He doesn’t call an exciting offense and the passing game bogs down until the Bills are trailing, but we’re getting production when it matters most. As I said in another thread, there’s no need to run Josh Allen on 2nd and 9 from midfield. Let the RBs bang into the OL, let Josh pass, or scramble if it’s there. That’s what you’re paying him $55M to do. I don’t need to see him get seriously injured before the designed runs stop. Save that for the playoffs in the redzone.

Would love to see him incorporate a jump pass with Josh. 3rd or 4th and short, Josh in shotgun, starts to run up the middle, stop and then short easy throw. Not sure how the D defends something like that. Or a pseudo option play on a sweep with Cook. Continue to put the D in precarious positions.

For the Falcons to control the time of possession and only come away with 3 points is sad. They bench Cousins and spend a first on Penix only to have him dink and dunk.

The Jets played it too safe. They needed to rack up points, they were playing Josh Allen. Instead they played conservative, even when down by 3 scores, they punted on a critical 4th and 2 at midfield. I expected more from the Jets but after seeing this game I think we could have hung 45-50 points on them if we had to. Instead we played the clock and got to rest some players for Thursday night.

The pass game today was not good. Josh was rushing things and felt uncomfortable in the pocket, guys dropping passes, OL got pushed around. Look, this pass O did well in that 4th quarter against the Ravens, but it hasn't been consistently good through 8 quarters so far. Still early in the year. I don't like how easily teams clamp/slow us down when they play man coverage against us. That shouldn't be a good game plan against us with Allen at Qb, and yet it is. We face more man coverage last year than any other team in the league, make of that what you will.

Can they outscore us with that defense? Look what we did with Baltimore? On paper I think the dolphins have more talent than we want to give credit for. Waddle, Hill, the young kid Washington, Darren Waller isn't the same as he used to be but he's still an option. Achane, Wright, Gordon, and even Ingold seems to do something once in a while. I might take those skill players over the Ravens as a whole. Ravens have Hopkins, Flowers, and Henry. Likely is getting banged up a lot and Andrews and Waller are even. Simply put the dolphins have as many weapons at the least.

Bills going to 3-0 and sending Miami to 0-3 sounds like the perfect Thursday evening. I don’t discount the weapons Miami have on offense but Allen/Cook will not be stopped

Im with you, unless I can get one of those top guys with my 3rd or 4th pick, I avoid. This league however all 14 of us have been in for 5 years running now so you have a feel how the drafting is going to go… he, correctly, knew those QBs never make it out of the second round; all 5 (Josh/Lamar/Burrow/Hurts/Daniels) were gone in the top 30. Crazy, cause my top 2 picks on that league are making me face an 0-2 hole in Nico Collins and AJ Brown… 🤮
