserves the backlash for caving to the Establishment…very disappointing… I like a lot of the domestic things he’s done, in addition to the border…But his budget, and not committing to auditing the DOD, leaves a very sour taste in my mouth…. Elon did his job, but Trump was never really serious about it…His “Big Beautiful Bill” is bullsh*t! I don’t mind him cutting back on the average Joe, as long as he cuts back on the rich and powerful as well…After all, we ALL need to sacrifice a little since everyone contributed to the horrible debt we have… I have also had my suspicions about the Epstein files not being released…Trump controls it…So why release them if he thinks he might be implicated? Almost seems like he’s being advised that it’s in his best interest… I could be wrong, but just trying to think logically about it- I mean, either he’s implicated, or other powerful people, who are, have dirt on him, and are blackmailing him… I don’t regret my vote for Trump because I still feel he is better than what the other side is offering…I’m just disappointed he hasn’t done more- given the state of our debt… PS- Pam Bondi sucks…😉
  9. Makes plenty of sense. It's just not what you want to hear. The more fungible a position, the less guys there will be paid.
  10. Today
  11. That’s fair and Legends definitely knows what they’re doing. They are the best at this. I’m suggesting that they’ve likely, already, tweaked pricing from their original plan to get to where they are. It may be minor. It may be major. It may not have happened. They monitor trends, close percentage, demand, the WNY markst, etc… You have to be nimble IMO with a whole stadium to sell. From my own experience going through the process, it felt like the pricing was a little reactionary. We held off after the trip through because it was more than we wanted to pay. We were told that’s what they have available now. Less than a week later, we were called, moved across the aisle, and saved 25%. That could be coincidental but it didn’t feel like it. It felt a little like a car negotiation. Basically they knew we were going to be in and paying a big number. It felt a little bit like, “a bird in the hand” from them. Again, it’s a little anectodal but it felt like they left $20k on the table between my brother and I. We ultimately would have paid it but it became a matter of who will blink first. It COULD be coincidental but I doubt it. It seemed like they did what they needed to get the deal done and they slid us across the aisle (literally the seats next to the ones we looked at) to get it done. They save face by moving us 4 seats further from midfield. They get 4 club seats sold and we save 25% a piece.
  12. It's actually come close to happening in the NFL a couple times. Interestingly, it's happened in college at least twice, and the same announcer was calling both games even though they were about ten years apart.
  13. I’m mildly optimistic. I think that there’s a chance that Cole Bishop wins the job and Rapp plays alright.
  14. The truth hurts? Huvudet på spiken, så att säga. Hey guys. Look at me. I am protesting people calling me out by advertising my ignores on a football fan forum!
  15. I thought this was a sneaky NFL London promotion by the Eggman.
  16. You'd have to calculate how fast each train gets up to that speed and the wind resistance.
  17. This is why Ukraine cannot be occupied. Guerrilla warfare for the 21st century.
  18. One from the field of Hancock and Lewis IS a lock. The question is it one of them as a lock, if so which one? Or do both make it? We have to have at least one Backup Nickel, which was Cam last season doubling as a Safety and being counted on the Safety Depth Chart. Jordan Hancock is being brought in for the same role as a Backup Nickel and Safety. Will he outright replace him in Year 1? Time will tell. While @Bleeding Bills Blue is technically correct that none of them can be called locks (although I agree it's unlikely Hancock is going anywhere) - that doesn't mean it's wide open for a UDFA. Rapp and Bishop will be here. One of Hancock and Lewis will be here. And then there's one more spot for Hamlin (who I don't believe will go from Starter last year to cut until I see it), the loser of the Hancock/Lewis comp, Forrest, and then Owens as a longshot. In my opinion, it will either be Rapp, Bishop, Hamlin, and Hancock or Rapp, Bishop, Hancock, and Lewis. I envision that Forrest and Owens on the outside looking in, in the eyes of Beane and McDermott.
  19. I thought he was referring to the Epstein Pedo Files.
  20. Yet another Winning Season for Coach !!!!
  21. 9/11: 19 of 20 terrorists from Saudi Arabia. Saudi not on the new banned visa list. 2015 San Bernardino terrorist attack: terrorists from Pakistan or Pakistani background. Pakistanis not banned. Boston Marathon bombers: of Russian/Chechneyan origin. Russians not banned. Boulder pyro attack: Egyptian who lived in Kuwait for 17 years. Neither Egyptians not Kuwaitis banned. Hey, close enough! Trump in a nutshell. All performative symbolic outrage signifying nothing.
  22. Pedos tend to be gender specific. So yeah, whatever. Plus Elon will just make another one.
  23. Remember Musk loves pedo shaming his enemies.
  24. Being alive is good enough for me
  25. HUh and Halliburton is over rated LOL. Go Pacers!
  26. That I finally now know how to score a single point in football, thought I’d find the answer of another mystery that’s escaped me for too long. You must show your work in long division. (anyone remember that teacher rule?)
