A good point. Who was calling the shots? I'll wager our more liberal/progressive friends here have little to no desire to seek that answer. Because having some shadow person or group make presidential decisions sounds quite unconstitutional. Why they didn't just 25th Amendment poor old Joe and promote Harris to President isn't clear but my guess is getting her to go along with the puppet President routine would have been difficult.

This is correct. It hasn’t been this or that. It has been this AND that. Maybe correcting one of the two will be enough to get a Super Bowl? Maybe it won’t. Either way, the pass rush hasn’t been good enough NOR have the WRs been good enough.

Joe Brady says Dalton "lived here this offseason"

And KC’s coaching staff is always one leg up on Sean and his Allen isn’t the issue, it’s other players and coaching staff -
Bishop and Rapp will likely be the starters, Forrest and Hamlin are quality depth both of whom will compete to start and while I'm not sure about Forrest Hamlin plays special teams decently so Hamlin adds value there. Then you have a mid round pick in Hancock added to the mix. Likely it will take an outstanding camp performance and pre-season for Owens to "force" the Bills to make room for him or it will take an injury there to open up an opportunity. Plenty of room to make the PS however...

Keon Coleman success by route - Not pretty
2003Contenders replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Considering his size and basketball background, I could absolutely see Keon being successful in that role if he toughens up and uses proper leverage and nuance to block out defenders. I also thought that -- admittedly with a limited sample size -- he was somewhat effective as a rookie with screens/bubble routes. That is an element that had been missing from the Bills' passing game in recent years (Diggs was terrible at them) -
Russia-Ukraine war has caused 1.4 million military casualties. Of the 1 million Russian casualties, roughly 250,000 troops have been killed, while Ukraine has seen around 60-100,000 of its soldiers killed out of 250,000 casualties. It is difficult to calculate accurate casualty numbers since Russia often under-counts and Ukraine doesn’t report them. The study used figures from U.S. and UK government estimates and other sources. Russia has seized less than 1% of Ukrainian territory since 2024, with its forces in some places progressing just around 165 feet a day, according to the study. The country has also lost a third of its long-range bomber and surveillance fleets, nearly a third of its Black Sea fleet, and some of its top generals. Co-author of the CSIS study Seth Jones told The New York Times that Russia’s campaign is one of the slowest in modern history https://justthenews.com/world/russia-ukraine-war-has-caused-14-million-military-casualties-study

Same. Former WNYer, longtime Bills fan. I have about a 25 minute commute each way during the week. There's nothing on local radio I want to listen to*, and I've had the same CDs in my car for 3 years**. So, I pull up Audacy and listen to 20 minutes of Bills talk on the way in and on the way home. * broadcast radio is unbearable with at least 50% of any hour now filled with commercial advertising (the same ads over and over). ** Yes, I still have the same car with a 6-disc CD player that I bought new, 18 years ago. My wife's car we bought new 20 years ago. They both run great, so I'm having a hard time justifying getting another new car. 😄 But, I'm looking.

The tweet is kind of histrionic. AFAIK, Amazon Prime TNF is free on Twitch TV. Plus, most have Prime anyway. You can also watch all games for a much lower price on NFL+, or just go to a sports bar.

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
Ned Flanders replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
You certainly do not need YTTV to get ST. However, I think it's about $100 more without YTTV. -
If someone torches one of your houses because they are upset over social injustice, it’s all good because you have insurance. Right? 🤦🏻🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️

I go to the sports bar to watch games. I rarely spend more the $70. I used to think I was spending a lot of money for the luxury to watch football. Now I realize I'm a financial genius. -

I do the same thing. My credit card gets charged once a month for four payments during the NFL season. -
Where in Connecticut? Madison/Clinton straight line thru Waterbury is Red Sox - Yankees line. So we got NYC, CT, and Boston stations. Bills would be on local television every time we played the Jets and Patriots. Between the many CBS and NBC stations- sometimes Bills would be on. I’d watch Sabres-Bruins on NESN and MSG. Mets were 9, Yanks were 11, Red Sox 38. Knicks and Celtics. UConn. ESPN Bristol CT. WNBC 660 sports radio could be hilarious. When callers call out Franseca for BS or the late night phone calls lol. They took calls all night! 😂 much, much simpler times, but for a chunk of my life, I enjoyed Connecticut sports coverage

Joe Brady says Dalton "lived here this offseason"
eball replied to sunshynman's topic in The Stadium Wall
The late great Joe Paterno recognized this deeply...he often explained why he didn't "trust" players at times is because they were college kids and who knows what was going on in their personal lives. The QB's girlfriend might have just broken up with him. We all know that '22 season was an emotional roller coaster for the entire team; was Josh supposed to be the superhero who rose above all of that? I think it's unfair to put that on him. -

Draconator replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
My TV App gets all NFL games for $47 a month, all legal. (Plus all MLB, NBA, NHL, ESPN+, and over 600 local stations across the US. Even BBC from England and other English Stations). -
Man. After 8 years, the pass rush is never good enough to win a Superbowl and the receiving options aren't good enough to win a Superbowl. Brutal.

I'm on the same page. For those of us outside the Buffalo market, anything is better than the local stuff in most cases. I listen to Schopp and the Bulldog on my drive home. Some folks don't like them, but for me it's something. But I gotta say, they have the best gig in the world. They would go several weeks at a time where neither would work a full 5 days. One of them would be off at least one day a week. It doesn't bother me they take days off. What bothers me is they don't get a fill-in. One of them would do the show solo and just babble for 20 minutes at a pop. That's the worst radio content you can do. You need the back and forth, or at least do a bunch of callers. Their 4-hour show 5-days / week is really a 3 1/2 hour show 4 days / week. Their last half hour is always replayed content from earlier in the show.

So you just buy the Sunday ticket but don't have Youtube TV? I tried last year and was told that I had to have YTTV to get the ticket. I will double check, that would be great.
